But the sad fact is, the The Bwana Dik guide (aka.The Bubba Boy Guide), barely registers on most mongerer's radar as a "go-to-source", when mongering in Brazil, these days.

Xpartan, both, The Cane and Wyatt Earp, have responded to this with their POVs, insights and knowledge on the matter and I found their post to be illuminating and has peeked my curiosity. I can't speak to this topic and have no first hand knowledge to share.

I told you who the senior member who quit is by name, and you did your own research and found indeed that the man has not posted here in ages, and you can't even find his handle here anymore (it seems his old posts now just appear as "member" with a number following). You know my intel is solid Spidy, and you ought to acknowledge that versus beating around the bushes. I have also conveyed who it is to WyattEarp, another monger here whom I trust. I was going to fill Xpartan in and let him know as well, but his mailbox was full. And as I told you both (Spidy and WyattEarp), I don't mention who it is here publicly because the guy told me he was afraid that if VB1 found out about how he felt about him (and about some other things this unknown monger was involved in), that VB1 would try to "doxx" him. The "unknown monger" conveyed to me that he had seen VB1 do that to at least one other person.

So, I have respected his privacy by not naming him here publicly. My information is solid and backed up by the facts, and I don't appreciate Xpartan challenging my veracity. He may think it's a ridiculous assertion, but that shows just what he knows about it, which is nothing. And WyattEarp recently conveyed what he knows about another member walking away from the board because of VB1, a situation which I was also aware of as well, but the person was not a senior member with gravitas here like the other I have referred to. I am just pointing out the inconsistency of viewpoints and I draw a parallel from that to show it.

TC's view about cash in principle is right and it can still be considered timeless. But on the practical side is out of date because technology improvements as I have pointed out. I only showed facts and what I saw on the ground, and not even trying to argue. TC seemed to dig into a position and at the same time seemed to think others are the same. He showed a report but seemed to ignore on the ground latest evidences, thus I said dug his heels in and one of the places that I draw the parallel from. I am flexible and I tell you when I used cash as I have shown in my post.

Abecs is the association in Brazil that represents that country's electronic payments sector. So, you know more about it than they do? I don't think so. The same article stated further that contactless payments are growing exponentially in Brazil (I acknowledged that), and could soon reach 50%. I said that if and when it gets to 75%, then I would be comfortable (that's my flexibility level). So what's your self-professed obsession with what I said? As for criticizing other members economics, I will say this.

The daily volatility in your brokerage account, is probably far less than even the most generous monger at the most expensive venue. There are certainly days where it would have been better if I had simply gone to 4 x4 or Solarium and paid full price instead of placing a trade.
