Clearly Otto is a man of principle and will not back down from a fight. If you attack, not only will he return in kind, but he will relentlessly keep attacking until you surrender. (Don't get me wrong Otto, I respect that.) I respect never backing down from a fight, but there comes a time when for the greater good of all you have to let some shit slide. So, I hope the two of you come to a cease-fire agreement also.

Just a minor point of clarification if you don't mind. There are many men of high principles here on this board and I consider myself one of them.

As for surrender, that word is simply not in my vocabulary. I simply decided that the effort required to keep up a verbal battle with Otto or anyone for that matter is simply not worth my time as well as being poisonous to the forums. I chose merely to declare a truce for the good of all with the express understanding that I will do what I wish as he will as he wishes, but without crapping on each other as that will only re-ignite the flames. In other words, as far as I am concerned, we have agreed to disagree and drop it. That's still where I stand today. That is a LONG way from a surrender by any stretch of the imagination.

Trashman, sincere apologies. I did not mean to imply that you surrendered. You simply called a cease-fire to the hostilities. Like I said, for the greater good of all, you decided to end the back and forth bullshit. I am grateful for that, as are many other members here. I was just pointing out to Xsailor that Otto was not going to quit unless he did to. So, it would be best to just cease and desist now!

I think the problem here is that we are all too damn much alike! Too many Alpha Males running around trying to assert themselves! When you get right down to it, we all have the same self-confidence, same hobby and same desire to talk about our conquests. That's why we are all here in the first place. So, it stands to reason that we view things very similarly. We don't run from a challenge or a fight. We never give up or never surrender. That's why nobody wanted to let go of the issue. Everyone thought that they were right and were not going to give up until the other admitted they were wrong. But, everyone here knows that no one on this board would admit to being wrong! lol.

That is why I want to congratulate you Trashman and Otto for finallly burying the hatchet, so to speak and LoveLOS too. As outsiders looking in, many of us here felt that you had very valid points and good arguments. We also felt that you both were wrong in some instances as well. We found it difficult to take sides because you are both well respected members of this forum. I don't want to speak for others, but that is why I started pressuring you both to end this. It wasn't helping anyone. So I am glad that we can all move on.

Now, you can all tell me that I am full of shit! lol.

High ground, for the purpose of this forum, should be redefined as: 1. a hooker stroll on or or near the top of a hill. 2. A *****house or AMP that is on the top floor of the building. As far as the lack of zingers goes, I have always made a practice to refrain from such activity unless and until someone's actions or continual dumb questions seem to "warrant" it. I haven't seen many posts that bug me sufficiently to get me to flip the igniter of my flame thrower. Plus, constant zingers makes them get old fast and they lose the effect you're trying to achieve, that of helping another member get his shit together before he makes a bad mistake and gets himself in trouble. That's what my zingers are meant for as far as I am concerned except for those meant to get a rise out of one of my posting buddies.
