Medellin Reports

I recently found a small boutique, reasonably priced hotel / party house on Carrera 36 that is girl friendly. I never used to stay at hotels and used to rent on airbnb but more and more private apartments are having issues and it is getting harder to find cool apartments with one or two rooms and larger ones are charging way too much.

It is a small 11 room boutique casa / hotel and they have a gaint jacuzzi for larger groups. At any rate, I was talking to one of the flight attendants who I have seen before on previous flights. He told me that Spirit was adding a direct from Orlando to Bogota daily as well as an Orlando to Medellin twice a week. The medellin route is supposed to be announced later this week. There is a God! I hope this is true. I got similar info on Jet Blue a few years ago, but they never pulled the trigger.

The flight attendance speculates that once Spirits starts going direct to Medellin, Jet Blue will follow. Jet Blue already flies direct from Orlando to BGT.

Great news for those of us in north and central Florida!

Got my ticket to Colombia for July and looking forward to reporting back. I am very excited!

A few questions please.

1) If Bogota is so much bigger and I have read in many places is a better place than Medellin for mongering why is this forum so much more active than the Bogota one?

2) There is a great Bogota FAQ. Is there an equivalent for Medellin?

3) I am going with mongering friend we planned to get an Airbnb but many Medellin Airbnbs say no guests or no turismo sexual in the rules and I have read that sometimes the owner is close by. Of course we would choose 4 person occupancy because we want to have chicas over so which makes it easier to have girls over an Airbnb that doesn't explicit restrictions or a hotel or only a explicitly girl friendly hotel?

4) With so many options for mongering is worth it to make a social media list of potential girls ahead of time? If so how does one find or add these girls having no connections and being in the USA?

Meanwhile MED will be 81/61. Also MED is 3 million+ people, Bogota is 6 million+.

Better weather, cheaper costs, better aesthetics. Medellin has about 3.7 million people; Bogota has about 10 million. Law of averages: more people, more hoes needed. Although I would say there are probably more "available" girls in Medellin, they just don't work out of venues. They're more freelancers / independents.

2. Scroll all the way down on the Colombia Thread and go to the Medellin Chica List. That's 50% of what you need.

My guess would only be that Bogota is 8000 ft+. That is getting kinda ridiculous. Medellin is at 5000 ft and is much more manageable, IMO. That is my single biggest reason for choosing MDE as my next shagcation spot. I can't speak to the quantities and prices of putas in Bogota yet cause I haven't researched it yet but MDE seems to be about 50 k to 150 k for some great chicas. I was planning on going in Sep-Nov and 2 weeks ago the prices were 550 $ but almost overnight they shot up to 750. I'm almost like fuck that and go to Thailand for that price (I've never been to Asia but shagged my fair share of Latinas already). I may just wait till after summer to buy tickets cause it seems tickets across the board have gone up even into next year just because we are currently in higher season. At 750 $ to get to MDE its getting nuts, I shoulda stayed in Miami I guess.

To Medellin (RT) in September anywhere from $480-$550. Check that site, they always have the lowest fares with different airlines.

If you look at flights on the same booking site multiple times from the same computer the prices go up each time.
