But what has happened to Sosua, is that it has changed over the last few years, from an Island fantasy paradise, where you could get a beautiful girl that didn't want to leave you, and wanted to be everything for you, to a crass, commercial, quick, bait and switch hooker haven.

Mr GoGo (see his forum) warned me about this, and I had to be dragged, kicking and screaming to reality.

(Fortunately I retained a relationship with an ex semi pro who I met back in the salad days and who remembers Sosua like I do :)

As Mr GG says, there's still a lot of good stuff in the D.R., outside of Sosua.

For New Garden this is business as usual. This happens all the time and they know how to deal with it. It is, regrettably, the most common scam played on us. When it comes time to pay chicas I get dressed and walk out of the room. Once they are outside I close the door behind them and pay up. When they start to argue I just walk away. If they follow I go to security and complain and it is in their hands. I just walk out into the streets or back into my room. If you are really generous tip security for their help. The chicas forget in two or three days, and even if she wanted to fulfill her threat we all have to go home sometime and not bump into her for a while.

Now if they do not leave the room just try to convince them or call security to escort them out.

I just had a similar experience. I asked for BBBJ for DOP 500. Well, we did so much in bed that I was willing to pay her DOP 1500. Well, sure enough, she jumped to DOP 2000. I refused and she continued arguing. Well, got dressed, walked to the door, waited outside to give her her money. She threatened not to leave the room, all this time having doubts whether I was going to pay her asking price. Once out of the room, I closed the door, paid her, and she begins to argue. I walk away, argument over. I did give her DOP 1600. Probably the only mistake I made. All this is unfortunate considering that she was fantastic in bed. If it wasn't for this misunderstanding I would do her again. Iron ally, she has been trying very hard to get my attention, for the last several days. I just ignore her.

As for hotels, there are only so many of them in Sosua. For each hotel she is banned from she will be losing money. In the long run she is only hurting herself and will have to move on since, pulling this stunt, no one will allow her through the gate. Thanks for sharing.

We are all different, and have different risk levels we can deal with. Our physical strength, ability to deal with adversity and in some cases trading punches is different. So what works for someone may not work for another.

Some of us like peace and harmony on our hard earned vacations, while some like a little more excitement to get the adrenaline flowing. That's life.

A lot is said here about the bait and switch putas, and that is true, but there's also another side to at least some of these confrontations.

There's a popular hotel there where the manager arbitrarily filters out known "complainers", who get into more than their share of trouble with putas.

They find their reservations not being honored or sent up the street to another hotel.

She knew he had already paid more and she was willing to go "all in" on this guy. She stayed in the bathroom thirty minutes to strengthen her case that she had put in time for extra duties to security. She would lose face in the beauty salon when other girls were bragging about getting double what she got. I still don't know why he went back down to security to watch the argument after he was dismissed. I can only guess that he is really a nice dude but maybe also the girl saw weakness and decided to exploit it.

Just like when the girl agreed to 1500 all night with me. Then in the morning she changed it to 2500. When I was explaining it to the maid in her presence she changed once again to 3500. So when the police came, which she wanted, the maid was a witness that she went from saying 2500 to 3500. So she painted her own picture as a liar. I have been hobbying in the Caribbean for over forty years and find Caribbean women to be the most dangerous of all. I have been hustled in a myriad of ways by chicas. Of course they are adamant when they are trying to cheat you but for a chica to be cheating and to threaten to kill when she does not succeed just seems a bit too much to me. She totally lost her head and jeopardized her chances of ever escorting another John to that very popular hotel in the future, only an insane person would do that knowing that they are in the wrong and from everything else that he said about her she does not seem mad. There may be more to this story.

I had a great trip. I think my actions were prompted by the fact I only had three days. I did 13 girls in the 3 days. Only one of the sessions was sub par. I had to have my manicure girl who had great tits. All the others sessions were off the chain. I used massages to get the girls in the mood. I got great reviews from the ladies and giving massages turns me on so I am ready to rumble. At its worst, it's the only human activity where you would bring a poverty stricken Third World complete stranger, off a sleazy street, bring them into your bed, and hope they don't rob you.

Hell's Angels, the Mafia, El Chapo and the cartel, it takes years, if ever, before they would even let you near them :)

But at its best, a few common sense precautions that you would use at home in your own city, and you can be completely safe.

The only time I got "gamed" in 8 years, was when I got stupid and didn't take my usual precautions. And even then it never escalated to anything more than a soap opera.
