Tong Manhattan Barber is a real barbershop that offers haircuts as well as massage. It's not far from the beginning of the soi.

well, this is my first trip to bkk. before i started my trip, i've asked several senior member about the scene, so i got some understanding. this report will consist of 2 parts:

3g pre-paid plan.
hotel reception suggested me to get my sim at 7-11. the cashier does not speak much english nor understand the 3g plans. long story short. got a true number for 299b, found rep at true store in terminal to explain to me (after countless attempts at reading the very limited english manual). reloaded / top-up another 400b. so i got 500mb at 42mbps for 30 days, with some credit left for phone calls. after the 500mb, the speed will be limited to 512kbps. will still be able to use 3g, just slower.
i urge everyone with a smartphone to get 3g in a foreign city. my co-workers thought i came to bkk a lot as i was bringing them to all sort of places with the bts. although this is my first trip to bkk in 15 yrs.
dinner.
got stood up by date, didn't find anything i like to eat in terminal 21. recalled there was a street stall with a lot of people. walk back, i think it is around soi 20-30. a noodle stall with tables at the street side. the noodles were fantastic (i am cantonese and from malaysia, i know my noodles). ordered 2 bowls, finished, paid 100b and happy.
went back to hotel. found out a lot of mp like eden, annie's and etc closes at midnight. i got phone calls to make, and when i finished it was past midnight. was thinking to rest a while on the bed, then maybe go check out the bars and street walkers, although i am not a fan of them. but long flights + only slept for 1 hr the night before, i dozed off on the bed. woke up in the morning.

I don't think Eden is worth a visit any more and I would only use Dr BJ if on a very tight time limit myself. Each to their own though.
