Prostitution is a legal profession in Germany where they also pay tax. There is no requirement for the girls to get tested regularly, all they need is to just have "the Hure Pass" a certificate showing that they work legally as a prostitute.

I fully believe you are aware that getting full STD Screen and getting treatment after you get infected are two different things. Unless you develop a symptom and get referral from a GP; In majority of cases the person will still need to pay for testing. This decision certainly makes perfect sense. Just imagine what would happen to the health care system, the reaction of taxpayers paying the system, if every girl / man visiting brothels could get a free test every time they are in contact with different girls.
