I have just had another report back from my medical health check & I am still free of everything. However, I have been losing weight recently so I visited my doctor. After som checks he feels I have a cancer somewhere but hasn't been able to locate it yet. Chest X rays were clear so he is waiting for some more blood test. The strange thing is that I don't have any symptoms of anything, but I have lost 10 kg (22 lbs) in the last 4 months & I haven't been on a diet or other changes in my life.

Harry - another possibility for your weight loss is being hyper thyroid, a common complaint which can come on any time. The amped-up metabolism can cause a variety of effects.

IMHO cancer would be less of a worry than HIV if the news were to be that bad. Some cancers can be cured, and many are benign or of low malignancy.
An interesting fact : More men die WITH prostate cancer than die FROM prostate cancer. Most prostate cancers are slow and relatively low malignancy. The ones that make the headlines are the rarer, more malignant versions - but they are not typical of most.

Now for everyone in general...

I've often wrestled with the disease risk with sex. I've been with lots of sexworkers, and had broken rubbers with 3 of them, but never persued BB fucking. BBBJ is a risk I accept to take, as I understand the risks are very low, but I don't actively persue any BB action.

I've had some result back from my doctors visit & I don't have prostrate cancer & nothing else that they have found yet, but there is still some results to come.

I don't always go by the looks of the provider. I try to talk to her first & I "look" at her attitude. That has been the most telling thing for me. If their attitude is "right" their service will be better.

It hasn't let me down yet & I have had excellent service by some that are a 5 or 6 in the looks area. So what would you prefer? Overprices terrible service from a 10 or a 10 service by a 6? I go for the latter all the time. I have also turned down providers whos attitude has been non customer friendly even if they have been higher up the scale in looks. I'm asuming you have a history of smoking.

It depends on how much of the lung is affected, but you can lose a lobe here and there and hardly notice the loss. Lose too much and you begin to feel breathless and weak.

On the other hand, I had a friend develop asbestosis and he was dead within months of diagnosis. It seems having a history in the building trade extending back 30yrs is a real hazard. Asbestosis is particularly nasty.

On the positive side, it's good to have a diagnosis, and it's excellent to have the problem discovered BEFORE any symptoms set in. While I'm really quite ignorant of lung disease, I'm confident you've got tons more years on these boards yet - so don't blow your savings on the ultimate orgy yet!
