I understand that the Mansion's accommodations are sub-par for the price, but the lack of a bathroom would be a real problem, if only because it might make sessions and showering a bit awkward. The false advertising would also be a bit troubling.

I will post more information in the lists section, but I've noticed there are several love motels in San Cristobal. Went to one last night called Motel President. It felt like we had the place to ourselves. We got a junior suite with a jacuzzi and sauna. Tons of room. Sound system worked good. Even had a back patio where we ate dinner. Food was actually pretty good. Both of us had chicken with white wine sauce.

We paid for 6 hours, but they have a deal where you can come any time after 6 pm And stay until 2 pm The next day and the cost is only about 20 mil more than the 6 hours. If I had more time, I would have done that. I can't find my detailed bill, but I believe the 6 hours was 86 mil.

The bed was big and fairly comfortable for a Colombian bed. Good lighting. Even had a strobe light if you wanted to use it. Mini-bar was well stocked. I would recommend it for multi-hour fun with a chica. Best thing is you do not have to worry about the nose like you do in an apartment.

The owner is listed as Salgar. They also own another love motel in San Cristobal that I used about 3 weeks ago. I need to go back and find the name. It was also good. And same deals.

I speak fluent Spanish with NO gringo accent (I was born in Europe so English is not my first language so the Spanish sounds come easy to me). I can't ever pass for a Colombian. I have been asked what Latin country I'm from a couple of times, but never could pass for a local in Colo.

Yes, I agree but it is not North Korea after all. It's not like anybody is going to wind up in a labor camp because you are foreign. As others said, it's much more important to avoid coming off as clueless mark than pretending to be Colombian.

If it gives you a HIV positive result, you can be sure the person is HIV positive. However, if it gives you a negative result, it's only slightly more accurate than flipping a coin.

And it is useless to check for Hepatitis.
