I thought the purpose of this forum is to share information. Not brag about individual escapades. Day by day, this forum is turning into a set of snobbish seniors bragging about what they did and treating new members like some dirty flies.

First, you expect the people to get PM facility by paying. (Money is not the issue, your identity is the issue).

Then, you expect the people to build credibility before sharing information! WTF? .

I have been a silent reader of all the posts. But I felt the need to speak out at this discrimination.

My advice to all the new bies. Don't get frustrated by people not providing contacts. This will never work out in a way. Go out and explore on your own. Auto drivers around MG road are your best bet. MG Road pubs are your best bet. Try "Oxygen", Try "Brigade Gardens". And Keep trying. I am sure you will succeed.

I have always got a nice lay whenever I wanted. Not by some senior's help. There is a lot of treasure willing to show itself to people.

Build credibility by posting information. The information posted has to be solid and not just one liners. One libyou do not pay the subscription money, then your PM becomes active only when you become a senior member. Foe that the qualification is both conditions of six months of membership (you became member in 2004, so that is fine) and ners will build your post count but not your credibility.

You do not see any of the private messages that some of us share with newbies (even with zero postings) trying to help them out. The only thing that anyone here should be wary about is the potential for contacts to be ruined by some careless action of someone you share the number with. The most common reasons that contacts often complain to me are rude behavior and haggling on price.

Vinay Sharma already has a private message from me, which I hope he finds helpful. But you do not see that, when you write WTF, right?

On a sober note, minus PM facility and, in some cases, credible reports, the chances of landing contacts are somewhat slim. But then that's my opinion.

Having said that, I still think that some process needs to be put in place to provide contacts to newer members other than waiting them to report out their experiences and build credibility.

It will be a classic case of Chicken and Egg and may end up with Newbies posting bogus reports.

How do we ensure that we pass on the contacts to a genuine person who will make proper use of it? .

Regarding the confidentiality of it, I am still little concerned. I don't want to use credit card. As I understand, The way of sending Money order/transfer will not be applicable. How does a newbie get PM in complete confidentiality?

I agree with coolbengalur that it is a chicken and egg problem.

I guess that the seniors could hand out locations and contacts of reliable MP's to help newbies build a reputation. Also, of reliable pimps who advertise online or in newspapers. Since these pimps and mp's advertise openly, they will be prepared to handle any client that shows up. I don't even see it as giving out contacts. Its more like recommending pimps/MP.

Of course, seniors may feel that recommending mp's and pimps who advertise may hurt the seniors themselves because increase in number of clients may drive up prices or reduce availability of girls at that pimp/MP. However, recommending good mp/pimps will drive the bad ones out of business soon and help the good ones expand business, thus improving the entire mongering scene.

Disclaimer: the above is an market-theory based analysis of the problem. Some seniors may already be helping newbies with the above "recommendations" and I may be totally unaware of it, since I am a newbie myself.

You have PM, so people like you would probably be contacting senior mongers in the city of your interest, asking for help or suggestions. Most seniors would try and reply if the request is reasonable enough, and would provide advice and leads. Many who have contacted me know that. Without private messaging there is very little specific information that could be shared within the forum rules and information about MPs and similar sources of supply (to use a market-theory term) is already available on the threads. So do some hard work before you get hard.

Here is my $0.02 on this topic

In my view, this is like learning how to swim. You don't usually dive straight into the deep end. You would start in the learners pool, gain experience and then work your way into the deep end (eventually becoming Micheal Phelps).

The learners pool would be the experiences you can get on the publicly advertised massage places, which are widely seen in the press and internet. Not difficult to find. You build experiences, credibility and knowledge on how things work. This helps the seniors know that passing on contacts will not result in irresponsible use of those phone numbers (we have seen a few examples of this recently in some of the India threads).

As for your point about Bogus reports - may be true. However, I think there is enough experience from many of the members on this board to be able to see through any BS. The way these things work is in a certain way, and someone who does not have any experience will probably get caught out when it comes to the details.

Coolbengalur - I am slightly surprised by your point about security. Of course, any activity of this nature is a risk. Even if a senior was to give you a number, dialing that number, talking to the person, arranging a meeting are all risks that need to be taken. Likewise, punching in your credit card may be considered a risk (despite Mr. Jackson and many Senior's assurances) - but it is a minor risk considered to the next steps that would need to be taken!

Frankly, the "risk" issue, when it comes to mongering, seems to be more of a concern in India, since I did not find anyone talk about risks when it related to mongering activity anywhere in Europe or in Asian places like Singapore. Your compatriot Gautama, the Enlightened One, said that one should NOT do anything in thought, word or deed which causes guilt. So, disclosing your name and billing detail to a charity that collects your funds for the ISG subscription would not be a cause for any guilt, would it? On top of that, all reference to your name and billing address is erased from the ISG servers soon after the money is realized, and the "username" you have nominated for the subscription is credited almost immediately with the one year facility.
