Had my maiden trip to Pattaya on last week of Aug (I know its a month late).

Stayed in Pattaya Blue Sky hotel, very good choice. Nice location near to beach and Soi6.

Day 1: Got ample rest in the morning hours, had nice lunch. Got a very good oil massage on the second road, 100 m from the hotel in the afternoon. Headed to Soi6 around 9 pm, walked back and forth to get a good look at the talent available. I have to admit that it is a different experience altogether (little intimidating as well, to see so many girls with singular objective). Never experienced this before (traveled Malaysia, USA, Vietnam, Indonesia). Casually stopped at Lust bar and I don't know how it happened but one petite lady held my hand as if I know her already and took me inside the bar. Did not really get a chance to react. Decided to go with the flow. She is 21, average looking, very friendly (big plus), no English at all. Got her couple of drinks, she gave a nice lap dance. Headed to short time with her after couple of drinks. Had very nice time with her. Came out of the bar around 12 midnight and decided to sleep for the rest of the night but got pulled into red-point bar by a cutie. She is 24, little chubbier but very cute face (I have a thing for cute face, can compromise a lot for this). Started having drinks with her, she is not shy at all, asked if I need BJ or not. I obliged after couple of drinks and had a good time with her. Got this girls number before leaving the bar. Prices are same as what is already covered in this forum (ST 1000 + barfine around 300/350 + drinks if any).

Day 2: Around 3 pm in the afternoon, cutie from red-point bar messaged "Hi". I asked if she can come over to the hotel. Surprisingly, she agreed and came to hotel in 30 minutes. She became much more friendly this time and spent 3 hours with me. Paid 2500 for her time (she did not quote any price). After she left, got another nice oil massage at the same place on second road. Chose the same girl (from Cambodia) but got much better massage this time (maybe, previous tip of 100 be helped). Her English is good to keep a conversation, she suggested places to see, 808 club etc. Noted them down to try later. Watched the Tiffany show (last show of the day) - it is a very different experience. Felt tired and slept around 11 pm.

Day 3: Went to coral islands in the day time, it is indeed crowded as noted in the online forums. Liked the scenic beach. Back to Soi6 around 9 pm. While walking, same girl at Lust bar caught hold of me and I obliged out of politeness (newbie, still learning). After couple of drinks, she asked if I want her for long time and I politely told no, atleast I thought so. But when the bill came, I realized she added the LT bar fine and went inside to change the dress, Once again I decided to go with the flow. Afterall, I was there for having a good time. Walked to hotel, showered together, had a crazy session for an hour. Went to dinner together, walked on the beach road, I tried to have a conversion but no success because of my non-existent Thai. Went back to hotel, had another great session and slept in each other's arms. She left around 9 am in the morning.

Day 4: Finally, decided to try the world famous Walking Street. Oh, boy, it is an Adult Disney land. I decided to do gogo-bar hopping. Had drinks at Palace, SugarBaby, Atlantis, Sensations. Spent more than 5 hours in these bars, lost count of the beers / tequila shots. Except Palace agogo, rest of the places are not crowded. Too much of selection for a sex-starved person like me. Girls are very friendly as long as drinks are flowing. As expected, SugarBaby had couple of girls dancing without clothes, bathtub where few girls took turns to take shower. Had to end this crazy night around 3 am, wallet felt lighter by 12000 b.

Day 5: Directly went to Sugarbaby, around 10 pm to barfine a girl. Had couple of drinks, bought drinks for few girls to test their attitude. One of them clicked. She is cute, short hair. Asked Mamasan for LT barfine, 1000 be + 4000 be for the girl. Enjoyed the rest of the night. She left around 6 am.

Day 6: Sugarbaby again. Same girl, could not resist.

Day 7: Walked around couple of gogo bars, I saw one fair, tall girl walking into Sugarbaby. Followed her and asked Mamasan (I know them well now due to two prior visits). Barfined her LT (1 k + 4 k for the girl) - best thing that I did, she is a white tiger with pink nipples. Friendly girl, little English and not much conversation happened anyway during the night.

Overall, had an amazing trip. I was always skeptical about visiting Pattaya for various reasons like racism (I am an Indian), too touristy etc. But I don't feel like that anymore. I did not feel any racism. No one stopped me from entering any bar. Girls surrounded and pushed for drinks as expected. Planning for another trip in mid-October.

Just some advice to a newbie Pattaya guy. Don't fall in to the trap of getting hooked on a single girl or bar. Try out all the bars and many more girls. If you still like the original girl after that then you can go back to her.

About 10 years ago I stayed in an upscale resort type hotel near the waterfront and within a few blocks of Walking street. I liked the semi quiet location away from the hustle of WS.

Can't remember the name of the place, but think it might have been a Marriott. Nice small pool and lush tropical gardens. Multilevel but probably not more than 5 or 6 floors.

Anyone help me out here? Would like to return. I like the look of Royal Wing Suites and Spa which is rated #1 on Tripadvisor, but it seems a little far from Walking street. No problem with cost.

Xdentx, wrong forum but there really are no luxury hotels near Walking Street. I'm guessing that you are referring to Siam Bayshore Resort but I'm certain that has aged since 10 years ago.

Royal Wing Suites is very nice so are Royal Cliff and Intercontinental nearby. All in Pratumnak Hill so taxi is needed but since it doesn't appear you are on a budget taxi fare should not affect your decision. Those pratumnak hill hotels are less than 10 minutes from Walking Street. In pattaya itself there is Dusit Thani on the baht bus route. A favorite of guys on here and within walking distance to Walking Street is Baraquda on Second Road. No where near the class of the other listed hotels but a nice hotel conveniently located for Walking street, LK metro, soi 6,etc.

Went to Pattaya first time in 2012. Soi 6 used to be mainly a day time BJ thing. Also picked up a few beach road gals usually as a precursor to the evening in WS. Evenings were spent on walking street, picked up a real early 20's stunner from one of the beer bars on WS who I used to hang out late evening-night for the remainder of my stay, about 4 days (was there for a week). She was supposedly recently (a month or so) arrived from Isaan. She was never greedy and always the lady! She asked me to take her shopping once but she only bought one dress! I did pay her every time but do not recall now how much. One evening she asked me to take her to Baccara since she had never been there and neither had I so we went. While we were going in she was having some conversation with the Thai door guy. Later she tells me that she was asking him how many times I have come there, but the guy told her that Indians are discouraged. And she showed some disapproval about that at least in front of me. Anyways we had a few drinks and then left. I did go to another go-go bar the next day (don't remember the name) and the guy at the entrance was starting to say something so I just told him I'm from the US and he waved me in, maybe a slow evening for them, I could care less. Usually now I mainly stay in BKK, just like the food and the scene better. Also never had a problem getting into any club or bar in BKK so far.

However, I did visit Pattaya again during Songkran five years later in 2017. First night, I went to the I-bar disco or whatever it is called. Got a drink and was trying to find a table. It was crowded as hell. I see this girl keep staring at me from a table as I walked by. She was with another girl and two guys. Suddenly she left the table and came and hugged me. Guess what she turned out to be the same gal who I had taken shopping and Bacarra etc and spent four nights with her, 5 years ago. Apparently, she was now a seasoned pro WG at the disco. But five years had taken a toll and she was a ghost of her former self with a lot of make up etc. But still okay attractive. I did end up going with her for a couple of nights but that was it. I moved on although she did want to hang out me for the rest of my stay. I believe that back in 2012 she was excellent material for long term hook ups but now all this time in Pattaya had done a real number on her. Felt a little sad for her though, she was still a good girl although bereft of her early innocence.

It's supposedly not girl friendly, but there is a way around that. I've stayed and taken girls back, no problem. But you have to know your way around that resort and avoid the night security and front desk. I'm just wondering why the poster did Google this up?

However this hotel is now called Avani and it's not girl friendly anymore.

I think it was last year (or the year before that) I went in search of a particular girl at Wildcats who was described by an another BM. The weekend warriors would still come because they may have concentrated fun on a 5 day getaway as opposed to an all summer long budget trip.

Most of you must be following several Gogo Bar pages on FB. They give you a reasonable sense of what to expect inside their bar. Most use broke backpackers to shoot a few pics in exchange for a couple of thousand baht while some use a real pro. Some honestly mention that the pics are from an archive and may not represent the actual girls they have on stock currently. Most others prefer to stay silent. Nearly none openly state that they also entertain LBs in their line ups. Some bars are known to openly do it, while the more premium ones tend to toe a strict line. The way it should be (no offense to the LGBT activists, I have my preferences as do they).

Now look at these 2 pics. I am having a hard time telling myself these are really girls. And this is Sapphire, where I know the folks. So I find it really strange. Any thoughts from visitors more frequent than me?
