But, a prostitute, generally speaking, is a lady whose full time occupation and primary source of income is selling her body for sex. A "sideline" lady is one for whom selling her body is not her full time occupation and not even her main source of income; although she is open to earning some extra cash that way should the opportunity or need arise.

When I arrive at the airport and go upstairs, do you think any of those taxis start at 1000 baht to go to Pattaya? No. They will start at 2500 or 2000. I negotiate the price to 900 plus 105 for tolls and just give them 1100. They have even run the meter times before and the price doing that would be no more than 1200 anyway. I have also posted those pictures here.

When I was in Phuket doing tours I did not pay the price listed on the booth because I negotiated with the people. On a tour in Seychelles I negotiated a price of 130 euro while others on the same tour were paying 300 euro. The lady said she could not go below 130 because she has to give the tour operator 110 euro so that would only leave 20 euro for her.

When I bought my motorcycle off ebay the listed price was $3700. I sent a message and negotiated the price to $3000. I was in the market to buy some property in my neighborhood that was listed at $110,000. I looked up its history and saw it had been for closed on for $25,000. My brother has a real estate license so I told him to call and offer them $28,000. He said they were not going to accept that. They emailed him back accepting the offer.

It is an easy and simple technique that I know many people who do not come from bargaining cultures refuse to do.

This is a worldwide phenomenon, girl who has a regular job and has sex from time to time in exchange for money / gifts / goods. You can call them 304's, sluts but not prostitutes, I'd think prostitution is more of a full-time thing.

The part-time lady also has a more selective approach and won't have sex with just anyone and / or for any amount of money.

But that only applies to a freelancer in a bar. A sideline lady can work basically full time in a bar, just not draw a salary. There is an implication that she can and does change bar a lot.

I am waiting out Songkran by having ladies come to my condo, so I don't have to go out.

Yesterday, the twins came (consecutively).

And if you've been there before, you know the Talent in the Fishbowl isn't up to par so Sidelines was the way t go.

My last Nataree experience was with our Notorious "MP Lurker" and we did take a sideliner (each). Sure was more expensive, the ladies decide on their price and I believe they just need to pay the MP a fee for using their premises.

The young girl I took was an office girl from some BKK company, she was a bit clumsy in the room, but when she got going, it was great.

Back in the day and specifically in the large soapie massage parlors, but not in gogos, there would usually be a select group of ladies seated separately from the ladies in the fishbowl. These ladies would often be better looking, and therefore more expensive, than the fishbowl ladies. They were referred to as "sideline" ladies because they were not on contract to the establishment and could come and go as they pleased, typically just one or two nights a week. I have no idea if this arrangement still continues in these parlors nowadays as I haven't frequented them for a long time.
