You are correct on all points. I don't respond to "how much cash should I bring" posts any more because after all the discussions about this it's just guys being stubborn. Even if the ATM exchange rates were not competitive. And they are competitive. The convenience and risk of loss you avoid by not traveling will lots of cash make it worthwhile.

There wasn't that many scammers at Vera Cruz. It seems there's more in Bogota's Santa Fe. By scammers I mean reneging on what was negotiated.

I kind of treated the 40 K COP (30 K + 10 K) as a 30 minute ladydrink / lapdance interview. If I like, then I negotiated for more.

Yes Chica friendly, one friend visited Medellin stayed in a nice hotel 20 $ guest fee and some Airbnb apartments I have researched have house rules which don't allow guest after certain times. I'm just looking for a few specific suggestions.

Don't say you want to party just say you have friends in the city and want to make sure you won't get charged for visits. But honestly, most owners know exactly what a group of men are doing there so they would have to be assholes not to warn you about a no chica policy before taking your money.

The prepagos website in itself can be a hit or miss, but its far from the only website. There's a few websites. There's a Colombian review site that reviews girls from ads on websites that has worked great for me but I think ill get in trouble if I post it here. PM me if you can. There are some girls here who don't really know the gringo game and only charge 100 k for a nice GFE an BBBJ. Make sure not to inform them how cheap they are LOL, these girls will rarely go any more than 150, you can even get a nice 3 some for 120 k.

Also I noticed a huge difference in Parque Lleras from a year ago til now, Last year they were charging 150 k. I went there last weekend just to see what its like and it seems all the half decent up to the top notch hoes are going straight to Gustos and skipping the park, you can see all the beautiful ones walking past everybody and straight into Gustos where they can charge $400 USD to a drunk gringo. Good for them, but it was hilarious when a run down hoe approached me and I said wsup and she immediately said 300 k an hour, I laughed in her face and took a cab to Fase 2 and had a beautiful girl ride me like a rabbit for 10 minutes till I bust and then went home. The F2 girls fuck like pros, at 190 k its not a bad last resort. If you don't mind paying 300 k then join Vanes whatsapp group. I took one from there and damn she was fine. But there's so many gringos on there talking about how cheap 300 k is that the prices will definitely be going up soon.

If you're in a group and you all speak Spanish, then you should definitely hit up the casas together and collect whatsapp numbers. A lot more affordable. Don't forget facebook, easiest way to setup girls before you even get there and the most likely to give GFE and BBBJ other than the apartment girls. Don't ever ask them the price first, just get into what good time you want to have with them. Eventually they will ask how much you are giving them and then you name your price. Or if they try to tell you a high price just say you never pay more than 150. It sometimes works. If they refuse to budge on a high price then say fuck it and pay it if she's worth it, the goal here is to not make it seem like you'll just say yes to anything and lets them know they're not dealing with a desperate guy. But in the end just lighten it all up with a joke and the vibe fixes instantly.

If you're not scared to get a little grimy then you can hit up el centro streets specifically on a Saturday afternoon, you can find something pretty nice for $10-$30 in the midst of some nastiness.

Just don't put all your hopes in certain girls, you may think your going to see this or that girl and when you get here you end up doing a whole different thing. But you will enjoy regardless, its a huge city full of hoes, and to be honest, although it can be fun to just hang out there, I'm convinced Parque Lleras is the worst place to start. If Parque Lleras is your only plan then I can't knock that but you should know you are missing out on a lot.

But if you like to walk around and just see beautiful women, Poblado malls are pretty impressive, also the train, Centro surprises me sometimes, fuck man what am I saying this whole city is full of beautiful women.

Depends on which prepagos website. There's a lot of bait and switch with the ad sites.

Sometimes, if they accept you, they will let you pay 50 k to enter and go to the bar. There's no rule against taking a girl back to your place, since that's your only option if you're not booked there. Who wants to pay a 50 k cover charge if the girls aren't available?

If you just show up at the door, they won't let you in.

[/QUOTE]Wow! Prices in Vane's group have gone up in the last 4 weeks. It was 250 k the last two weeks in August and it was the price Vane posted in her thread. Vane gets 50 k of that price so I thought it was comparable to a Facebook chica asking 200 k and using Vane was far more efficient for me. Although it must be said that I had to settle for second and third choices at 250 k. I never asked if first choices were available for more.

I always felt that even if the girl turns out to be a dud then you still got to spend a little time with a beautiful girl while she is naked. Here's my question to you. When I come to Medellin I normally spend a lot of my party time in Parque Llares. I go to Gustos and the main busy bars down there then end the night at Phase II if it's a Saturday. I always fear that if it Saturday night and I'm not at LLares, I'm missing out trying hit or miss places. Probably because on here we rarely see people talk about places outside of Llaress. Of course you here a few mentions of Poblado or Laureless, but because it's so rare it almost comes across as subpar to LLares. Can anyone tell me a bar area that I could uber to at say 10 pm on a Saturday that is equally as busy or fun as LLares. I don't want a few hole in the wall local bars. I'm talking. Bars next door to other packed bars and dance clubs like the LLares vibe has? Street walkers outside of the bars waiting for attention etc etc. ? I need like specifics streets. I want to be at LLares and the say to my friend I know a place similar to this place with different people. I'll call an uber, we are going to." Any suggestions. Parque Lleras has all the hookers hanging around, because that's where all the gringos are. All of the other places have plenty of hookers on a Saturday night, except most of them are out partying with friends and family. Parque Lleras is too expensive when they are buying their own drinks.

Carrera 70 in Laureles is the best hope outside of Parque Lleras. It's easy to navigate. All the clubs are on Carrera 70 between the Estadio and UPB. Just tell the Uber "La setenta cerca del Estadio. " There are plenty of clubs and there are usually some girls working the street. A lot of Venezuelans hang out in the area.

The girls there are more subtle than in Lleras, which makes them harder to spot. There are several love motels in the area.

If you're feeling more adventurous, you can try Bello. I don't know the streets, but you should be able to find it on the map. There's a large group of prepagos who party there all the time.

Warning: Nighttime in Bello you're completely outside the gringo zone. I would not advise taking a stroll looking for streetwalkers. Stick to the clubs.

I just got back last week from a month in Medellin, wow what an adventure. And for as long as I was there, I still didn't do everything the city has to offer!

Finally got caught up on work here at home, so lets get into the report, starting with the guides. I highly recommend you do this. Your trip will not be the same without one. Ever since Rio, its the only way I'll roll. (and I now that I know better, I wish I did this in Buenos Aires. Go to that forum to witness my struggles and shenanigans HAHA).

You can check my review on Cali and see what I went through over there before I found a reputable contact. Much of the same first happened here in Medellin with the first driver / guide I met. I met him through the apartment company (same company as in Cali too), as they used him as transportation from the airport. Not only was he more expensive, he was not responsive or responsible. And his intel was garbage. The guy's name is Andre and he is a "kid guide". If you want to stay away from him, PM and I'll give you more details. I not only needed help with chicas, I needed help with my dj controller which was damaged during the flight! It was making a very annoying screeching noise through my speakers and it was killing me. What the hell was I going to do? Even if I could find a place to help, how was I going to get there? This had me looking.

So I went through the guide section of WorldTraveler69's map / list looking for help and started texting it down at random. You know what they say, when the student is ready the master will appear. William, (the best damn guide in Medellin) was the first to text me back!

I explained my predicament and he assured me he could help. When we met at the arranged time, he was inviting, friendly, confident, and with a good, clean, reliable vehicle. I let him know how I found him and that, yes chicas were on the agenda, but there are more pressing concerns at the moment. Willi hadn't encountered anything like this before and saw it as a challenge! Such an incredible wealth of knowledge about this city (and flora / fauna / Colombia in general, it's encyclopedic). He took me to a repair shop, and stayed with me the entire afternoon until the repair was completed (and yes it was a Repair, not a Replace). I had a little bucket list of mine for Medellin, he asked me about it and chuckled. I didn't know at the time, but every one of those was going to be accomplished before I left, thanks to Willi.

Willi knows Medellin like the back of his hand and he customizes every experience for your specific personal needs. He really reads his customers and gives them the best personal experience for them. He stays with you and makes sure you stay safe.

Don't want to just tour a coffee farm but was more interested in buying one? Have medical issues that you don't want to go into debt for? You wouldn't be Willi's first customer on either count. If you want to go fishing but aren't particularly athletic, no problem, he's going to money you up. Want to go birding into a corner of the country with river trails that take you across slippery rocks, knotted tree roots, and steep inclines, well out of reach of any other tour company and only where professional photographers would dare venture? He's your man. He's in his 50's and with a full pack he's still outpacing me! Oh BTW, he brought a bag so he could pick up other people's pollution and trash because he believes in leaving a place better than you found it. In addition to chicas and airport transfers, we went on a campfire hike and a city tour / real estate excursion. I used him for all of it, at this point I consider him a friend and I cannot recommend him enough.

Now on to the chicas.

The first place I went to was one of Willi's recommendations, a place called "Energy". Without him I would have never found it. It is beyond discreet, there's no signage. In a somewhat residential area, it looks like a regular building with a townhouse garage. Willi knows everyone there of course, and we parked right in the garage haha!

The girl I chose was Natalia, short, dark hair, sweet face / smile, she's all natural, in great shape, incredible warm personality / attitude, wonderful sense of humor, . In fact we enjoyed eachother so much we ended up seeing eachother every weekend I was there until I left, a total of 4 times. And we still talk.

The second place we went to was Lutron, and we went there twice on different occasions. There isn't much I am going to say about the place that hasn't been mentioned before. I saw Nicole and Celeste. They are both absolute stunners, the girls at that place are like models. The sex is absolutely great. Each girl does her own thing in her own way. I don't think its a ymmv, as much as it is that each experience is going to be its own thing. But the place has an odd sterility and coldness about it. Nobody is particularly friendly or warm over there, not even the staff. I love the facilities and the grounds through, very well built and located. If you want more details, just ask or PM.

Ok I'm going to to stop now because if I don't I am going to spiral into depression. I broke up with that girl I met in Cali a few days ago. It wasn't working out.
