It may be a lot of work though to really get it working correctly.

There is a page **** WIKI, which does try that. But at the moment only for Brazil.
Yes, every report shall mark the place on G-map.. would ease the search. Great. (but useless for my Chinese friends... almost none of then knows how to read a map ..lol)
