I would go 20 liter on the pot. You need two plastic buckets, each about 6 gallons, with spickets, and one of them needs a tight fitting lid with a small hole for the airlock, and an airlock. You will need a length of tubing, a bottle filler, a bottle capper, and blank bottle caps.
The hard part is going to be getting good ingredients. Unless you go hardcore and make your own malt, you will need to get liquid malt (fermentable sugars) , yeast (to turn sugar to alcohol) , grains (for flavoring) and hops (for bittering and flavoring).
I would suggest getting a good book (
http://www.howtobrew.com/
Is the bible I use) and read through it before you buy any equipment. Once you've read this, figure out what you can buy or make in Thailand, and what you will have to import / smuggle.
All good advice, beer monger. Only thing I would add is that getting dry malt extract might be easier (or might not.) The practical advantage is if you can get it shipped in at a good price, you don't have to ship the weight of water that's in the liquid extract. Either dry or liquid can be used to make fantastic beer. If you have the space, the time, and the inclination then making your own extract from grain would be a solution if there is a supply problem on getting malt extract. But as beer monger indicated, using extract is a lot easier especially for someone just getting started. Using extract or a kit gives more immediate gratification and positive feedback on the brewing process. Brewing a simple beer will only take about 2 weeks. We often cooked the wort on Saturday and let it cool overnight. Then pitched the yeast the next morning. It would take a few days to ferment. (The yeast eats almost all the sugar in the wort and creates alcohol and CO2.) Then on the next weekend we would bottle the beer (after adding bottling sugar for the yeast to create carbonation.). Then it would take about a week for the beer to carbonate in the bottle. More complicated (and low temperature) brewing recipes take a longer elapsed time. Thats another reason to start with a simple one. Its more fun to brew beer when you already have some of your own brew to drink during the process;)

I paid 200 baht for an oil massage and it was made by a woman who was for sure a novice. I was really upset there and is not a guide, a website, an application who show the price and the ability of the woman.

BKK shutdown
I can report that the road East of Soi Cowboy is closed. But, it's like a big party with people dancing, concerts and artists.
It's still a bit early (7pm) but girls are arriving continuously to Soi Cowboy.
I arrived half an hour ago from Nana where there's business as usual.
I recommend mc-taxi cause the traffic is really bad.

Hi guys,
Thanks for all the information that you always provide! It's just great!
You guys are on the ground. I'm coming to Thailand on 7th of February. I booked a long time ago when problems and the upcoming elections weren't even a subject. My plan is to spend three days in Bangkok before heading for the Philippines for a week and coming back to Thailand then to spend a week in Pattaya. Let me please ask the following questions:
- Have I understood correctly that the area of Nana, Sukhumvit 6 and 8 are still okay nowadays?
- Coming from Suvarnabhumi airport by taxi, going to a hotel in Sukhumvit 4, 6 or 8, will I have to confront with the same traffic as usual or is it heavier?
- Or does it make more sense to skip Bangkok and better go to Pattaya right away?
What I learnt from my last stay, according to a taxi driver, coming from Suvarnabhumi airport, it's better to go to the even Sois than uneven like for example Sukhumvit 7 (beer garden).
- Is that still the case because I assume that the exit "Sukhumvit" is busier because of the shut down?
Thanks a lot for your answers! I'd really appreciate to get the answers.

You paid the equivalent of 6 USD and you were "really upset" that she was a novice. Ha ha. Thanks again.

Soi Cowboy was working as normal last night. I crossed through the people camped on Asoke to get there no problem at all.
Mob previously at Thonglor is gone so taxi can travel East from Cowboy no problem. To travel other way to Suhimvit low Sois simply do the walk of shame through the Asoke gathering if have girl with you LOL.
I took girl to Penny Black ST Hotel for 90 min ST. After drink commissions she had just 140 Baht in her purse. My ST money was desperately needed as she had tooth ache and needed to see the dentist today.
Despite toothache she was really into the sex and cum more than once. This was a newbie girl in Dec and has very low English but picking up a few words now using bar girls English handbook.
Slow moving taxis in Soi 23 but out on Suk late no problem at all.

Thread Split
[blue]Greetings Everyone,
I moved the last several pages of discussion regarding "Thailand Politics" to another thread in this forum titled "Thailand Politics".
http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showthread.php?2526-Thailand-Politics
This "Thread Splitting" process is not perfect, and it's possible that I may have inadvertently moved / did not move a few reports. If you find that your own report was also moved / not moved, please don't take it personally.
Thanks,
Jackson[/blue]

In the area of the Sois you mention, much lower than normal.
I see any great difference between the even and odd Sois as long as stay in odd Soi where can do a U turn on Sukhumvit at Soi 11 to go back to the Expressway that comes out at approx. Soi 1. Once get past the last U turn spot before Asoke gets harder. Soi 11 should be no great problem as normally can turn right into Sukhumvit I believe. Sois 13, to 19 would have to take the back Sois to exit from Soi 11 or lower then go to express way.
Even Sois would be better for getting to airport a bit quicker.
Normal crowd on Cowboy or was it slow?
I was there a little to early to judge. The girls (in 2 bars) said it was a bit down. But, from my pint of view it was almost a little better. The Protestant played nice music with live bad, and the girls was more active / interested.
But, as usual I went to Nana after a few hours, I think it's more relaxed and also the same price. But for a longtime girl. I always appreciate my morning massage.

http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/custompages.php?pageid=custompages_forumrules
Well I have to be honest. I just looked through the whole set of rules and I actually do not see anything in there that says off-topic posts are verboten. Closest is "no trolling" which is defined as not posting something that "disrupts the peace and harmony" of the thread.
It really seems like it should have a rule though. Somehow I think if I put up 15 consecutive posts here about buying socks, that would annoy the crap out of everybody. Jackson just removed all the stuff about the protests (I never did click that Report Post link, just for the record) but left all the stuff about taxes and beer-making, which to me at least was way more annoying to have to scroll through.
Apologies to anyone offended by my outburst yesterday, got a bit too hot under the collar. I mean, I still do get irritated when the thread is overhwlemed with non-pertinent discussion. But I probably came on too strong. Appreciated that the beer talk simmered down. No personal offense meant.
