The women always think they are coming to a better life, then when they arrive and see his situation they are like what the fuck; is a green card really worth this?

Take leave from your job and move to Thailand for 6 months. Live with her. After 6 months you will know whether it can work or not. Ignore the naysayers on this site. I know a number of people who have married bargirls and are in happy relationships. I also know a lot who to scammed. Each case is individual and you have to work things out for yourself.

He's multi-skilled and makes some money working online, which is the best choice as long one keeps quiet about it. They seems to be happy and all, but the wife came with one or two kids, now since he's a generous guy he doesn't mind providing for all. Being married you only have to deposit THB 400,000 for an one year-permit (plus taxing paperwork), that was probably the main reason why he did that. If they wanted to divorce that's simple, a spouse can attack only assets acquired after marriage. Hooker girls are with guys for economic reasons. Being a permanent couple is not absolutely impossible, however you need to live with a girl full time for 2 years at least to really start to know her. If part time, then increase the years accordingly.

The quick "love" thing is bullshit. Real love comes very slowly over a very long time. Quick "love" disappears very quick too, due to a single minor incident.

I have known my Thai GF for 13 years part time. Has very low English skills, but can read (without knowing the meaning) and listens to western songs. She has changed a lot. In initial few years, she expected our relationship to be temporary so was never that serious. In fact left me more than once. She offered me chance to find someone "better" several times.

She has changed a lot. Fortunately many changes are positive. She is more horny than she used to be and less stress. Initially she was even scared of guys (previously experienced violence from ex partner). Only now (perhaps last 2 years) do we both accept the relationship can be permanent. We accept the other person's weaknesses. She knows I am always coming back.

I told you that shit was negotiable. Most people report a price of 1000 baht on Soi 6. I say that I always negotiate 700 baht. It appears chicks are now negotiating to 1200 baht. I guess soon that will be the "normal" price.
