The debate on the good looking girls is quite interesting.

Many mentions some gogo's at NEP have the best looking (underline: nice looking, not necessarily best performers as we know)

Spending some time at the rails of the two bars in the short alley opening into NEP will give a great parade of the girls BEFORE they get on duty.

I have see quite some beauties (in a way) inside the bars but seldom seen a stunner walking in.

Do they have a secret entrance? LOL

It is quite obivous thy don't, and that can only mean that they enter as nice and ordinary girls and transforms themselves into stunning girls.

my super figure slim girl at dollhouse (she is the only one of a kind) is a lot cheaper than that and is so good on the bed, that i simply have to keep going back. bfed her today before she got up to dance even once. the mama-san was a little peeved that i am stealing her girl with the best ass immediately. i never had to negotiate a price with her from memory, or maybe she mentioned an amount the very first time, i can't really remember for sure.

Many guys are seeing a very young girl with a good body nearly naked and calling her a stunner. They forgot to notice the face was just plain Jane. When you look at the girls entering they have clothes on and just the face is showing properly.

Lets be honest, there are very few stunners and they don't last. I believed that Suzi Wong had just one stunning girl that guys were falling over each other to get to. Yet to Thai people she is not stunning as skin is a bit too brown. Her performance on the bed is quite ordinary or less. Yet several guys are wanting to marry her. Probably gone now.

Many say that Baccara has stunners, but I go in there and fail to see those stunners. I see a lot of fake doll faces. I saw some pretty girls spoiled by silly cones. I did see a very pretty faced girl go into Shark today and another very pretty face Aom sitting outside at Long Gun. I think their are the odd "stunners" around but really not many.

The percentage of girls in Crazy House with silicones or nose job is not that high. I like to look at them dance naked.
In Baccara, so many are fake, that I largely don't like to look at them, and they tend to jiggle around stupidly as well where Crazy House girls dance better.

Each to their own. I know there are many guys around that like Baccara and the Japanese are picking girls so fake looking that they look like ladyboys.

Woops. I'm in Bangkok and my bank cards (both maestro) don't seem to work in any of the machines (even those that say that they accept maestro).

I'm not trying to draw above daily amounts either.

No panic at the moment. My hotel is pre paid for a few days and I had some cash to convert. But I was rather hoping to party a bit tonight and tomorrow.

Instead I am catching up on my work and sleep until I know I can replenish my cash reserves. Not the best way to spend one's first night in the LOS!

Don't cancel or postpone your trip!

At this point in time the protests are taking place well away from most areas popular with foreigners. Siam Square, Sukhumvit Road and Silom Road are all free of protesters. There has been the odd assembly around the Asoke skytrain station at lunch time but lasts no more than an hour.

The exception is the protesters' main occupation site at and around Democracy Monument which is close to Khao San Road. It remains business as usual at Khao San with everywhere open and operating as per normal. I imagine, however, that it might not be that easy to get a taxi from other parts of town to Khao San Road. Taxi drivers may be reluctant to venture to the area with some roads in the area closed as they are occupied by protesters, and a few roadblocks / checkpoints in place. If you're on a budget, it mightn't be a bad idea to consider staying in one of the other areas popular with budget travellers such as Soi Kasemsan 1, next to the National Stadium skytrain station where there are a handful of guesthouses.

For all visitors to Bangkok, it would be wise to avoid any protest groups or areas, should you happen to come across them. They aren't looking for trouble and foreigners will largely be invisible to them, but should the situation escalate with clashes between opposing groups then it could become a situation best avoided.

Come to Bangkok and you'll have a great time!

Also sometime your Bank's debit card put a hold, if the see fund withdrawn from ATM that is out of you country.

The last reports I read said there were significant drops in the number of protesters who continued to be peaceful. The US State Department was sending me daily updates which summarized the events and said there was no problem traveling to Thailand. As of a few days ago they stopped sending the updates. Apparently they don't think the situation is very serious.
