I've been reading these reports lately and liking what I see, but is there anything else to do there? Salvador looks perfect in terms of proximity to the US, but I like to do some touristy things when traveling. The maps show the beaches not far away from the city, anyone been recently?
I use to go to the Las Vegas club. First time was in 2005 and the last time was in 2023. When I went back in 2024, it appeared to be closed. This club is about three blocks from the Cathedral. Not sure of the streets but it is close to the Panamerican Hotel. Here I are some pictures of it. One from when it was clearly open in 202 e and one from when it appeared to be closed. Can anyone confirm if it is open or closed? Always liked that place. Seedy but the girls were fun.
There last post was 2024.

Some of these things are outside the city, so they will require day trips or overnights. I've noticed a lot of women live in Santa Ana. That might be a town to check out. Plenty of civilian chicks on bumble or tinder will spend time with you exploring the city, if that's your thing. Only thing that sucks so far is the traffic. Horrible. Even on weekends. But almost non existent in the evening.

I jumped around last night ight. Started at the mall and had a nice dinner at Tucson steakhouse. Was hoping for a lively crowd with a good mix of women, but that wasn't the case.
After that I hopped to Birrateca, across the street. Get a table on the outside patio and enjoy the scenery. All local people and some.
Serious eye candy. Best to have a wingman.
After that I went to Bunker Bar. It's a "hostess" kinda place in Zona Rosa. I was hoping for some independent girls, but didn't see much. It was all dudes and smoky in the disco "area". Hard pass.
Cocktails and Dreams was the next stop. Here are my notes:
Bigger than expected. One long stage. Didn't have consistent girls dancing. I think this place lives and dies based on large groups staying at intercontinental.
$10 entry for beer and a dance.
Friendly employees.
Nikki approached me. Slender but stunk. Arm pit and ass.
Mamasan Bothering quick for lady drinks while seated and then again during free dance time for upgrade to vip experience.
Room was pretty bright but I'm sure that could be fixed. Looks like they have two of these small rooms and no other options.
Maybe 6 girls at 12:30 on Saturday night. Only 1 looked good to me (picky).
Hated how loud it is. Can't talk or be heard.
Girls doing there dances on stage get full nude for maybe 10 seconds before they walk off stage.
I asked Nikki what the dance prices are and she said 1 hour $125 and there are no other options. I rolled my eyes and left after that.
-Uber works fine here. Just be patient as traffic is horrible and only bound to get worse.
-Plenty of thicker women on the dating apps. You'll get plenty of attention. But even when you think you've found one that's not so thick, you'll realize she's using old pictures.
-Tipping is a waste of time. It's not part of the culture and won't get you any better service in any type of establishment.
-Where to stay:
Grand Via, Multiplaza, and Cascades malls are all next to each other and that's where the pretty civilian chicks are. I would recommend staying there over Zona Rosa. Now, if you're going for more of the naughty stuff, just stay up in the El Escalóand area.
-Many tourist spots were closed for maintenance. Check google reviews.
-Nightlife is very quiet in January due to most people not having money after Christmas spending. Something I was told by a local chica.
-I Never felt unsafe. Not once.
-Never saw or used any local currency. (Colone).
-Avenida independcia and Juan Pablo.
(Calle Castillo) has a run of chicks hanging out in the doorways for rooms they pay for. All thick women and I didn't stop to ask for prices but if that's your cheap Charlie thing, that's where you go. I just happened to stumble on it. Seemed kinda shady and I just strolled through in the day, night would surely be worse.

Went to Rolex next night about 9:30 pm. 10 entry gets you a beer and they did not ask for ID that night as per the other gentleman's report. Nice looking club and about 10 girls. Total nude dancing on small stage. I am picky and only like slim pretty girls. Honestly half (5) of the girls working were smoking hot. I only saw 1 chunky one that I would not touch and the remaining 4 were passable depending on your taste.
