But if we don't ban the origins of these viruses (like we are doing with banning travel from UK now) for a prolonged period, we will keep seeing more and more deadly pathogens coming out of the repeat offenders like China. We can debate how difficult that would be to the people there or people with business or relatives there, but that same logic of difficulty also goes with now banning people from UK.

At the end of the day, rest of the world needs to ban travels to and from China (and any country that allows travel to and from China) until they can prove their credibility by not starting another deadly pathogen for at least a decade. If we don't learn from the multiple horrible experiences like SERS, MERS, Covid-19, and be simply greedy to do business with them, but then end up losing our own life, businesses and locking down ourselves for years, we are simply big stupids who don't learn from the mistakes.

My argument is if it is OK to ban all people travelling from UK (a country made up of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland), what's wrong with banning all people travelling from Asia (particularly from the country China)?

Simply ban all flights and other entry points for a decade for people travelling from China (and for people from any other country that allows people traveling from China), if they don't start another deadly pathogen in that decade, then relax the bans. May have to extend this similar ban to people traveling from other Asian countries if any of them starts. You can keep arguing with me on these, but it's being super stupid not to learn after so many repeat offences (SERS, MERS, H1 N1, COVID-19) from the same region.

Do you even know how to read? Or you forgot what your mom taught you "think before speak"? I clearly said ban people from China now for a decade, and ban people from other countries who start another deadly pathogen or if they continue to allow travel to and from China.

Repeat offenders must be proactively handled or we will keep seeing pandemics every few years. If we don't ban the Chinese people now, we shouldn't blame them when the next Chinese deadly pathogen hits us, it's our fault of not taking the necessary steps proactively.
