Go to an agogo and feast your eyes: you will find everything from a natural Bush to a clean shaven pussy and anything in between. I heard both Phuket and Bali are / were top destinations for Jap ladies. Numbers visiting Bali have fallen off in recent years. I see plenty in Khao San in BKK but no action there.

Non sense or be. If it is true it is "playing" in all japanese / asian locations. In the years here I have seen of course japanese females but I have really not even 1 time seen them partying in a bar or dance club and hooking up with a westerner. If you see them, either in a group of japanese or with bf / husband. Reading around, I hear the Banana club is one of the spots they go for. May be you have already checked that place out? Anyway, I don't think it's worth visiting in Sept just on the hopes of finding a Japanese lady. Plus the rainfall is highest in Phuket in Sept.
