Greetings fellow mongers.
I will be in AC in a few days, and I am hoping someone can direct me to a pharmacy which sells apcalis, the generic version of Cialis.
I need quite substantial quantities for medical reasons in Oz, where Cialis is beyond my means.
Any ideas?
Thanks in anticipation.

Both have locations everywhere. Generally, you won't need a prescription from a doctor. Make sure you have the complete drug name, dosage and other details.
You might find medicines a tad bit expensive here ---pharmacies charge here per pill and also most medicines are imported from somewhere else, so expect to pay.
If you need suggestions on cheap meds, PM, I can give you details on nearby countries where you can find what you want at a much lower price (the charge is not per pill).
Hello,
Does anyone have a name and phone number for a reliable driver who can get me from Manila domestic terminal to AC for a reasonable price in reasonable comfort. My regular contact seems to have disappeared.
Happy mongering

Not sure how much you were paying but you can get a car from Margarita Station or Pacific Breeze for 2500p. Very reliable in my experience.

Hi,
I would rather get a driver from a reliable hotel in Ac, which is either Swiss chalet , Central park, orchid inn, Pacific breeze.
I tried them all, and they save and relaible drivers. I would rather take them then any taxi driver. Price is 2500 up to 3000p.
Just do the google and send them email with your contact details and arrival dates.
Welcome to the Phils :D

Gangles
Here's a method that is simple, and almost as quick as a taxi but MUCH less expensive
1) Take metered taxi from airport to 5 Star Bus Station in Pasay (around 100 pesos)
2) Take bus to Dau (the Dagupan bus - around 145 pesos)
3) Once in Dau, take trike to your hotel (usually around 70 pesos)
It'll take you about 1 1/2 - 2 hours - depending on how fast the bus leaves - and costs about 300 pesos. Why waste the money on a private taxi. You're saving more than the cost of a barfine!

EA:
sure, that works perfectly! However, if you arrive at NAIA late at night and with heavy luggage I would rather discourage anybody to opt for this variant. In this case a car with driver for about 2,500 pesos is certainly the more adequate solution. IMHO of course!
Cheers!

Cheap OK, but not cheapest. Here is the ultimate Cheap Charlie:
1) Take a bus from Mia to Pasay (around 12 pesos)
2) Take a bus to Dau (non-aircon: about 100+, splurge: aircon P 130+)
3) Once in Dau grab your bags and walk a few yards to McArthur Hwy, take a jeepney from there, 8 pesos.
When you walk the last part from jeepney drop-off to your selected hotel (probably Wobbly House or similar property), try to do some multitasking bags in hand and pick a FL to bring with you to checkin. Voila, you have saved your first barfine too :D

hahahaha....
actually there is another option, stay at home..if you allready concerned about the costs for transportation to AC and back, better stay at home , cause with all the things and more money demands in terms of LD, barfine and more money to spend on the better looking gurls, 2500p for transportation shouldnt be a big deal for guys with a 2 week holiday, once or twice a year..
Flame me if I might be wrong :D

I arrived in Angeles last night. I am staying at the Ramada 1000p after staying at the Bangkok hotel for 1450p. This is my first time in Angeles and would enjoy chatting with another monger if anyone is around. PM me for my phone number. I will be here for about two weeks before returning to the US.

I appreciate all points of view. I am 57 years old and still enjoy doing things the hard way. I wish I had known about the bus yesterday. I ended up taking a car from Manila to Angeles for 3000p. Sometimes you do things for the experience.... I know my buddies think I am a little off. Many think we are crazy for hiking 1400 ft peaks in Colorado or jumping out of airplanes.
I will take the bus back in two weeks. Does anyone know if I can purchase a calling card for my mobile to call the states cheaply? I was able to call from Thailand for like 2 cents per minute.

Blink
Like I have said over and over most talk about the vast and endless wealth they have and then worry about the cost of a bus, car, trike, bike, ride anywhere they go. IT IS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA TO CHECK PRICES, IT KEEP'S THE LOCALS IN LINE, BUT PLEASE REMEMBER THEY ARE PAYING RECORD HIGH FUEL PRICES HERE ALSO.
I am sure the 3-4-k peso ride from manila to ac is much cheeper than what you pay at home from the airport to your house. Its a vacation you gotta spend some to have a good time!
Nice to see someone else has a problem with the carepots here.
