Quito

Greetings all. Quito is a nice city. Very clean, safe, modern, and economical. We spent 1/2 of our trip seeing the city and doing touristy things. The only mongering I wound up doing was in the Chongos (Casas). I wasn't a big fan of the 15 ($13-15) and 20 ($20-22) minute sessions. Just too quick. However, there were some decent girls. From what some guys I met told me, there are decent girls to be had with the escort services for a better value ($50-70/ HR). Unfortunately, we never got around to that. If you are interested in Chongos, the best place to go is on Av. 10 de Agosto why N21 Bolivia. Just ask the Taxi driver to drop you off at the La Mariscal bus stop. The strip is right there. There are 3 Chongos within 50 yards of each other. Most of the Chongos are open at 9-11 am and close around 4-5 pm. They all have a $3 entry, but you get a free drink when you enter. They all require holding your passport. No exceptions. The best Chongo is called 122. There are around 30 girls. It's like a strip club setup. The 2nd best is called The Swing. Maybe around 20 girls. The third best is called L Club. Around 10 -15 girls. At night, there are several night clubs (aka night time Chongos) for $20-22 for 20 minute sessions. The two that I visited were in the upscale / touristy section called Plaza Foch. One was called Vibracion Club. Address: Wilson E-4-248 why Amazonas. It had about 8 girls, a few were decent. The front desk lady rings a buzzer when the 20 minutes is up. My session's time began when we left her and began walking up to the room. The actual session lasted about 15 minutes. The better club was called Club Habana. Address: Joaquin Pinto 526 why Av. Amazonas. There were around 8 girls and several were decent. Nice large, quite rooms. Relaxed sessions. Several of my sessions went over the 20 minutes and there was no problem. Most of the girls I was with were Ecuadoran, but I also encountered a Venezuelan and a Dominican.

Did some of you tried the Adhara spa?

Hi, in town for the day only and I had a couple of hours free, so went on to the local locanto classifieds page, where there are hundreds of ads daily, filtered by district, and picked one at random. I sent a whatsapp with 30 minutes advanced notice, whatsapped again when I was at the appropriate intersection, and was given the address and entrance instructions, all via whatsapp, without speaking a word.

The place for the ad I randomly chose is called The Office, in Mariscal Sucre. Three Venezuelans, relatively attractive, but past their prime. No pretenses at all, $40 for half hour with one or $60 with two. All covered. Worth it? Sure. Repeat? Probably not.

Possible trip to Quito soon- checking flight options and my preferred airline (s) don't land until almost midnight. By the time I clear customs, make it Reina Isabel hotel, what are my options in walking distance to hotel or outcall so the first night is not wasted sleeping? It seems most casas or girls working out of apartments stop around 7 or 8 PM.

Also any recent travelers not accustomed to high altitude had any major issues adjusting to high altitude in first 24-48 hours? I won't have a long time in Quito and would hate to waste it laying in bed due bad headaches!

You can talk to chica there and after 2 am finish habana and May join you in hotel. Please use taxi to go to habana although it is close to your hotel. You can try Nenas or skoka websites and can try online escort via wattsapp to join you around 1:30 or 2 am. Best wishes.

Melman -it is is only 100 meters from Reina, really that dangerous that even for such short distance I have to take taxi? Sounds like San Salvador.

Tomjackin sorry to hear the altitude hit you hard. I was just thinking that when I walked to the top of Santa Ana volcano crater in San Salvador, it was close to 8000 feet and besides some shortness of breath near top I didn't feel anything else. Actually didn't even think about altitude until couple days later when I was blaming myself for lack of fitness when I assumed to be in good cardio shape as I run 10 Ks and half marathons. But later found out that altitude could hit anyone hard despite of what physical shape one may be in.

Anyhow all booked for travel now so will have to deal with it!

Walked around fast in Cuenca within an hour of arrival and the only symptom was a faster heart rate. That symptom went away the next day. Maybe I was lucky. My friends suggested to take cab but security guards outside Reina Isabel hotel are good and can advise if it is safe to walk. I have one lady from Venezuela ready to meet at 1 am. She is 32 and I am sure more ladies will be available (but most will not be available).

Everyone reacts differently. Take it easy for the first few hours.

I was with Tomjackin and another monger. Although Tom got sick, we did not get sick from the Altitude, but I got sick from something I eat.

And I know it was not from eating pussy.

I did not check my medicines before leaving home. I had an empty box of Imodem AD. Dummy. I had to buy antibiotics. Never leave home without them!

I even went Zip Lining. I also took the tram up the mountain above Quito.

Also Club 122 does not have toilet paper or a seat on the toilet. That is when I got sick. I made a mess on the toilet.

Given the advise I am getting to take it easy the first day or so, I think I'd not venture out at 1 AM the night I land but rather have room service and hopefully will be in some physical shape to enjoy it!
