For example, I had located info about old Paradise from a forum post that was more than 2 years ago, that led me to the New Thippa place later. Its one of the few places that I can claim to be the original hunter.

Its another matter that the place went downhill later and isn't worth visiting any more. And, then there is the element of luck of course.

BTW, the Paradise folks have a new place around Leela. I had shared contacts with a few, but haven't seen a FR yet. Not much into B12B places these days, so didn't try myself.

The skill to deciphering knowledge from the forum is to use the clues in conjunction with Just Dial, Google, making few calls and some in person hunting.

To give another example, I had visited the K'halli spa (way before it became popular with the Muslim lady). HappySammy or Explori had mentioned something about a Church. Took me half a day of roaming around on a bike in K'halli checking out Churches to find it. LOL. In those early days figuring out places from clues was half the fun in itself.
