How far by cab before it becomes a problem?
The distance is not the problem but the cab itself is the problem LOL. You really don't want to take a cab in Pattaya. They are mafia.
I am thinking of staying at I Rovers Sport Mar in LK Metro. Accommodation looks good and well sited.
In 2011 I spent one night at I-Rovers and never again it was a fucking nigthmare, loud music 24 hrs, impossible to sleep. I hope for you that they have changed their "music-policy".
I checked again, nothing that great too far north.
deciding between HILTON, Intercontinental, & Mytt
Hilton win hands down for the central location. Mytt can be good if you prefer soi6 over WS. Intercontinental too remote.

I actually wonder why would anyone, who wants to stay in a 5 star hotel in Pattaya, even think about any other hotel? It is possibly the most convenient location for all the action Pattaya has to offer.

But great if you have a GF staying with you there all the time.
Hi,
Will be hitting Pattaya in a couple of weeks, actually there for work. I generally don't like fishbowls, and would rather find free lancers or semipros in discos. What are the best recommendations on where to find them, Inferno? Would also like "Russian" women recommendations, yeah I know, don't want to do the Russian bars or strip clubs looking for freelancers. But figure eat some local and maybe toss in a European (Russian).
Also legit messages, I heard places that have a foot in front, as well as places with women with covered shoulders / older / less attractive?
Last question how do you tell a ladyboy, do you just ask or is that rude, I probably can get the obvious ones, but some arent so obvious. (no I don't want ladyboys, just the opposite).
What is the best chat app for Thailand? I know China is wechat, Korea kaotalk, thailand?
Thanks.

Also, while I do like how the hilton looks. It does bother me that they don't even offer free wifi in your room? LOL what kind of hotel doesn't do that these days.

Did you think the cute receptionist thinks you are there for the beach and weather only? I have stayed there only twice, and I had booked my room for two at the King Hilton Executive Seaview room. I was not asked for joiner fees. But I have brought back just one girl. Is the joiner fee applied to the third guest? Registration process is really no longer than any other place where it is followed properly. I did not find that to be on any inconvenience.

But in Thailand with the mobile data plans being so cheap and connectivity so good, I rarely use the hotel WiFi, even when it is offered free. How much data do you really use on a holiday?

What is the best chat app for Thailand? I know China is wechat, Korea kaotalk, thailand?
There is a separate thread in the Thailand forum named "identifying transvestites" that discusses distinguishing a ladyboy. I suggest you read it and if you still have questions ask on that thread.
All Thai girls have both Line and Facebook and they are on both constantly.
Most girls seem to like LINE.
But you cannot search for new girls with Line, so it's only useful if you already have some phone numbers.
You need apps like WeChat or Badoo to look for new girls. Or Thai Friendly for example.

Line used to have a feature called People Nearby where you can connect with girls near you. I say used to only because I can't seem to locate it any longer in Line. In Thailand if you see a girl you like just ask for her Line. If she's halfway interested in you she will give you her Line. This is what guys who like non-pros should do.
