I am planning to travel to P.R. in September for 2 months. I am looking for a very inexpensive room, hostel or pension hotels with daily rate of $20.00 to $25.00 per day. I will be recovering from surgery and just looking for a small place to relax, walk to the beach on occasion.

Can anyone recommend any small unknown hotels I can enquire in San Juan or another city that is near the sea shore.

I realize going during high season and the current hotel rates, this is probably a impossible request, but maybe there are some backstreet hotels that are good for short stays.

Does anyone know any apartment rental agents who rent short term in San Juan Puerto Rico with properties in the Isla Verde Area or Condado Beach area? I will be in San Juan with 9 of my guys form September 1st to September 5th doing some partying, performing at a few concerts and taking in the local scene with the lovely ladies of Puerto Rico so let me know fellas, anygood tips are welcome...Peace!

No offense, but Puerto Rico is the most expensive Island in the carribean. I recomend either checking Dominican Rep or hit Thailand.

I've stayed at ESJ many times, this is a nice place to stay.
You get the benefits that are offered from the El San Juan hotel for a fraction of the cost. The service is very nice and they might even put a welcome basket in your room. A massage parlor is less than a block away.
There is a fun mexican restaurant serving good drinks and food real close by.
The best part is all the beauties walking around in the El San Juan Hotel.

What is all the rave I keep hearing about the San Juan Hotel??? Is it a nice place where all the Beautiful Young Ladies of San Juan come to play on Saturday Nights? Any hidden gems of Puerto Rico I should check out?

Back in the early 70's, during a visit to downtown San Juan, a cab driver dropped my buddy and I off at a bar for some action. I think the name was Black Angus, or Bull, or something like that. I was amazed, it was a bar setting with beautiful girls wandering from table to table offering to take you upstairs for FS for about $15. Does this place still exist, or can anyone remember it, and is there any action like it in San Juan nowadays?

It was a 100 year old brothel and since some members of congress are owners of upscale strip clubs they eliminated the compitition.

i went to a massage place with in walking distance from the marriott by condom world, what a waste of time Dominican girl looked great by wanted a mortage.

I the bar at the hotel a couple of higher priced girls seemed were working. I can tell when they look at the chubby guy and smile with hunger . will be going to old san juan later anything up that way?

Don't waste your time at the place I went to.

Regarding your question about finding beautiful young ladies on Saturday night at this hotel that was my experience while on the island between 2002-03. I was there for a year and pulled plenty of young to early thirties aged women from that hotel. The trick was a little spit and polish and a strong game plan.

I posted this advice in early June but Reality disagreed completely and you could read that series of exchanges by scrolling back to June.

He has lived on the island for 25 years and knows a ton about all kinds of special low budget massage parlors. Based on his English I would say he is a native. Unfortunately this means he makes excuses for everything that is screwed up about the place and seems a little too sensitive about anything critical said about his island.

I was a resident there for a year and still make occasional trips back to the island but look at the place realistically. In my opinion the p4p scene really sucks in PR but there are plenty of local non-pro women who are available and open to conquest with a little bit of game.

I am with PM on this. Forget about P4P action in Puerto Rico and enjoy the food and the good music.
