Kids and adults in Phils thrive on internet and there are 100,s of cafes in every town large and small. All the girls I know have no prob going on cam and Ive never heard of a ban on cams and mikes. Maybe there is a local ban in some small barangay but I cant beleive a city can ban.

Cheap cams are available for a heck of a lot less than P5000 thats for sure.

I don't live in Philippines, but this is what I have come to understand:

COMPLETELY private booths with web cams are often targets of the authorities. Offically, they are targeting web nudity/sex.

Net cafe's have been raided and harassed for this.

If you are asking for nudity, then maybe your gal is telling a version of the truth. Are the authorities in O city more heavy handed than in other places? Someone else will have to answer that question.

My guess is she's pulling your leg...or some other part of your anatomy. Have you done photo sharing?

I've seen it happen. I saw a guy go drinking (their invitation) with some college girls, they missed the last train, stayed at his place for the night (two ladies in a seperate room) and he was on the carpet two days later. He survived, but gives students a wide berth these days.

OK, I have an employee who is from Bacolod which is a barangay in Ozamiz City. He web cams his family all the time. Illegal, I doubt it. How do I know he is from Bacolod, I hired him and have his paperwork, how do I know he web cams to his family, because all my filipino workers use the next office over to chat / skype / yahoo to their families.

Secondly 5000 peso is over 100 USD... does a web cam cost you 100 USD where you live? Especially a cheap ass chinese knock off? Sure sounds like pure BS to me.

Third, if she knows Western Union then I'm sure she's played the game before, but she is so honest and sweet and love you long time that she is really only try to get money so she can chat to you.

Fourth.. if you not seen her live on cam how do you know it's not some ladyboy or guy with some girls picture he's emailing you? If it really is a she, and she really likes you, she'll get on cam for you.

Thanks a lot for the mass of answers I received about the topic "Ozamis City: webcams prohibited in cafes? ". I've read them well and as you all I'm convinced that somebody is fooling around with me.

So far I didn't send money at all! These days I'm very strict to her (or him). She (he) e-mailed me and chatted with me a few times the past days, but always I'm keep asking her (him) to go to a cafe with webcam. I want to see her (him). Period!

I webcamed a Ozamis City (Zamboanga Del Norte) DIA girl yesterday for an hour and I have webcamed with her a lot in the past 6 months. She was in an internet cafe and I saw around 6 computers with webcams when she turned the camera around.
