The whole discussion between which is better. The Mansion or VIP may be coming to an end. If you have stayed or been by VIP lately you may have noticed a huge ARRIENDA sign on the front gates of VIP. In fact the Down Under Group may very well be in line to take over VIP.

VIP definitely is a nice place to stay. I was there just two weeks ago for one week. The Mansion/Castillo was full so I opted for VIP. It of course is different than the Mansion/Castillo. It was calm and peaceful but devoid of any chica action as I had thought it might be. I think it's safe to say that I am a bit mored versed in the monger business than your average monger so to me it did not matter though.

I did stop by the Mansion a couple of days to meet with a few fellow mongers who wanted to meet me. Each time there were beautiful Paisas available at the Mansion. I was also invited to the Sunday Mansion Party which is usually reserved for Mansion guests. There were a multitude of Paisas to cohort with of course. Again I was not a guest so I did not take any Paisas from the premise.

However, at times I was invited to join in some fun with a couple of stand up mongers and we did have some fun together at the Mansion. The guys insisted I bring my camera to capture some of the fun. I of course complied.

Bottom line guys is there has always been a big difference between the Mansion/Castillo and VIP but this too may be coming to an end.

For what it's worth though, the Medellin Mansion gets High marks from experienced monger such as myself as well as novice mongers.

I like the facilities at VIP. As stated originally in the Mansion vs VIP post, I thought they were way better than the Mansion's. It is too bad they could'nt do more with what they had as Kevin sunk alot of money into the place.
