Even though this is the virtual world, there is a decorum that needs to be maintained. So it is my humble request to you to behave like a gentleman. Else then it is my duty to report you as and when you cross limits. (which i seriously dont like)

I sincerely apologize the hurt caused to Vivekkej and the waste of time caused by this thread to all members. Lets move ahead and I have buried it here and hopefully everyone will forget this. I was a bit busy and could not respond. Lets share good mongering experience. Just back from Hyderabad and posted a long report in that forum. I tried to search and delete my post, but could not find, hope that is already taken care.

I gets email alert in Mumbai forum but not in other forums. I need to search how to get added for automated email alert when new post is done in other forums. Pl PM the link if someone can extend help.

If you look towards the top of the screen you will find a link that says User CP. You can open the User Control Panel and subscribe to whatever thread you want updates by adding it to your "subscribed threads" list , and it will show up with regular updates if you have set it up for automatic notification. Hi EL,

I tried once to follow this, but could not succeed as I was unable to find add button anywhere to add more forums. I was surprised to see Hyderabad forum added to my subscription. Thanks to buddy who has done it. I have tried adding Calcuta forum with EDIT and could not succeed. Pl advice.

Usually, whatever city that you add a report to gets added to your subscribed cities list, even if you may not see the notification box checked. So just go in and check it. Despite Cost Cutting spree from Corporte, Its good news for me. Kolkata trip is final now. I shall be travelling Kolkata on 19th Nov Night and I shall leave back on 29th Nov.

The Park is booked for stay. Got 100 USD as daily tariff and was surprised with bargain.

Thanks to LE and Adiwhatsup for 2 contacts I have now.

Sekhar S have promised me to give contact 3 days before my trip, so shall wait for that.

As I have Weekend free on Sat& Sun, what are the site seeing I can plan. Do you recommend any girl to help me for sight seeing. How about Dhiga Beach I heard or anything nearby. Hello, mate. It was amusing to see your post and the reference to a contact that you got from LE. I realize the typo, but newbies may begin to assume that in Calcutta it is an "official" method of welcoming visitors.

Humor apart, you ought to experience the ambience of SG. It is a lot different from Bombay's Foras Road area (Kamathipura for the uninitiated) and better organized and managed. The CPM skills at organization may have something to do with that. You also know pretty much what to expect once you get to negotiating, though language is a barrier if one does not know at least a smattering of Bengali, even though some form of Hindi is spoken by the "madams". If you had subscribed we could give you specific pointers, but that is not the case so you would have to do with what this forum offers. Let me assure you however that you will not find any party treff in Calcutta, though if you take a taxi from the Oberoi to Sonagachi you will definitely find what you are looking for with a reasonable variety. A couple of other mongers are also visiting Calcutta around this time so maybe you can hook up with them. These threads give clues about who they are (Suiss and Inblr1, to name two).
