Went to Caribe express in Chara micos to change money as the western union in town is closed. 45.80. On the way back stopped at Playero to buy a few food items hoping to be at lunch at one of the Italian places on the main street. All closed. I spent 5 days in Sosua, Dominican Republic (DR) recently, it has been on my todo list for a while. So, when my wingmen mentioned going to Sosua, I jumped. They were both Sosua veterans, so I hit the ground running thanks to them.

It ended up being more of a vacation than a mongering trip for me. The vast majority of the working girls I came across were overweight, not my cup of tea. Finding a slim girl was like looking for a needle in a haystack. I managed to find 4 over the course of 5 days. Yet, when I went to Buenos Aires (BA), Argentina back in 2011, and I was quickly disillusioned with Argentinean working girls, I was more impressed with DR girls working there. This time, the few attractive girls I saw were civies at the beach. I struck up a conversation with one of them but she was with her family and nothing came out of it. Some working girls, from Haiti, were even aggressive, in asking for drinks and tips with nothing in return.

However, it was a nice relaxing vacation. DR is at the southern tip of Cuba, next door to Haiti and fairly close to Puerto Rico. Hence, this felt like a Caribbean vacation. The people were very friendly and nice, smiling the whole time. The food was excellent and they have 2 nice beaches. We spent 3 or 4 hours at the beach every day. But boy, folks are noisy there. They do everything in a loud way, talk loud, play music loud, but still friendly. I did not see beggars on the street, only kids selling fruits.

Overview.

My first mongering trip to Sosua in late May and early June 2016 revealed to me why this forum bears the name "Take Me Back to Sosua. " I appreciated it more than my first Latin American mongering trip last year to San Jose, Costa Rica, both during the trip itself and in retrospect. I thus plan to return to Sosua in the future. There were, however, a few aspects of SJO that I preferred, and having the prior SJO experience under my belt definitely enabled me to get more out of my Sosua experience. The success of this mongering trip inspired me to begin planning my next one: Colombia (MDE and CTG).

New Garden.

I stayed at New Garden, believing that it would be the best place to stay on a first trip to Sosua. My research led me to believe that NG was the Sosua counterpart of the Del Rey in SJO, and in this sense NG was the only major disappointment of my trip.

I knew that it was the slow season and adjusted my expectations accordingly, but there is a difference between slow and dead. On many occasions, there was not a single chica in sight, or the only chicas in sight were guests of other mongers. It picked up a bit toward the end of my trip, but even then the selection of only a handful of chicas was too small to find what I wanted. I only pulled one chica from NG. In the hour before I checked out and left for the airport, when I needed a quick and convenient knob polishing. NG also did not impress me as a hotel in general. For my next trip, I will try the other hotels down the street.

Statistics.

In seven days, I did 11 different chicas in 12 sessions, two of which were 3-leche TLNs with the same chica, who was my favorite. All of the other sessions were one-leche STs, except for one ST that yielded two leches. I pulled two other chicas that were also keepers and with whom I wished that I could have repeated, or to whom (in retrospect) I should have proposed extending our originally planned STs into TLNs. Of the remaining eight chicas, six were good enough to tip, but not compelling enough to repeat when there were so many other fish in the sea and I only had a week to catch them. There were two other chicas that I regret choosing in retrospect, but they still got the job done. I also pulled a 12th chica who later demanded payment in advance, prompting us to abort the session.

Observations.

I found the Del Rey chicas to be more visually appealing than their Sosua counterparts when I initially spotted them, only to find that more than a few of the the Del Rey chicas did not look as good naked. In contrast, there was a lower proportion of chicas in Sosua that caught my eye, but only one of them disappointed me once she got naked. Perhaps the hotter Sosua climate encourages a style of dress that leaves less to the imagination. I also found that the Sosua chicas had better erotic skills than their SJO counterparts – particularly the former's use of the "cocomordan" pussy-clenching technique. In Sosua, I received a lot more full service and a lot less oral service than I normally would, due to the combination of the Dominican chicas' great booties and the cocomordan technique of many of them.

I did, however, find it a bit harder to converse with many of the Sosua chicas and get to know them. Some of this difficulty may have been due to the physical environment or the peculiarities of the Dominican dialect of Spanish, but I also have to wonder to what if any extent the lower level of education and development in the DR (compared to CR) may have contributed to this difficulty as well.

By the same token, Costa Rican chicas seemed more enterprising and business-like than their Dominican counterparts, which may be why I preferred the latter at the end of the day (and why all but one of my favorite chicas in Costa Rica were foreigners). The Del Rey chicas were often quite aggressive, and I had to spend a lot of time and energy fending off approaches from ones that did not interest me. The Sosua chicas struck me as much more passive, although that did come with the slight downside of having to do more work to approach and engage those that did interest me. Most of the Sosua chicas also did not negotiate as hard. Some of them did not even quote me an opening price but instead asked me to name my price, which all of those chicas accepted.

I pulled most of my chicas from Rumba and only two from Classico, mostly due to timing; by the (later) time that the action at Classico had kicked off, I was either too tired or had already found what I wanted for the night at Rumba (I like to start my mongering early in the evening). I found it easier to spot, approach, and engage chicas at Rumba than I did at Classico because Rumba had more space and less noise, although the poor lighting often made it harder to see them, and the heat and the lack of air conditioning did not help either. IMHO, the air conditioning and better lighting of Classico were its most notable advantages, although they came at the cost of a cover charge and more expensive drinks. I also noticed that chicas asked for higher prices at Classico, and I found it harder to approach and screen them there because of the noise and overcrowding. I preferred the physical environment of the Del Rey in SJO, where you could spot, approach, and engage chicas in a spacious, better-lit, and air-conditioned environment and bring them up to your room without having to leave the premises.

Another aspect of SJO that I preferred to that of Sosua was the daytime scene. SJO has some good daytime casas and a reasonable afternoon selection at the Del Rey. I had read about the Sosua "suck shacks" on this forum beforehand, but neither the business model nor the women offering massages to passers-by appealed to me. Plus, Dominican chicas have such phenomenal booties that I wanted to save my leche for banging them instead of blowjobs. It was also a bit hot to walk around on the beach or on the main Pedro Clisante strip during the day, and the smaller selection of daytime beach walkers and streetwalkers that I did see did not appeal to me as much as the wider selection of chicas available at night, so I figured that I was better off conserving my money and my leche for the nighttime.

Highlights.

My favorite chica had silky-smooth, medium-chocolate skin, abundant tits & ass, and a face slightly resembling that of Sanaa Lathan. She said that she was a student and only came from her small town to work in Sosua on weekends, although I saw her there all week. (Hmmm.) We exchanged smiles repeatedly from a few tables away on a slow Monday evening at Rumba, after which she playfully threw a napkin at me, which I playfully threw back at her. I invited her over, and before long I was walking her back to NG. We had originally agreed upon a ST, but after my second leche in less than an hour, it became clear to me that she was a keeper, and I proposed extending our session into a TLN, to which she agreed. She had the best cocomordan, the best BBBJ, and the best GFE of all the chicas that I met. The first time that she did cocomordan on me, I moaned so loudly that they must have heard me all the way over at Rumba.

I know that she was unhappy about seeing me pull another chica on another night between our first and second TLNs, because she mentioned it when we finally did have our second TLN on my last night. She also indicated that she did not want me to return to Sosua for my DR next trip, but instead wanted me to visit her small town, because there were so many competing chicas in Sosua. Her GFE was weak the second time around, perhaps because of her jealousy and territoriality, but she was still the best in the sack of all 11 chicas I had, and I would still repeat again for that reason and her awesome body.

The runner-up was the hottest chica (in purely physical and visual terms) that I pulled during the trip. She was also good in the sack, had one of the warmest and wettest pussies I have encountered in quite a while, and also struck me as a nice girl in general. We had initially exchanged smiles at Classico the night before our eventual session, but she later explained that she had not proceeded further at that time because another chica (the Sanaa Lathan lookalike, perhaps?) had evidently marked me as her territory. She nonetheless approached me the next evening at Rumba, telling me that I was handsome and quoting me a TLN rate that was a notch below market. In retrospect, I should have taken her up on her generous TLN offer, either at first or after our ST had initially proven successful, but I was trying to limit my TLNs and was also a bit suspicious of the combination of her forward approach, her strong preference for a TLN over a ST, and her surprisingly low TLN rate. I have been kicking myself ever since, because the chica that I chose for my second ST that night turned out to be a regrettable choice. I am still scratching my head as to why this tall chica offered a below-market TLN rate, as she was quite attractive and it was not a slow night or time, and the cynical monger in me is reluctant to take her compliments at face value and believe that she genuinely found me attractive. In any event, this chica was quite good in the sack, and she either came or did a convincing job of faking it. She also delivered a good BBBJCIM finish, which seems harder to come by in Sosua. She might not be working in Sosua for much longer, as she claimed that she was only working there short-term to raise capital with which to start her own business.

Lowlights.

The worst chica caught my eye at Rumba because she looked different. It turned out that she was Venezuelan (I saw her passport) and claimed to have arrived in Sosua that day (I did not have the opportunity to look for her entry stamp). She initially gave me the impression that she was an unusually and genuinely nice girl, perhaps a bit naive and new to the game, and that she was unfamiliar with how P4 P worked in Sosua. She asked me to name my price, which I did (a fair market rate), and she accepted it. We got back to the hotel, undressed, and just as we were about to get down to business, she said "Where's my money, baby?" in almost perfect English (our entire conversation up to this point had been in Spanish). I explained to her that it was standard in Sosua and elsewhere to pay afterward, not in advance, to which she responded that it was standard in Sosua and elsewhere to pay in advance. The contradiction between this claim and her earlier claim to be unfamiliar with P4P in Sosua evidently did not deter her from stating such a bald-faced lie. It became painfully obvious to me that she was a seasoned pro posing as a newbie, having been around the block enough to realize that many gringo mongers prefer fresh meat to seasoned pros. She must have thought that her nice girl act would be powerful enough to cloud my judgment – it was not. We aborted the session and she left empty-handed.

The worst session that actually did occur was on a slow Sunday night with a minimal selection, and this chica was the only one at Rumba that appealed to me. She quoted me an outrageously high rate for a ST session – twice the fair rate, and a notch below the fair rate for a TLN. I negotiated her down to a rate that was still a notch higher than my target rate but that I was still willing to accept, given the lack of appealing alternatives and her general hotness, which was probably why she asked for such a high rate. She probably gets by on her looks alone, as the service was poor, and she did little to conceal her evident distaste for me. She kept nagging me about how I only had 1 hour to finish, even when we were only 10-15 minutes into the session. It took a bit longer than usual for me to leche due to her weak performance and her repeated nagging. I paid her the rate that we had negotiated and did not tip her. She did not even ask for a tip, so she probably realized that her service sucked.

The second-worst session went OK until I paid her after we had finished. I paid her the rate we had negotiated beforehand, plus a tip of 500 pesos. She then asked for a tip, to which I responded that the amount that I had just given her included her 500 peso tip. She then falsely claimed that we had agreed to a rate that was 500 pesos higher than the rate upon which we had actually agreed and thus wanted another 500 pesos as a tip. I stood firm as she persisted in her false claim, and I finally got her to drop it by picking up the phone and pretending to call security, at which point she visibly realized that her lie was not going to work and immediately left without any more money than what I had already paid her. In retrospect, I realized that this chica was just trying to undo our prior negotiations and walk away with the amount that she had originally quoted in the first place, which was above the fair market rate by 1,000 pesos. I could tell that she was not happy to accept this fair market rate, and in retrospect perhaps I should have aborted when I saw her reaction.

The lesson that I learned from the two sessions above is that it may not be a good idea to negotiate a chica's rates too far below the rate that she originally quotes. If she quotes too high of rate at the beginning (1,000 pesos or more above fair market rates), then it might be better to move on to the next chica, rather than trying to negotiate her so far down from what she really wants. Either she won't accept a fair market rate, or she will accept it and either give you bad service or try to milk you for more money to get what she originally wanted.

Other Chicas.

- My first pull was a cute, baby-faced, light-skinned blonde who was just slightly gordita enough to have serious tits & ass, but not so much that it made her unattractive or harder to bang. She demonstrated some solid cocomordan skills and kept going at it even well after I had come.

Non-mongering activities.

I had planned this trip expecting that there would not be many non-mongering things to do during the day, but the non-mongering side activities that I found pleasantly surprised me. The best was scuba diving; I took my first introductory scuba dive off the shore of Sosua with the Merlin Dive Center, which is near the entrance to the beach. I had originally planned to do this just to remove an item from my bucket list, but the experience made me want to do more of it on future trips to Sosua or other destinations.

I also knocked two other items off my bucket list: saltwater fishing and zip-lining. I got a solo spot on a saltwater fishing trip off the shore of Sosua through Mel's Tours, which was a good find because most companies that offer such trips want you to pay $500-600 to charter a boat for 4-6 people and do not let you book individually (I shared the boat with two other guys who had booked separately). I also did zip-lining at Monkey Jungle; I had thought about doing that in the jungle in Costa Rica but felt more comfortable trying it for the first time in a more controlled environment here (it is more of a park, despite its name). It was also fun to feed the monkeys that they have there and have them climb all over you. I also went to Ocean World, which was OK but might have been better if I had opted for swimming with the dolphins or sharks that they have there.
