However lately there is a duty they slap on, so you have to go to the mail place, stand on line, fill out forms get 6 photocopies of your neighbors left-handed smoke shifter, finger prints and whatnnot. It is a one hour ordeal and costs money.

I am joking about the neighbor's left handed smoke shifter but not the rest.

But don't thnk the package is going to arrive without a hitch, FedEx or otherwise.

Fedex will call their house beforehand and let them know it is coming tomorrow and how much money to have ready.

So if you are sending something to a family that has no money this could be an issue.

You should find it in the dictionary. It means "prepaid". However in the context of this board it simply means a women who charges for sex. If you navigate through web sites of latin american escort agencies, you will often find that the girls are offered as "prepago". Certainly prepago sounds much nicer than prostitute.

Other banks "reevaluating" their own Reward Programs INCLUDING Citibank which is hooked up to my am miles. If they want to make me use them right away or even try to take them from me. I don't know what the F I would do considering the miles I have racked up!

Small mom and pop shops that immigrants use to ship stuff back home. A lot cheaper than Fedex because they usually ship in bulk.

Another way to use them is to merge them with something like points. Com so you move it to a different airline. I have been hearing that airlines are in some cases doubling the amount of reward points you need to redeem though!

Exactly what Hioctane said about small companies to do the shipping, most are in yellow pages. I can add two more things. I use one here in Jersey City. They charge 5. 00 for each box (towards insurance) and 1. 50 a pound. Now the lady told me there's a new law that just started everything being sent to Colombia, needs to have a paper in the box with a list of contents. Or she needed a list of the boxes contents not really sure. Anyway they get picked up like twice a week she told me it would take a week to reach Medellin, but in reality it got delivered to Castropol in 13 days, still I'll take it at that price.

I only tried it once with something non-critical. It was not the best results :P It took 2 months to get here and some stuff was damaged.

Usps $75 per box but box is pretty small since you have to use their boxes.

Any info on this airline? I see the flights from FLL to Ibague are really cheap. That is my next trip for business and investments purposes. Does anyone have any info regarding this airline.

If anyone is thinking of being in Bog area for semana Santa. From what my sources tell me in Colombia. This place will be off the hook. Kinda like spring break type places. Lots of gnd and semi or non pros and pros as well. So if you are thinking of going there I would recommend this city. Probably by bus about 3 hours to get there. Recommend you go from airport to terminal via taxi go to bus station advertising Melgar. Probably about $20 USD to get there on the higher end buses. Get off the stop at Melgar and start looking for rooms or hotels. There are so many all over the palce. Make sure your place has a pool or are near one that you can use for a small fee. Will not regret this. Pm me for any info. Glad to help out in any way possible.

I flew Aires once. But it was on the now-defunct route from NYC to Bogota. I loved them, had no problem with them, have not flown domsetically with them yet.

Melgar the bus far from Bogota should be 14 or 15000 pesos no more! And yes Melgar is REAL good during Semana Santa. Lots of horny low class Bogota girls hahahahaah
