South China - Guangzhou

But on the other hand, sad to see the Colombianas are nowhere to be found. I had met some very nice paisas there and was told by them a while back that, Kama management treated the Colombian girls badly. And as I was mostly by myself when visiting this club, I was thrown off from the table by waiters or their supervisors with shitty attitude to give way to some other group customers. I understand the management's expectation of bigger group means bigger consumption, but they could have trained their employees to say it in a nicer way. And very frequently the waiters or waitress just took away your unfinished drinks without even asked you as if you non-exist. I know it is not uncommon in China this type of business practice, but I can say this business establishment has no respect for their customers. I have not set foot there for at least a couple years, but was not planning to return anyway. I just hope these Colombianas find a new nicer turf. Did anybody check out the small bar "Latina" these girls called it and liked to hang out after hours in Kama on Zhien Ser Liu Ma Lu, a few block from the Garden Hotel is still open?

I got the message from Kama staff that its open again. Also near to Kama there's an Arab resto bar in Taojin lu.

They have dance floor and sitting areas only. Many girls go there and sit in groups. Any taxi driver from kama will take you there in 10 rmb. I forget the name. If you can score in normal clubs the cocktail revolution bar branch in party tier area had lots of scope on a satday night.

This week I stayed at the Starway King Garden Hotel which is basically across the street from the Kama Club. Upon check-in I noticed more than the usual number of notifications about "visitors" to the guest room. All visitors have to register and they must leave the guest's room by 23:00.

Also, something new at check-in was the requirement to write your phone number on their (Police) copy of your passport page. Must make it easier for them to connect-the-dots.

At about 19:00 a table barrier was set up in the lobby in front of the elevator doors. It was manned by an older prim and proper woman with a red armband. You could just tell she would take great delight in ruining your mongering plans.

The woman had a sign-in form. The "visitor" was required to check-in at the front desk. Then the elevator monitor would sign the visitor in on a page. When the visitor left, they would be checked off as not being in the room with the guest. Presumably at 23:00 they would know who was still in the guest rooms and come knocking.

At 19:30 I checked out the Kama Club. There was absolutely no one there except a bartender. I understand that the action gets started later in the evening. However, taking a girl back to your hotel later would be problematic in view of the scrutiny in place. Possibly a hotel further from the Kama would be less stringent in trying to control human behavior?

First thanks for updating us about the situation in Guangzhou.

I don't know if you have checked the Shanghai forum here, but it seems the situation is a mess there and a couple of guys were reporting on being busted by the police for a couple of weeks.

My question is that do you think the current situation in Guangzhou is the same as shanghai now or is it just extra precautions about mongering. Meaning if you can get a girl to your room than you have succeeded and that's it or as in Shanghai you will be busted after you finish the job.

Just asking maybe you had a discussion with the bar tender about the situation.

There were reports here that some were caught by records of phone numbers on Wechat and Whatsapp. I've just never had a hotel ask for a phone number before and wondered if that made it easier for the police to track miscreants.

I suspect that the heat will be off once the congress is over. But, no one knows for sure.

Cautioned by your post I checked out the Arab Resto Bar at Taojin Lu. It's closed & locked. And Kama. Surprisingly, when I arrived at Kama at 12:30 am the place was absolutely packed. Not a table to be had and a 50/50 mix of men and ladies. Didn't manage to find out nationalities etc as I didn't want to make it too late. I brought home a friend to my apartment hotel (will share later. The hotel, that is) which is on easy Ofo / Mobike distance from the Kama club and no issue with security at all. The taxi driver still charged 50 RMB for the ride but then you can't blame him. And I wasn't in the mood to bargain it down.

You will see the actual amount clicking for time and mileage. If the meter read 50 rmb, you should be fine. There should be a receipt too.

Visited Kama on 4th of November, took Colombian st for 150 usd, amazing experience. I had travelled to lot of places and I am regular at Bangkok clubs, but I must admit few babes in Kama do surprise me with looks and service and lastly shape of there round butts.

Just a head's up, stayed one night in Guangzhou last week, Fortune Hotel in Tianhe / Computer shopping area.

Hotel had security at all entrance points and would not let any SW enter, I observed one being rejected while I was sitting in the lobby coffee shop, she was stopped at the elevator. WeChat deserted. Or at least no obvious profiles. Hotel spa looked promising when I passed it going to dinner, but it closed as I got back at around 10 pm. Had a good rest instead.

Your pm is not working you can stay in Dongfang hotel and sometimes Kama get close because of cops trouble, so in that case you can go to cat walk club. Some free lancers are available there and usual they stand near bar counter, mostly Vietnamese.
