When I wrote this morning, it was a few months ago in 2007. I am not anymore in Guaya.

Food is beter and cheaper in Guayaquil and the coast in general than the sierra/quito
Quito is like a ghost town after 10, I think the cold and the high altitude make people go home and sleep more.

The really good looking Quito women are mostly from the higher society spanish descendants and are not quick or easy pickups.

I just hit some chongos today in Quito and had a good time, both the girls I did were from the coast.

Salina is either JAM PACKED or DEAD. It is a place to take the pussy to not to go get the pussy. I am not at all impressed by the non-pro Guayaquil action. While it is true that GYE women are better dressed and sexier, getting them into the sack is a big challenge. GYE is the largest city in ECU and as such it is the ¨"NEw York city" of ECU. The women from the middle and lower classes talkinanextemelyfastspanish running all their words together. They will not slow down, despite repeated pleas. They show no mercy to the spanish challenged. The upper class will talk in a slowed down spanish.

I have found that there are many well off women in GYE so my being my being a well off gringo is of little advantage. Furthermore, I have that GYE do not keep to their committments for dates.

I am sure that in GYE I can meet and mate all the fat dumpy 35 year olds that I can handle..But I am after slender, attractive women 18-30. PReferably a poor to middle class girl.

The bottom line in this: GYE is a city of rich b1tchs, who are looking for a guy with a lot of cash and a lot of flash. They are fickle women. It is not an EZ city to find non pro action. However the pro action is cheap, beautiful and plentiful

And GYE is an EXTREMELY DANGEROUS CITY (AT NITE)

I thought we came to the conclusion that guayaquil was NOT a good place for mongering. Besides calle six and a few other places mentioned I thought this was a dead thread. Now Im reading about $30 escorts...hmmm.

I think ecuador is not a great place to meet women in general. I thought differently my first trip but then compared to the DR or peru you can really see the difference.

People from ecuador are really conservative and they use the dollar so we are no mystery to them.

I think the best way to meet local women would be to get involved in some sort of learning program dance, spanish,volunteer etc. I saw people hooking up in salsa classes but it was between young 20 something backpacker types.

We take many risks in our hobby.

1. The risk of embarrasment
2. The risk of an STD
3. The risks of robbery or loss of life or limb, because of the illicit nature of our hobby.

Risk Number 3 is the greatest risk while mongering at Calle 18 and in all of the "value" chongos in Guayaquil.

(I have only mongered in value chongos, not in the hi-end places like SuperMarket or Isla De Tesoro in GYE)

Everyone in town knows where this place is. If the taxista says he doesnt know where it is - he is lying - it is just because he is is too afraid to take you.

This place is open 7 days a week (yes even on Sundays)
Hours: Midday to 8pm. Because of the fights and robberies there, by a recently enacted law it most close at 8pm.

The std price is $6 - $7 per session. 100 girls. 400 or so Drunk Ecuatorian guys, very few sessioning. This is basically a huge closed off street, an open air bar where lower to middle class Ecuatorianos stand and sit around and get drunk and sometimes partake of the ladies. Most of the men stand at the entrances to the brothels oogling the girls who are sitting behind the "cages".

The going rule is a session is "Hasta terminare" (until you finish). Not all girls observe this rule, and will ask for more money after 15 minutes. They give very brief BJs, just enuff to get you hard so that that can climb on top of you and get you off. Many will even try to insert a limp penis just to get you off and get you out of there. If you want a longer BJ - you will have to pay more.

You can find attractive girls there. Out of the 100 or so girls, 8 or so are hotties.

Here is the problem: ACCORDING TO THE GUAYAQUILLENOS THEMSELVES, GYE IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. IT IS MORE DANGEROUS IF YOU ARE A FOREIGNER (BECAUSE YOU ARE RICH). IT IS EVEN MORE DANGEROUS IF YOU ARE SOLO. IT IS INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS TO WALK THE STREETS AT NITE. (Except for the heavily patrolled areas around the tourist hotels - even then I wouldnt risk it)

There is good cheap P4P action in GYE. Unfortunately the value brothels are located in the risky parts of town. there are rarely any police at Calle 18, so you are really at the mercy of the crowd. If you are a solo gringo, you are without other members of your "tribe".

It seems to me that prices and quality are the same in Quito. And that safety is somewhat higher in Quito.

I would avoid the value chongos in GYE. In fact, avoid GYE altogether.

If you HAVE TO BE in GYE (For some other reason): follow the advice of the tourist guidebooks, if you travel at nite, take a taxi from door-to-door. Do not walk the streets (even for a block) unless it is in a heavily guarded tourist area (Zona Rosa is the only exception I can think of.) Always try to have a freind with you - there is safety in numbers.

GYE is NOT worth the risk to your personal safety.

Guayaquil has the best women and food in Ecuador.

Of course it is dangerous, most large S. American cities are.

I used to get laid all the time in Guayaquil at the clubs and later chongos where I'd collect the numbers if they gave good service, usually did, and then later I could call them to meet me at a motel. Longer time more relaxed same dollars or a bit more. I have walked all over the central area and never had any problem, of course I carry myself well and am fairly large. Helps in some ways but on the other hand it makes you stand out.

Sorry I'm not uptodate on the scene there as haven't lived there for sometime.

Last time I did some mongering there was first of this year and I ended up at the Port area. There are a bunch of clubs lining the main street where you can go in and drink and dance with freelancers and pull the girls out. Also a few disco chongos there. Plenty of cheap hotels there and you could easily make a 2-3 night there.

Also across the river in Duran on the main highway right hand side as you leave town there is a group of LARGE Chongos. Stopped in there and fukd a shiny little teenie as I headed home.

The entire Costal area is full of chongos, any small/medium sized town has them. Ended up making it halveway home and stopping in another town, another chongo, another teenie

I am in Ecuador until about the 4th and am planning on taking a trip to the cost or possibly to the Oriente. I'm just going to drive around looking at Ecuador's amazing scenery, eating it's good cheap food, stop in at the chongos and keep the nuts drained and stay in some of the cool little places.

FWIW in general all of the Costal and Oriente areas have chongos in practically every town of any size. The Andes area is a lot more hit or misss except the larger cities.

In the Oriente I have been laid in Lago Agrio, Coca, ShuShufindi, Tena, Macas, Puyo. That is pretty much everywhere except Baeza. Guess I need to knock that one out also. These are pretty well all in the 5-10 dollar range and no telling what you will find in them. Usually there are at least a one or two worthy of at least suknonmycok and have seen a few stunners there also. Just travel really low keyed and I have never had any problems anywhere. But Quito. And that was a vehicular deal.

I'll start documenting the places more as before I have allways just stumbled across them and checked them out when I had time and or was with someone I could or by myself.

Duran (Across the river from GYE)

El Gato - closed

The entire El Imperio - el Gato complex in Duran is closed. What a pity.

There are only a few "nite clubs" (more like bars) that are open in Duran. Quality and selection is poor.

Before anyone asks or sends me PM asking I will let everyone know that the city of Duran has decided to shut all "chongos" down because of the mall opening near the outside of the city. "Imperio" "El Gato" "Escorpion" and the 2 in the center of Duran have been shut down, all the owners have complained to the city to deaf ears only the owner of the biggest one "Imperio" has opened a new local in the Km 7 1/2 Via Duran Tambo it is now called "Venus" but it's a far cry from the "Imperio" which had like 25 rooms downstaris plus and upstairs lounge which was more high class the new establishment only has 15 rooms and no 2nd floor. I will post photos of the new local in the upcoming week.

Haven't tried to gather this type of info before as I was never concerned about writing reports. I'd say in the 15-30 minute range though. Quito is too cold for me, but "Tungs" reports and chongo locations are many. GYA has good weather, but doesn't have as many chongos.

Is GYA worth the trip for mongering?
