Welcome Thailand.
Not so sure for Austria. Let's see if Ferragosto party?
I manage easy at the moment, but I prefer to wait for Romanian beauties rather than Thai. If I can, meaning border is opened, I will go to Dolomiti on this Summer, for my real sport.

Welcome Thailand.
Not sure if Pattaya can be seen as an alternative to the mentioned European countries. Besides the looks of the WGs, there is quite a cultural difference. Me personally being not attracted by most of Asia.
In addition, I would not like to rely on health system and local authorities in Thailand in case a second or third wave of the epidemic.
Just my 2 cents.
Surely if this (hopefully worst) case scenario eventuates, then the clubs couldn't re-open for another two years, and hence realistically never re-open?
I still say Globe should disguise itself as a giant flower shop, which is legal. Girls would be dressed in nothing but garlands. There would be beauty contests. Who will be the rose of May? If you buy ten tulips at 1 franc each, you are entitled to a grope of whatever you uncovered. And if you buy a big bouquet for 140 SFr, who knows, the maiden might be so overjoyed she could even unfold her lower petals for you. That's nothing to sneeze at. Oh what a delight to gain access to that inner sanctum!
I read on swissinfo.ch that there will be another vote on September 27 to scrap the Free Movement of People agreement between the EU and Switzerland.
This was an issue voted on back in 2014, and has implications for Romanian WGs working in Swiss clubs like Globe. I recall Globe putting a halt on club improvements until this was resolved, as losing those girls would cripple the clubs. It seemed to get politically bogged down and shelved.
What do locals think may happen?
I fear given the economic impact of the current crisis there might be a tendency towards nationalism / controlling borders / curtailing immigration & foreign workers.
The vote was supposed to be held on the 17th of May, but it was postponed because of the Coronavirus; if it had not been for the virus, I do not believe that it had many chance to be approved. Here the people are conservative, but very pragmatic; till February the economy was going very well, with only a physiologic level of the unemployment and nobody would have run the risk of jeopardizing his / her good standard of living.
The unavoidable recession has changed the landscape and probably the initiative may have gained some traction.
Whatever, in the case the referendum is approved, it is in my opinion the end of Switzerland as a kind of escort paradise and it is very easy to foresee a big decline; the number of girls will be limited by law and there will be more bureaucracy, which means a shorter pipeline of talent, less girls in the clubs, less customers, less investment by the owner, less girls, less customers, with a negative loop difficult to stop. All Switzerland will probably align to the (low) quality level of the French cantons, where the local legislation puts a lot of obstacles and constraints.
Let's see what is the outcome and cross our fingers!
Romania is part of the EU which means all Romanians have freedom of movement within the EU. Almost every girl who works at Globe speaks decent English too. Any of the girls there could move to the UK or Ireland and get a hospitality job making EUR 1.5-2 k per month, a substantial increase compared to the EUR 600 per month that a person with a good education could earn in Bucharest (the capital). The reality is that most of the girls are too proud to do a proper job and feel entitled to money based on their looks. They want high end clothes, fancy holidays, a nice apartment and a new car back home without doing the hard work that the rest of us do. I feel little sympathy for these girls. My heart goes out to the girls in places like Thailand who live on a few bucks a day.
I do not believe that this is surprise; these girls makes this job because they can make more and quicker money than any other job, considering probably their level of education. They just behave as anybody else in the world.
A talented and beautiful girl can make in 5 years as much money as she could have made in her entire life with any other job suitable to her; then purchase a house or open a small business. Of course, a careless girl will squander all money in futile things, but it does not change the reality that escorting offers a lot of opportunities to wise girls willing to do do it; I have no reason to despise them or to judge their behavior.

1-in Thai buy a health insurance is cheap and the hospitals covered are at 90% of Italian nhs.
2-being a Italian citizen I m entitled a 0 health service in Swiss.
3-the reverse Swiss in Italy is entitled at all Italian nhs.
4- with Thai girls I don t talk about beauty contest, but about availability.
But Thai girls are sufficient beautiful and are more customer oriented than a Bucharest chick.
The vote was supposed to be held on the 17th of May ... Let's see what is the outcome and cross our fingers!
I recall last time when the Swiss approached the EU regarding ending the Free Movement of People agreement, the EU played hard-ball saying that free movement of people was a cornerstone of the EU, and without it they threatened to end or amend other CH / EU agreements which were vital to the Swiss economy. I think the Swiss government ended up introducing some rules favouring Swiss citizens over EU citizens when applying for jobs and left it at that.
So, maybe this barrier will appear again. Seems to me the Direct Democracy model can sometimes give the government the difficult task of making "popular" ideas a reality.
As Winston Churchill said: "The best argument against Democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter".

But if it is not, what is going to happen? We just get swiss girls working in globe? That is not bad thing.
I began mongering in switzerland actually back in year 1999 and back then there were quite many swiss white stunner, recently I never met any, but I am thankful to german white stunners that I still find in switzerland and Germany.
Now the Globe (sex or sex free) restaurant pop up has disappeared. No mention anywhere. Instead two amateurish banners saying that Palace and Swiss "BAR"(S) will reopen from 11/5 everyday from 8 pm on. No mention of Globe bar tho'.
But all shady. For now. Who lives on will see what happens next, everyday there is a change in Ingoland.
Most of Romanian girls trying a business at home, lose money.
Ahahah true.
According to the Federal Office for Public Health any type of prostitution, escort services etc are forbidden until 31 August. Before the summer vacation (July?) the situation will be evaluated and measures could be extended.
