Ley Seca coming up next weekend guys, because of the elections, no alcohol sales after midnight Fri June 29 till Sun July 1 at midnight, that's 48 hours no alcohol can be sold, either stock up beforehand, or hope they don't enforce the law everywhere.
Due to the upcoming election. Next weekend there will be no alcohol sales in Nuevo Laredo. Bars will close Friday the 29th at midnight and remain closed until Monday July 2nd. So if you were planning on coming down that weekend, you may want to reconsider your plans.

I prefer to not be directly involved in the acquisition or ingesting As we both know its the driving factor of motivation. I like having a good time and prefer not to compete with the draw it has over everyone. So I embrace it and it has substantially increased my quality of my visits. Blurring the lines of the us and them mentality has its advantages and rewards as well as risk. There are adventures to discover in and out of the confines of a hotel room.

Sorry if I sound like I'm repeating myself, but I want to make sure I'm asking the question to get in the right direction.
Monterrey is a bit of a stretch for my setting, but as far as border towns, I really am curious into tapping into scenario of reserving a cute willing civilian for the entire night.
Is there a right way wrong way to message girls on FB / IG saying "you seem like a civilian BUT if some extra spending money wouldn't hurt would you be up for an evento?" Or is this totally outlandish out of the question? Can it be done? Can I go in cold or do I have to know someone?
I want in on these "eventos" that was mentioned.
One example, a Twitter user who just went MIA listed a FB girl claiming she's good for 3 hours for 600 pesos. That FB account also went MIA, but tracked her family's likes and cross referenced to find the current FB profile the same girl now uses. What's an ideal approach to this debacle?

Which most people, myself included, seldom check. Also note, some girls use 2 FB accounts, I know one with 4. And. Photos of them on FB seldom look like the girl in question, heavy make up, camera angles, etc. But, yes, you can do it. But it won't be easy. I'll send you, via PM, a profile of one girl I know and you tell me what you think she looks like.
A few post back had the main bars closed and girl drinks outlawed. Where are the girls hanging out now? I thought about hanging out in the fiesta lobby to see how many girls pass by. They seem to like to chat with the check in guy.

Not many are going to pass by the Fiesta, there no where for them to go past that place. But you will see some trannies, as there is a gay bar just down Pino Suarez, close to the main drag. Once in a while you will see girls in the lobby of the Fiesta, and you can ask the check in guy if they are working, he knows them all, sees them come in with clients quite often.

What was mentioned a few message board threads back was, per federal ritual, the Friday and Saturday before the Mexico General Election all bars and clubs are closed and zero alcohol sales for 72 hours.
This is a one weekend every few years and not representative of every weekend in Mexico. It came. It went. Drink up.
I'm discreetly creeping around NL hookup groups on Facebook. The pickings on those are paltry, but I've cross referenced and saved up a link list of NL guys. Yes guys.
Dudes in NL on FB whose friends list is entirely made of young civilian women, not a single dude all chicks, a handful confirmed working talent. Surely if you go down the list bam bam bam bam of 500 girls at least one of them will have to be down, right?
Also one NL lady friend, one of her friends on FB I tried messaging two of her FB friends. Got called out both times. First girl my friend texts me "Dude she's like 15 you don't want that jail sentence! Then another girl my lady friend texts me "Dude not her! Her boyfriend finds out it's game over!" Fun times.

And it is true, girl's drinks, aka "ficha" drinks are outlawed, although some bars do allow them on the sly. When a girl discretely shows the waitperson an extended pinky finger, she is signaling for a "ficha" drink. A "ficha" referred to a chip or a ticket that was issued to the girls when you purchased an overpriced drink for her. She could later exchange that ficha for cash. Now the bars, that do allow it, pay her cash, discretely, on the spot, as was always the M. O. In the Herradura.

Many of those girls work for or have worked for the services. Send them friend requests, see how many respond and accept. There are a number of available girls downtown that cannot afford a smart phone and use the el cheapo kinds, they have no access to social media at all.
I had a visitor last week, a non-drinker impatient as hell, can't sit and chill, depends on his "regulars", that always disappoint, so next night he drives to Reynosa? You kidding me.
