Aug 22 walk araound report
The gloomy Negative: Took a walk around up and down Perimeter Rd, Down Tedoro st and got a Massage, knew the girl from before Happy ending HJ but says the place might close soon if they keep the lockdown. Then up and down fields ave, Real st, down Santos to Johnny st then out to MacArthur and back around up fields to Phillies. Nothing changed since March 15th 1st day really. New Freelancer Park which is across from Envy and Phillies now abundant with Shabu and glue sniffers but nothing over a 3 maybe a 4 there. Johnny st same 2's and 3's wanting 500 pesos for a hit of glue or shabu. Few bakla around too if that's your thing. Now with a bit of positive news. 3-4 Permeter bars have converted themselves into restaurants and are giving it a go to reopen. I did not check out these places tonight cause they are to close at 8 and It was going on 8 pretty much when I walked by them. I will soon go and give a update on the Modus operandi of the places and see if its close to anything normal bar procedure or are they just going legit to stay open. Talking to a few BG on facebook who went back to their hometowns in Samar and they said they expect to stay home till Jan 2021 then make their way back to AC. Guess we see.
Use the Changes to Re-engineer Yourselves
Read an article online few weeks ago about immunity. Wish I'd saved the link. The article said that immunity for those who beat the virus can be temporary, lasting 3-6 months, meaning one can re-catch the thing. Great! If true, then we could be living this way for many years, constantly on the run from it: ". . . A fundamental shift in our every day . . . lives well after it is brought under control".
Often when major changes are forced upon us we often end up with better solutions.
The scene in AC deteriorated dramatically over the past 10 years.
Prices went up, service quality dropped, good looks became rare, LT became ST, AC food awful.
Covid Infectiion / Fatality rates
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/#countries.
The trend now is increasingly dominated by under developed countries with bad public health services. China has dropped off the radar and the USA is a mess. The Philippines, which clocks in at place 22, is now probably permanently off my list as it is just too much trouble.
Hookers have to be hurting as business has dried up. Has anyone seen this reflected in price drops?
When Brexit finally comes, a huge European recession will gather pace. I think the LBFM days will fade, just like the Flower v Power stuff did. Something to tell our grand kids in their isolation un its.
Without getting into a Covid19 argument, I tend to avoid masks where I can. I am largley uncocerned but I do know where the risk are: old folks' homes, meat processiong plants, Covid19 party houses and cheap, over crowded slums where cut price hookers live. I ain't going to DATY on that.
