I am from Pune and was part of that forum primarily. I have shifted to Mumbai now (staying in New Mumbai near Vashi).

I have read the reports on the Mumbai forum and they are great - much more informative than not only Pune but other forums as well.

Guidance/help/views I need is because of my limited knowledge about Mumbai's geography. Hence please give your views keeping that in mind (and remember that I am not seeking help without reading the relevant posts)

1) About N*******r lane, I read that it is close to Harkisandas Hospital near Charni Road. When I see google maps, I find Navalkar Road. Is this the same as N** lane? Please guide me how to reach from the hospital

2) There is a report on activity opposite Turbhe station. While I was on Thane Belapur Road, I slowed down to see. If one is talking of road exactly opposite the station, I am not sure if it is safe to go there. It is a small lane with shops and all. THe appearance is not comforting. Please give your views.

The previous person who was running this place one Maheshbhai, has left the city. The person who sits down near the lamp post on the road is the current owner (looks like the watchman). You can tell him that you used to pay 3k before and that is what you will pay. I personally do it for 2.5 for 2 pops.. wouldnt advise others to try for that though. But 3k is definitely do-able.
