Just like in baseball, you can't hit 1.000 all the time, well yesterday I experienced a clear strike out! Even though the day was a disappointment, there are great lessons to be learned from my experience.

In the early afternoon I stopped by LA Cafe to see what was available during the day. I found that the second floor doesn't even open until 7 PM, and it was just before noon. Not to be discouraged, I sat down near the bar to have a beer. As the old saying states, "Strike while the iron is Hot" should have been my guiding light yesterday. I meet a stunning 20 yo student named Shelia who told me she lived about 2 hours from the LA Cafe. She really looked young, and as part of our conversation, she showed me her ID. I was somewhat convinced that she wasn't even 17-18, let alone 20 - so I pressed for ID. Thanks for all the warnings in the forum from my fellow mongers. About the time we were really starting to get to know one another, I found myself surrounded by about four other sweeties who barely were 4's. Individually, we went through the standard questions: what is your name?, where are your from?, where are you staying?, first trip to Manila?, how long will you be here?, etc, etc, etc. To make a long story short, I arranged to meet her at LA CAfe in two hours, and we would return to my hotel. She said that would be fine since she had to get home at a decent hour. I asked her how much, and she quoted P2,000 for ST. Things were looking up!

Disappointment #1. I returned about an hour and a half later, and she was no where to be found. I saw one of her friends, and asked where Shelia was. I was told she left with someone about an hour ago. I decided to return to the Hyatt until after 7PM when the second floor opened.

Disappointment #2. Even though the second floor opens at 7 PM, no one really arrives until after the live band start playing around 9:30 PM. I returned to the LA Cafe about 8:15 and filled my time talking to the bar wenches. Alot of them are really interesting, and as it turned out, those conversations were the height of the evening. Once the band started to play it was like the women came out of the woodwork, but it was an long hour and a half of drinking SM's.

Disappointment #3. Suddenly I was surrounded by a bevy of women in all shapes, sizes, and beauty. As anyone knows who have been to the LA Cafe, when they get busy it can be difficult to really get a 100% look at the full package being offered. I probably talked with 6-7 ladies, some I thought had possibility, some were graciously thrown back into the pond. Eventually I met Ashley, who through our initial conversations seemed to offer great potential. She kept whispering in my ear what she would do if I chose her. All sounded great! Since I was only interested in ST, we agreed on P2,000 and off we went. As I was leaving, I had this "feeling" that I probably didn't spend enough time in the vetting process, but the little head was starting to take controll of the big head.

Disappointment #4. Actually Disappointment #4 was EVERYTHING that happened one we returned to the hotel room. Immediately she started pushing for LT. Since I had to leave in the morning for a business appointment at 6:30 AM, I didn't want to deal with getting myself up, showered, and deal with the departure of my companion from the prior evening. Next came all the sob stories about her two kids, Christmas is just 19 days from now, I she didn't have any money for their presents. Then more pushing for LT. Finally, I was very direct with her and told her I appreciated her circumstances, but it would be ST only. I did however offer an incentive depending on how the evening went. We started with a massage that included constant chatter about the dreadful financial condition she was in with regards to Christmas gifts for her children, her ex-husband, etc. Even if I could have totally blocked out the chatter, the massage was probably the worst massage I have ever gotten. OK, the massage is over, time to proceed to the real reason we are there.

Dead fish is an understatement! I won't go into all the details (it really wasn't very pretty), but I will summarize the evening in the following way:
A. Worst BJ I have ever had
B. Totally unresponsive to DATY
C. Constantly wanted to cover her body (which was pretty good)
D. Unwilling to do any position other than missionary.

Finally, I did what I should have done when she arrived - I asked her to leave. I shouldn't have been surprised, when she wasn't happy with the P2,000 (which I think was about P1,500 too much), but felt that I would chalk this one up to "experience".

LESSONS LEARNED.
1. When you are presented with a real stunning beauty, "Strike when the iron is hot", and don't delay.
2. Let you big head take the lead as you go through the "interview process". Believe me, you little head with thank you for it.
3. Let your instincts govern what will really happen later, not what you "hope" will happen.
4. Listen to your big head when the "add-on sale" begins. Again, your little head will thank you for it.
5. Remember that a pro baseball player with a .400 batting average is considered a super-star. Mongers would (and should) never accept that 4 out of 10 is good, but you have to strike out once in a while!

Overall Day 1 was the highlight of the trip, and I will certainly look forward to another trip to Manila.

I am off to Singapore in the morning, so the saga will continue.

Oddly enough you do not get that from the girlies. They know that most of the time they are asking too much, so they settle for what they really wanted in the first place. Like haggling at the international market in Kuala Lumpur. You point at something, the guy says, "3000 ringets. " You say, "1500. " He says, "Deal. " It is just part of the culture of mongering. If there was a Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price on all of them, there might be less haggling, but I doubt it.

Nice report. Next time you spend an hour in LA and don't find anything that appeals to you, I suggest that you head out for a while. Make a left outside the door and walk up the street to Amazonia. Spend about 30 minutes there. Still nothing? Leave Amazonia, turn right, walk up to Padre Faura, turn right again and head up to GPoint, which, at least in terms of ambiance is much nicer than LA. Hang around G Point for an hour or so, listen to the live music, see if anyone appeals to you. If not, take the 15 minute walk again back to LA, by which time an entire new crew will have replaced the ones you didn't like.

I suggest not haggling if the girl is hot and you want her.

I only haggle if the girl is substandard. There's so many choices....my goodness, why settle for something you do not really feel passionate about? I haggle only cause the perfect girl is not there. But otherwise, I submit to her requested payment but HAGGLE over time and what to perform. She 1--% of the time complies.

Manila Trip Report Day Four:

Went sight-seeing with CB Girl. We went to Rizal Park, The Manila Zoo, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She was acting strange all day. On her way home, I sent her a text asking if anything was wrong. She sent back "I cannot pretend anymore! This will the last time I go out with you. " I let her know that was fine and best of luck. Then she gets home and gives mom the news. It must not of been good. The next hour I got around twenty text messages. High drama. I told her I appreciate her honesty buy no thanks.

After all the drama it was around 9PM. I headed to Amazonia Bar where a few old women tried to talk to me and decided that wasn't my scene. I wanted some play but I wanted it to be strange. Hopefully Anne would not be around LA Cafe. Looks like LA Cafe bought the club across the street so I figured I would give that a try. It was nice. A lot of TVs, no real smoke to speak of, and probably fifteen girls to the three guys in there. No real stunners yet so I bide my time. In walks Anne's best friend. I let her know that I am just there to get a drink and that if she sees Anne, to let her know that I was sitting there by myself. She nods, she has tried to f**k me before so I am thinking she wants to stay on my good side. I really didn't need any more drama tonight. Then the train comes in. Probably fifteen japanese businessmen roll in. It was insane. I saw every girl in the place, including one trying to talk to me, pull out their cell phone and start texting away. Then comes the great deluge from the club across the street.

The place with thick with girls. And I finally spy tonight's winner. She is with two hot friends. One looked like Rosario Dawson and I was a bit tempted but instead went for her Leslie. Leslie had a smoking body. Most chicks here have some curves but not a lot. Leslie had some nice old DD's and a little junk in the trunk. But no real fat around the waist, arms, or legs. Very nice. She also has braces which, for some reason I cannot explain, is a big, big turn on for me. We exchange the same stupid questions that always come up. Negotiate 2000 pesos for ST then head back to my hotel. On the way back to the hotel I go to stop at a, yep you guessed it, 7-11. She asks if she can come in with me. I tell her that is fine but I am going in to buy some condoms. She reluctantly waits outside.

She showers, I shower. As I am drying off she asks if she can have a some juice from the mini-bar. I show her the alternate minibar that I have stocked and tell she is welcome to the finest things that 7-11 has to offer. I come out and she is lying naked on the bed, no towel, no sheets. To my delight I see she has the Tully Sevalis going on downstairs which is damn rare out here. I lay down next to her and we start going at it hard. She kisses real good, real deep. Our hands are starting to roam all over each other. Her hand finally makes it down stairs and she touches my little guy. She lets out a gasp, pulls her hand away. When I stop kissing her and pull away she laughs a little, apologizes and tells me that is bigger than she expected is all. Note I didn't say big, just bigger than she expected. I thought it was kind of cute. I am statistically average for a white guy, so it was kind of nice. The look of shock on her face was quite genuine.

I started with some DATY and she was very receptive. A lot of dirty talk, which I found very refreshing. I got her good and ready before we started the main event. On went the cover for some mish. That girl had me f**king her hard. She asked to be on top. She grinded me pretty hard with some nice CG action. She either came or faked it real good. She gushed all over me. She asked me to switch to doggie so I did. A real nice view. For the finish she pulled off the cover, had me lay on my back and gave me the best BBBJTCCIM I have ever had. This girl had some serious skills in bed. The sort of shit you look for in a girl, but don't want to start to think about what it took for her to get that good. We laid in bed for a while, making out and she asked me if I was ready fo a round two to which I obliged.

On went the cover. We started with covered mish and that was all it took. With all the biting and dirty talk from here it was too much and I got my second cup of coffee. Before she left we exchanged cell numbers. To which she started sending me dirty text messages throughout day five. But that is for day five.

Manila Report Day Five:

Psycho CB Girl text'd me about 30 times before lunch. I really wish you could put people on ignore like in yahoo I'm. She just doesn't understand that it was interesting recreation that was ruined when she went all drama queen on me. So now I have to find other ways to spend my day. My days now pretty much involve sleeping in, getting on the computer and scouring message boards, and then sleeping again until 5-6PM. Leslie from day Four wants to go get dinner. I shower and get dressed and send her a text. No reply. I was typing another text to tell her to just meet me at LA Cafe if she wants to hook up and get one from her telling me she overslept and was on her way. We agree to just eat somewhere at Robinson's when she gets here. I get her text and meet her in the lobby. Leslie is a nursing student. The night I met her she was wearing a racy little dress that showed off her huge rack and ample posterior. Today she was just wearing regular clothes, but was still quite a knock out. We made our way to Robinson's (one block from Executive Plaza) and we eat dinner at TGI Fridays.

We make small talk. She is asking a lot of questions. Trying to glean a little about American culture. She was shocked when I told her that I knew people who would of taken a cab rather than walk one block in Manila. She asked me other things, specifically she wanted to know if our culture looked down on women who have sex with men for money. I told her that our culture does, but I don't really give a sh*t. How can I, as a monger, look down on a provider? She tells me that she used to have a bf from east asia who had set her up in an apartment and helped pay for her school. She said that after a while she didn't really like him anymore and left. No she lives in a dorm and relies on the patronage of nice men such as myself to get through school. I ask for the bill and she asks me if I am in a hurry. I told her no and asked if she would like to get a couple of drinks. Turns out she doesn't drink. I ask if there is anything she would like to do. She says she wants to go back to my hotel. No argument there.

We get back, turn on the TV, and lay in bed watching TV and occasionally kissing and feeling each other up. This goes on for about an hour. Eventually she grabs my little guy and starts giving him a real nice and deep BBBJ. The clothes come off. I DATY. She tastes clean and her vagina is real small. She is very responsive and very vocal. Eventually she is screaming for me to f**k her. On goes the johnny cap for the main event, mish (very hard, very passionate) to doggie to BBBJTCCIM. Very, very good oral skills. I told her that it was no problem and I escorted her to the front door of the hotel and saw her off. I had offered her money in the hotel room but she refused it. I have read about freebies in the forums before, but never experienced one. Definitely a first for me. Off to sleep and Day Six.

Once in the taxi (hotel should write down the number of the taxi) the driver knows that he has to start the meter and shouldn't try to rip you off and he will ask you where to go. Just say LA Cafe! Believe me, you are not the first and will not be the last to ask to be taken to the LA Cafe.

Second, if you do not want to ask the bell boys for a taxi to the LA Cafe, how in the world are you going to get a girl in the hotel.

Third, act like you belong there. If you show any signs of being neverous, you will be a target for any scams out there.

Found the place ..its a stone's throw from Hyatt Regency Hotel as well as The Heritage Hotel. Reason I ask was to have a bearing on where the place is in relations to my hotel. Didnt want to ask the bell boys just in case they think I am a pervie. D*** it..traffic is murder though..take a bit of time to get there by car.

Anyway, local contact has been making home deliveries. Yet to sleep alone. HAHA.

To avoid the driver from taking you to Timbuktu and back charging you an arm and a leg, just tell them, if you are on Edsa Ave, go strait to Roxas Blvd, turn right and strait to the Hyatt. These are major arterials, he only needs to turn two times to get to the Hyat, one block east of Roxas, from Edsa thus can't run up the meter by running aroundl. LA cafe is on Del Pilar, couple blocks north of Hyatt

from many parts of metro manila, and especially from the ermita area, light rail is much faster and cheaper than taxi for getting to quezon city and many other areas. first trains start about 5:30 am and the last trains out of the station are at 10 pm. fares on any one line are from about 9 pesos to 15 pesos, depending how far you ride. you purchase tokens at the entry station and deposit them as you exit your end station. fares to all destinations are clearly posted at all stations. you can buy passes for longer periods of time, but i never checked their prices. for the routes they cover they are much, much faster than taxis because there are no red lights and no traffic jams, and they clip right along at a good speed. there are three lines.

line 1 runs north and south from pasay city (south) to caloocan city (north). at the southern end it starts at taft avenue and edsa, about six blocks east of the edsa entertainment complex. it runs north over taft avenue until rizal park, wiggles around manila city hall and other buildings, then continues north over rizal ave. until it ends in the north at edsa. (edsa actually forms a semi-circle around the south, east and northern sides of the metro area.) access closest to ermita is where taft crosses pedro gil or un ave.

line 2, sometimes called the mrt, runs along the median of edsa all the way from taft avenue (right at the southern end of lrt 1, six blocks from the edsa entertainment complex) all the way around the east side of the metro area and ends in quezon city near sm north. they plan to extend it to caloocan city to connect to the north end of lrt 1, but that's a few years off. at present it forms about 150 degrees of the edsa semicircle around the east side of the metro area. access to the makati area is at several spots, but the big one is ayala station at sm near glorietta mall and the big hotels.

line 3 runs east and west across the mid-part of the approximate semi-circle formed by the other two lines. west end is recto station, an easy and covered walk from doroteo jose station on lrt 1 in quiapo. it runs east, eventually crossing line 2 at cubao (in southern quezon city, site of araneta coliseum, farmers market, etc.), continuing on to marikina city and santolan. you can walk the connection between lines 2 and 3 through two malls and a covered walkway at the coliseum, but it's a good five minute walk.

line 3 is newer, wider, always air-conditioned, and much less crowded than the other two. lines 1 and 2 can get quite crowded during rush hour on weekdays, so much so that you may end up passing up a couple trains that are literally too packed to permit anyone else in. but they run about 5 minutes apart, and you'll eventually find one you can onto.

there is some potential for robberies on lines 1 and 2. i never saw it happen, but locals told me stories, mostly of the third and fourth hand variety. typical m.o. is a couple guys working together, one of whom snatches a purse, wallet, or pack, and dashes off a train just before the doors close. sometimes they do it in a crowded station. one guy bumps and distracts you, the other guy grabs your stuff and runs the other way back through the crowd. being big or looking ornery doesn't deter them., but it's not hard to protect yourself from them. carry valuables in a money belt or under your clothing in front. i always carried a small pack. on line 3 i carried it on my back. when i switched to the other lines or entered busy stations such as doroteo jose or ayala, i put my valuables in it, switched it to the front, with straps through my upper arms. i crossed my arms across the pack in front of me. people gave me funny looks, but i felt very secure this way, even when the train was very crowded. you get used to the claustrophobic experience in the crowded cars, and people generally behave themselves. several young western women who rode the lines regularly told me they'd never once been groped or pinched, even in crowded cars. btw, trains are typically about four cars each, and the first cars on lines 1 and 2 are reserved for elderly, women, and the disabled.

if you plan on being in the metro area any length of time, take a few minutes and about 175 pesos to a national book store (almost all the malls and other shopping areas) and buy a copy of the smaller version of metro manila citiatlas. it shows the whole metro area in great detail, including the lrt lines.

Nice report, Skip. I've ridden both the LRT (line 1) and MRT (line 2): I can speak to the crowded nature of these trains during rush hour. You really don't want to find yourself at a station near the middle of a line at that time. I once had to let 4 trains by at about 5:30pm because they were too crowded. If you don't like those kind of crowds, then you'd best use a taxi or only use the trains during the middle of the day or later at night. And while I did not have a problem with pickpockets, I can see the potential for them. The usual precautions apply.

Why use the train and jeepney taxi is cheap in manila most case is 150 peso that 3 usd ,I once got sick with the smog in the jeenpey never will take it again.
