The girl you knew had tons of family, friends, neighbors, classmates, coworkers, government officials, etc. But YOUR money was the only thing that could save her?
This was not a party girl or hooker earning decent money. This girl did not have tons of family, friends, neighbors, classmates, coworkers, government officials, etc. (Hell, I don't have that either. I have a few good friends and a few relatives.) This was a non pro who earned about 200 to 300 usd a month as a maid. Her few good friends and family were dirt poor. For them to gather up 2 grand for that operation on short notice would be close to impossible.
The bottom line is that she is now dead and if I had given her the money, she would very likely be alive today.
Again, I agree that money should almost never be given to these girls because they are mostly full of BS. But there are exceptions.

Not attacking you in any way bro. I just want to understand better.
How did you meet her? I mean if she had a regular maid income, are you saying she was a prostitute only in emergency situations? I wouldn't place that kind of guilt on yourself bro. You could have sent her money but who knows if she even would have gone to the hospital with it. At the end of the day its safe to assume she was using old every day money sucking techniques. I get that she died and that sucks.
But its not something you could have with 100% certainty stopped. She was a working girl bro, sad that she died, but you don't know her full intentions. Again, she didn't ask you to call the hospital and pay a medical bill. She wanted cold hard untraceable cash. You always have to assume the worst with these women. Protect yourself at all times!

On top of that, millions of people die every day around the world. If you were going to pay for an operation for every one that you know, you would very soon be asking people for money urself! Its sad but that's life. Unless its someone with whom you have a permanent / long term relationship with, I wouldn't even consider it.
Unless its someone with whom you have a permanent / long term relationship with, I wouldn't even consider it.
I am not sure what you are saying so I am curious. If you were there and knew $1000.00 or so would save a friend's life you would not afford it unless you were in a committed relationship? I'm asking as if you actually visited the hospital and the physicians / surgeons discussed at length the condition and procedure.
-
You misunderstand me. I didn't say "committed relationship". "Committed" in itself demonstrates commitment, then there would be no question. I said "permanent / long term relationship", and by that I mean family and good friends and partners.

I said "permanent / long term relationship", and by that I mean family and good friends and partners.
Exactly. The first question that you should ask before you go giving money is would that person do the same for you. In most cases the answer is no. I have heard friends say that they give chicks money or help them out or whatever and when their birthday or Christmas comes they don't so much as receive a card from the girl. Like I said before, out of alllll the people this person has met in her lifetime, it all boils down that only you and your money can help them? So if they didn't know you, their fate would have been sealed anyway. I don't buy into that kind of BS.
I am not one to be afraid of losing out on some pussy and I am not one to give someone money because I feel guilty for fucking them. If I am going to give out money to someone that is not a hooker, then I have to receive collateral. Had a chick ask me the other day for some money because her kid is going back to school. I said you need to ask that kid's dad for that. She said something to the effect that he is a deadbeat. I said well next time you decide to have a child you need to choose the father wisely. You can not expect someone else to shoulder the burden of you and some other guy's responsibility.
I tell them that the reason I only had 1 kid is because I did not want to take care of any more! And I am definitely not paying a grown person's way through life. I have friends and family (like JustTK said, permanent long-term relationships) of my own that will be the ones I help out if anyone. Not just some chick I fucked a few times.

An experience I had very early in my mongering career convinced me to never send girls money. I was boning a prepago in Rio for nothing other than cheap food and drinks (I was still young and good-looking). She was letting me stay with her in her apartment and even introduced me to friends for threesomes. One night she gets out her laptop and starts showing me correspondence from guys that were sending her money. She laughed and referred to them as "losers. ".
Since that experience, if a girl begs me for money, I immediately cut off contact with her. I don't care how old and ugly I may grow. I'm not going to send money to someone who (as Mr E pointed out) doesn't give a crap about me. If you're talking a long-term friend with whom there is a mutually caring relationship (not necessarily sexual or romantic), that's a different thing. But that type of relationship is extremely unlikely with a chick in a foreign country that you've slept with a few times.
I pay the girls a decent rate. I treat them nicely, sometimes even going out for drinks / dancing / food. But IMO there's a line that shouldn't be crossed in this hobby.

There in the house some guy had just bought a new dinette set for them. From the top of the China cabinet her mom pulls a stack of Western Union slips and referring to my friend, asked her if he knew how to fill these out.
Several years later, the same chick sent out a mass email asking about money for whatever the excuse was, but instead of BCC she did normal CC by mistake. I had several friends that received that same email. Remember all of this was before the days of whatsapp and widespread cell phone ownership / use, which allows them to be even more personal and heart wrenching with the requests these days.

I always tell them no, I only give money in person. They've all been smart enough to realize I'm not some gullible gringo and have immediately desisted, not wanting to ruin a good thing.
Don't kid yourself into believing you've developed a deep emotional bond with a barrio girl half your age. To most of these chicas you're nothing more than a meal ticket and a temporary source of income. If they can trick you once into giving them money "to replace a stolen phone" I guarantee you her financial woes will never end--next she'll need money for her sick grandmother, to replace a leaky roof, to pay off a corrupt cop, etc. Better to nip that behavior right in the bud before it escalates.
I did have one girl who skipped the sob story and said she needed 30 k pesos to go to the spa. While I applaud her honesty I didn't give her any money either.

I was skeptical but then he asked for money to buy something to eat so I offered to buy food for him. We were close to a supermarket and I told him I would buy some bread and milk for him and he said no and was directing me to an upscale restaurant. I left his ass.
A few days ago I was at the main train station in Frankfurt and an emaciated young East European woman asked me for money and I shook my head, she walked off and I noticed she was bare foot and in tattered clothes. I then glanced not too far from me a sandwich shop but when I looked for her she was out of sight, I ran looking for her but could not find her and felt rather guilty.
The moral is I think we should choose our beneficiaries wisely.

Isn't the whole point of mongering to pay them to leave?? I mean whether it's an hour or a tln or even a week you pay her for the time you spent with her and payment means it's a done deal. Once you develop feelings other than wanting to just fuck her I don't think it becomes mongering anymore.
Your story reminded me of when I was visiting Bogota and a stranger approached me, claimed he was an American tourist who had just arrived and that his luggage and wallet was stolen and that he needed money to buy a plane ticket back home. His tale of woe was so ridiculous because (1) he decided to visit a city he's never been to using only a 1-way ticket?; (2) luggage AND wallet stolen, I'm surprised he also hasn't lost a kidney already; (3) so instead of going to the US embassy for help or staying at the airport where there's a rich source of foreign tourists he decided to hitchhike to the complete opposite side of the city and wander around one of the less populous suburbs until he just happened to run into someone like me; (4) for an "American" tourist he sure had a thick accent and couldn't name another city in the state he's supposedly from. When I pointed out these obvious holes in his story he scowled, muttered something under his breath, and quickly left.
One night she gets out her laptop and starts showing me correspondence from guys that were sending her money. She laughed and referred to them as "losers. ".
I had a conversation in Tijuana with a very savvy monger a few years ago. We basically discussed the working girls and how much they respect us or don't respect us. This savvy monger said something I then found hard to believe. He said". And the guys the pro's respect the least are the ones sending them money."
So over the next couple months, I casually asked several pro's I had a good rapport with about this. They all in some way verified the statement by this savvy monger, and they verified it in an absolute manner.
I have a hard fast rule of never sending money along with never pay upfront & trust the interview process. As well, I don't know any guys who send money to pro's. So I can only speculate to some of the thoughts the girls have of guys who send money. That they are so foolish to think they have a relationship with me? Or so pathetic in their home lives they need to send me money to not feel lonely?
Hell, a part of me thinks A guy sending them money would be treated as a VIP. But I guess that is foolish.

Facebook Chica Pricing
Does the 150 K for 2 hours include taxi? I am asking because many two of the agencies I am looking at charge 220 k per 90 minutes. I surmise that 90 minutes means two experiences based on a review of a local Board. So I am breaking down the cost to be 150 K to the chica, 20 k for taxi and 50 k to the agency. It seems like a reasonable proposition to me especially since I would probably meet Facebook chicas in a motel room the first time rather than my hotel apartment. I might try this approach for the first couple of days and if I am not getting quality chicas through agents then I will switch back to visiting the Laureles casas. I personally have not had much luck in the Centro casas so I am not really interested in returning. The local Boards say to avoid any chica offering less than 120 k an hour. Mostly they report that these chicas turn out to be scammers.
