I mostly go to places for locals now. If you rock up to a nice brothel for Thai guys, you won't see many fatties, very few tattoos, and often even no moms at all. Soapy I just stopped at last week up in Isaan the papasan told me he had a "no moms" rule for staffing. It's good business for him. Thai guys don't want used up women.
Where are these places? How do they work and what is the price? I think we all would appreciate some detailed advice from an insider.
One of my massage chicks yesterday commented to me that there is no high season in Pattaya anymore. Kind of an exaggeration I think but she seems to be lamenting the lack of business. Certainly at the guesthouse that I am staying in it used to be full in Dec-Jan, but nowadays is only half full.
Hi guys,
Planning a short stay in Jomtien (work related) and wonder if anyone have some good advice regarding this place? Both regarding food, girls and places to hang out. I did a search RTFF, but have to say that not much turned up.
Chico.

Chico.
There are quite a few beer bars around Rompho Market in Jomtien, also there is one small go-go bar near the corner of Jomtien Beach Rd. And Thappraya Rd. You will also find several beer bars and the Kit-Kat gentlemen club in this area for afternoon action. But Walking Street is also only 10 minutes away by taxi or baht bus. Jomtien has a more relaxed vibe with better beaches, than Pattaya. You will also find some very good restaurants in the area, like Bruno's, Nathan's or seafood places at the beginning of Jomtien Beach Rd. Check Tripadvisor.

A guy told me why and I don't remember exactly but something is planned for the Rompho marker area, like some kind of construction. So some bars has already closed because their contracts ended and it is very noticable in the area. It feels like it is dying and like half of the bars are closed now. Still worth to check out of course but I personally find more of interest in Soi 7 and the bars in Soi Whitehouse.

What will be the truth?
I'll be visiting Pattaya next week, hoping to meet a few girls. Any advice on where to stay for (hoping for the lower end $30-40/ night if possible)?
I went back a few pages on this forum and from what I could tell, being close to Soi 6 is a good bet.
A couple of questions:
- Are most hotels girl friendly in the area?
- When booking the room, do I select Single or for two adults? (Hoping to have LT a night or two).
Appreciate any help!

And yes, book the room for double occupancy just to be sure.

Appreciate any help!
You can google 'pattaya girl friendly hotels' and get several websites but almost all of the hotels will let you bring in one girl, only a handful let you bring in more than one at a time. The baht buses run in a big oval going towards walking street on Beach road and towards soi 6 on second road so a hotel in that area works great. Being a new visitor to the city it might be good to get a hotel that's easy to find, some of those side soi's are very narrow and you can easily pass them up. I loved the green view hotel, suggest you consider it. Walk out and turn left and your feet from walking street, turn right and its easy to jump on a baht bus heading towards soi 6. Super easy to find and all motobike taxi's know where walking street is if you ask them to take you there. Hard part will be having a taxi know how to get you to that hotel. If you need a pool then the baywalk residence on beach road is another good location.

Appreciate any help!
If you searched THIS thread, I would say that is the wrong one to search. There is a dedicated Pattaya Hotels thread here, which is where you should look. There are almost 5000 posts in that thread, so all the info you need is over there, and you can ask for hotel recommendations over there too.
Are most hotels girls friendly? Yes. Should you book for two adults? I have often not done that and never ran into any problems. Logically, I think you really need to book for two adults if you expect to have breakfast with your lady friend. Otherwise, no need. Safest practise is to book for two though.
As for which hotels to book, I think location is the key. And that depends on what you are interested in. If you will be a soi 6 kind of guy, you want something nearby. Likewise with Walking Street or soi Buakhao, etc. And of course, what is your budget?
So I would recommend including this info in a post in the Pattaya Hotels thread and see what pops up.

However, you do not need to stay near Soi 6 because the Baht bus (10 baht each way) is so cheap. You can rent an Airbnb at The Base Condo for about $40 USD. There are a number of hotels near The Base Condos on 2nd road and Soi Honey that will probably fit your budget.

Folks, by sheer luck (I booked tickets to patttaya between Feb 22&25. Just today read some news about elections scheduled for Feb 24th. So is my stay going to be pretty much ruined? Hopefully not but I know nothing about local politics so wondering if I should cancel or just go ahead. Please advise. Thanks!
