MP and I decided to check out Harem (old Pheromones). I think there were maybe 5 customers in the bar and 30-40 girls. 3 sets of girls. The topless model group was easily the least attractive for me. I really liked one girl the second I walked in. She hesitated at approaching so another one came to sit with me. I really should have kicked the one I was sitting with out but she was friendly enough to sit and chat. I knew we weren't staying long.
If you're in town it's worth checking out. After the first contracts are up, there may not be any girls remaining.

I hope they stole the old name because of the old Harem 5 years was located down on Soi Diamond near Second Road, then they told the location right across from Bacarra which is now empty and used at night to sell sunglasses, they might have also been at the space right in front of Soi Diamond that you walk up the stairs which might be called Eden now? it was a bad and poorly run operation.
After the Christmas and New year holiday which runs around two weeks many of the places slap a two week no days off on the girls so once the 2nd comes around they take off and go home to see parents and their kids that has been my experience living here.
I arrived in Pattaya yesterday for my yearly pilgrimage to Thailand. I took Eva Air, as they are member of Star Alliance and Philippines Airline is not, but the airfare was more expensive. Business class on PA costs about the same as economy premium on Eva. Took Mr T from the airport to my hotel, at a slightly higher cost than usual. They now charge 1,100 bahts.
I had reserved a room at the LK Empress, on soy 12 & beach road. This was my first time at this hotel, as Agoda gave me a good rate. So far, I am not too impressed with this hotel. I like the location as I rely on FLs from beach road. The room furniture is a bit dated, the towels appear to have been used and reused for many years. A number of other things don't work properly but it did not bother me so far. They do have a nice breakfast however, one of the best.
As usual, I hit the soapy massage on soy honey on my first day. I have always enjoyed a good soapy massage as my first punt of the trip, more so in the past than lately. It is not as much fun these days, but I still enjoy it. After that, I took a nice walk on beach road. A good chunk of it is closed due to ongoing work. Later, I met an expat buddy and we had dinner at the Pattaya beer garden, at the entrance of Walking Street. I called it an early night as I was tired from the trip. But, I was pleasantly surprised at the number of doable FLs I noticed on beach road. I could have easily picked 5 or 6 of them on that short walk. Hence, from my perspective things are looking good.

The vast majority of women hooking in Pattaya now have baby damage, are overweight / unfit, have lots of ugly tattoos, or have unattractive looks and personalities overall. Even in the overpriced go go bars that want $200 for sex.
It definitely isn't what it used to be at all. It was easy to ignore the butter faces years ago when they all had nice fit thin farm girl bodies. It's harder to get around an unattractive face when it's attached to a stretch marked soggy body with saggy tits.
I wish it was different. But it's not.

Indonesia, Phillippines, Cambodia, Singapore, USA, Australia, UK, Germany, Spain, Brazil, Cuba, etc. Personally I wouldn't touch 95% or more of the girls in Pattaya or Bangkok. That number is 99% in Phnom Penh. For my taste I have seen photos of girls from The Good Old Days and I would have bolted from Thailand if those were the best of the best faces.

About 35 trips in total. In the old days prices were cheaper, girls were sweeter and would spend more time with you. I had them making me coffee in the am, etc. Now they're about a ST quick turn so they can go back to the club for another guy. Many even 3 in a night. They rarely have an excited attitude, spend too much time on those damn cell phones, and of course have a book of canned lies on why they can't stay for LT, etc. Oh well, still a ton of fun. Soi 6 is still the best deal!! Philippines comes in 2nd for me in SEA. If you can shake them off. They all want to stay a few days with you. Cuba is #1 on the East Coast / Caribbean side. [/QUOTE]I'd love to visit this mythical Pattaya filled with beautiful 20ish year old girls intent on providing fabulous service to anyone except us ugly old farangs who fail miserably to make a connection with them. I would welcome the opportunity to strike out with one, two, hell, maybe even three of them in town. But my observation of the place is pretty close to that of The Cane, Rick Rock and some others here. The problem is finding a girl whose looks and demeanor (yes, even when she is not looking directly at me, not even aware of me, and therefore is not reacting to how repulsive I am) are such that I'd want to step up to bat for her in the first place. And I have had at least three 2-3 day and night trips in Pattaya over the past couple of months.

You took 2 dozen pics and had them developped back home. One or two came out good, the rest was only for memory's sake.
Today you take hundreds of pics of one girl and keep only the ten best pics. You see the result at once and improve angles and postures as you go. Different photo game alltogether.

I did not see any overweight, unfit girls. As to the ugly tattoos, that is your opinion. I am a "don't care" when it comes to tattoos, they don't bother me.
I have moved away from gogo girls a long time ago, due to escalating prices, but I have been pretty satisfied so far with FLs, and there are plenty of them in Pattaya.
