A newbie here. I need some detail quotes ($) and way to good anma around Kangnam area (stay Novotel).

Reading the postings and lost with some direction (2nd day visitor) and kinda budget 150K Won (i.e. no extra cash).

The place outside of Seoul is called Yong Ju Gol. That place is so tricky to find. It is around 40 kilometers north of Seoul. It is near a U.S. military base (I forgot the name of the base).

Yong Ju Gol used to be the best red light district but it has gone downhill. I do not recommend it. I prefer 588 and Miari.

If the Ajuma or girl grabs a Korean customer, 9 out of 10 times, he will yell back and say "NO!!! or LEAVE ME ALONE" in a very rude way. But since you remained calm, they were a bit surprised.

So this is what you can do to avoid the hassle from the ajuma and girls.

#1. Carry a business card of the establishment that you went to. When you arrive at Miari, call that number and tell the ajuma to come out and walk you to her establishment. So as you two walk along, nobody can touch you because they know that you are that ajuma's customer.

#2. That yogurt trick did not work for you because you had no scent from a girl and your ears were cold. Some girls or Ajuma's will grab your ear and if it is warm, that means you fucked a girl. If it is cold, then that means you have not yet fucked a girl.

Basically, #1 is your best method.

Again, do not worry about the police. It's just a PL stunt.

Please avoid such a place. Most of the girls are old and ugly. And the place is kept dark so that the girls do not look as ugly. They throw drinks at you and provide very little service. Basically, they will try and overcharge you for the drinks. Avoid them.

Well, did manage to visit another anma that charged 100K (behind Rennaisance hotel). Only can say "what you pay is what you get".
