I know the problem is the dollar. But it sounds so much better in my head if I blame the euro! :)

the low dollar is not really a bad thing for america, at the 1.52 it is at today, it is much more dangerous for europe, which is much more heavily reliant upon exports. at the current levels there is a much greater chance of trade deficits being evened out as maerican goods and services are incredibly competitive on a world stage.
Europe is also somewhat to blame, the ECB focuses only on inflation and is not moving rates, causing the euro to continue to inflate,a nd at the current levels it is dangerous for their countries export economies.
and given how few american truly leave the country, the purchasing power abroad is not really a major consideration in whether it is important that a currency appreciate or depreciate. The democrat candidates are preaching protectionism, whcih could well lead to a further erosion of the US$.
A low $ tends to help america, especially as a way of lessing their backlogged current account deficit.

Care to explain to me how an FKK session which cost less than 45 USD in 2002 and now costs more than 75USD in 2008 is good for America? It still doesn't make our working girls competative on the global market.

But for the mongering American it is definitely a bad thing.
Travelling to Europe to monger has become about 50% more expensive than it was 5 years ago. Maybe a little more because of European inflation (€2.50 for a bottle of coke? c'mon!). That's pretty much indisputable. But I also have to wonder if/when this will start to affect things on the homefront. Personally, I depend on "foreign labor" that comes to the States seeking those dollars that are becoming less valuable.
It's a big country and things are different throughout, but at least where I live I can go to an AMP and (usually) get treated like a king for a full hour by a smokin' hot Korean chick, from table shower through FS and just about anything I want in between except anal, for $160. Not a bad deal really, considering it's totally illegal! The flow of hot Korean chicks seems to have lessened in the last couple years mostly because of new immigration rules, but there doesn't seem to be a shortage yet. Still, if the dollar continues to get weaker, will they continue to take that risk to come to work in American AMPs? I have to think many won't, expecially the cuter, younger ones. If their bodies are worth more elsewhere, that's where they will go. And when the supply goes down and demand stays the same, prices go up; I know that much about economics!
So maybe the weak dollar really will help Warren Buffett and Donald Trump and other CEOs and CFOs and SOBs. I couldn't give two shits about them. It ain't gonna help me get laid! And isn't that what's really important?

Personally, I wish it had been going on before I made my trip a couple weeks ago; I wouldn’t have known to look in that ‘Prices’ thread, but I was reading this one. Because as much as I followed the exchange rate tables, it really didn’t sink in until I started spending my hard earned money. Every time I bought something (mongering excluded, that was all budgeted, but still no real bargain) I couldn’t help but calculate in my head that the true price was really one and half times that. And the prices all seemed high to begin with, on par with Manhattan not even counting the exchange rate. I just wasn’t prepared for it and it was a harsh awakening!
If I’m not mistaken a lot of Americans read this forum. So if some American dude of limited means like myself who is considering an FKK trip for the first time (or the first time in a while) reads this discussion and decides it might be prudent to explore other options where the dollar is stronger, I’d expect he would find this discussion much more valuable than one about sperm taste (which is also a totally valid discussion IMO). Dude, if you’re out there and reading this, keep that in mind: it’s not the best time right now.
Just my 2 cents. And, ya know, being that they’re American cents, they’re not worth that much!

OK, an FKK related question. I find myself in Zuerich this weeked with two days to kill. If you were me, would you:
1) Sample the local offerings. If so, any suggestions?
2) Take the train to Stuttgart (nice town) and check out an FKK there. Don't know the Stuttgart club as I haven't been to Stuttgart in over five years and I wasn't impressed with the offerings then compared to Atlantis and Oase at the time.
3) Take the train to Augsburg and check out COLA. I have no experience with either COLA or Augsburg so I'm looking for insight from those that do.
4) Take the train to Frankfurt/Main and check out Palace. Been there many times. Somewhat of a semi-regular. That said, I understand the criticism of the place.
5) Same as above, but add the S Bahn to Bad Homburg. Taxi back and forth to Oase.
Thoughts? Suggestions?

Apples and Oranges. Some of the Zurich area clubs are OK, but it will cost you. Most of those which are similar to an FKK club in terms of selection and vibe (Globe, Ypsilon, Zeuss) are outside of the city and you'll need wheels or train connections to get there.Sakura which is in a nearby suburb is very good, not a large selection, but the upstars area is very nicely done. Again not cheap. The other Zurich options are more like private houses than FKK
Of your other options, COLA is very good and recommended if you happen to be in Bayern and looking for hobbying fun. If you're not necessarily stuck there, I think that Oase is a better option.
I'll be in Oase this coming Sunday if you'd like to hook up. PM me if you're interested.
As it sounds that you would be in FKK land more often than Zurich, would suggest a Zurich and area week-end to get the lie of the land as it were..
The clubs/Saunas have been written up so there is information in the thread.
As a suggestion, one day at Club Zeus would be in order and almost mandatory as it is arguably the top FKK/sauna club in Switzerland. A short train ride - 30 minutes or so to Kussnacht am Rigi - 5-7 minute cab ride. You might enjoy yourself so much that you want to do it again the next day.
As a second club - would suggest Fantasyland Sakura again a FKK/Sauna club. In northern Zurich city.
Should keep you fully entertained in Zurich with web sites lnks below to whet your appetite. As both club picks are also mentioned by Iseeu, you can be sure that you won't be the first ISG'er to partake. Enjoy.

What I like about German FKKs:
+ Girls are girls, mostly under 30
+ Girls not covered w make-up or drenched w perfume - makes me feel I'm not in brothel;)
+ It's safe, don't have to guard my wallet
+ Girls are nude!
+ I see what I buy
+ Incredible bang for the buck (DFK, BBBJ, DATY), compared to RLD, as long as I select carefully
+ I can freshen up before/after fucking, and expect the girl to be clean too
+ Possibility to spend extended time relaxing until I'm ready for more action
- Expensive entry (compared to RLD)
- If I fancy a girl, it sucks to see her return or walking away with some other dude with the same charming smile she gave me
