AC has been a failing business model for a long time now. As the bright lights and fun places have been replaced with seedy bars there has been less and less political will to support it.

Essentially full prepayment. Unhappy and fewer guests. Less pretty girls. Less bright lights, party atmosphere and semi respectable appearance. Less support. A downward spiral.

[/QUOTE]No argument here, it used to be a fun town, now it's a shadow of its former glory. Coming to think of it, during my last visit (February) I did barhop and bought a few mamas drinks in exchange for some chismis about current state of affairs, but barfined exactly zero girls. All my romps were either sourced online or HiSo, which are the new fishponds, cutting out the middlemen. I also did a regular for a few days, but she appears to be tracking the AC quality index, so that was likely my last time with her.

But, Fields and especially Perimiter have been down for count before, and managed to swing back. We'll see.

I don't think it would be too hard to have a look around at the other successful monger areas or wider business world and emulate them. Jeez, Pattaya WS and Puket have litterally bus loads of tourist arrive to gawk and oooh and ayah at the bright lights and sights. The whole online world has moved to transparency of service and performance based pay structures. Pay what I ask, for an unknown service level, and fuck off if you don't like it is a receipe for disaster.

I for one am going to be extremely disappointed if things in AC don't return to normal. I've been going twice a year for 3 years now. If you have been a monger long enough we have all been caught off guard because most of these women are sweet and understanding and quite frankly just do their job. They work hard for the money they get and in my opinion deserve every penny. Every once in a while however you get a real "fake" gem that really spoils the lot.

I will sum up that video he went to the bars early after arriving at around 4 pm, so he killed some time before heading to the bars and some of them were closed or just opening. So he eventually made it to his favorite bar. He then proceeded to bar fine a girl that caught his eye now this is where the warning signs started but it seems like she had this down to a science, so she had on some old shoes so she wanted new ones. After she picked out the shoes she added some pants and other stuff from the store. He then asked how much it was and the shop owner said 1000 so he relented and paid for it. So now they were on the topic of food, she suggested a seafood restaurant. So they proceeded to go to a seafood restaurant and she ordered 6 crab and I imagine everything to go along with it, he said the bill came to 7500 which he pointed out was the same price as his airfare to AC LOL!. EDIT: i forgot to add that he didn't have the 7500 so he tried to pay with a credit card to which they refused and he had to use an ATM in a questionable area. Something also transpired at his hotel that i was unable to translate about a fee. So hes in about 8500+the bar fine at this point. She then suggests that she wants cake. He joking says she has two stomachs so she needed to fill the other one with cake. I don't know if he purchased the cake or not I assume so. She then says she just got a text that that her mom fell down and is in the hospital. She she says she needs money for the hospital bill. To which he tried to get out of paying, by saying he would accompany her to pay it. So by this time he just wants to get to the "deed" and get rid of her. So now they make their way to his hotel room. She then be-lines it to the mini fridge and starts to eat the chocolate bars. He then asks her to take a shower to which she refused, he proceed to take a shower and then went to the bed where I'm not sure if they had sex or not I couldn't catch that part but he said she was very unaccommodating and was complaining the whole time. He was contemplating going back to the shop and ask for a charge back, and funny enough he met another monger when he flew back to his home country who had been taken by the same girl and had the same experience. He also later found out that she got fired from that bar.

I know this forum usually is filled with "better than tho" bravado and how you would NEVER fall for these tricks.

But if you have been a monger for 10-20 years you will one day come across one girl that you just want to fuck especially if you have extremely blue balls. Don't underestimate how many IQ points you lose when you haven't had sex in a while by the time you are able to compute what is happening its over. And you will get too deep underwater doing it, and spending way more than she is worth. I have been victim maybe not to this extent but I have had my fare share of unsavory bar fines. How about you will you get a tad vulnerable during this lock down and share your worst bar fine experience?

One that always gets me is when 2 hot chicks seem to be into each other and I end up paying twice the bar fine for half ass service but it gets me almost every time. I am always expecting a hot lesbian show but get 2 girls on their cellphones and a huge let down not to mention twice the cost.

It is just what some hookers try and get away with (she learned it from "someone") you might be wizened enough to shut this kind of girl down before she gets started. I think you will find a lot of these guys here will not admit to the more egregious things they have done and I think that only serves to further exacerbate an underlying problem that they allow these girls to get away with such fuckery. He may be thinking that if he doesn't buy her 1000 php worth of clothes, she will walk away and his barfine will be a loss. He doesn't realize that he is thowing good money after bad. Do you honestly expect this board to accept that bar owners would risk the possibility of a long prison sentence and possibly lose his bar for good in order to hand a punter a refund for non performance which would be a 100% admission that he was a human trafficker dealing in prostitution, the mind boggles it really does.

I have written about specific experiences in years past where I got barfines back (or partial barfines) in both AC and Cebu. Admittedly those were unusual experiences, but they occurred. Alternately, instead of a refund, a mama or manager offered a different girl.

To agree with the other gents, certainly the OP confessing that he took the girl out of the bar for a long period of time (ie, drinks, dinner, shopping, etc) would most probably cause the manager to refuse the refund.
