But there is that kernel of truth. Whereas if I'm having an online relationship with a girl in Alabama (or Jakarta), the odds that she has a local boyfriend for sex, and has several online boyfriend's sending her money, is relatively small. Have a relationship with a girl from Surigao or Butuan (or any filipina for that matter), and NOBODY is going to be shocked to find out later that she is boffing a local guy and getting western union from another american and a frenchman.

Just about every expat I've ever spoken to in filipines has been burned by this scenario, and has friends there who tell similar stories. Yet, I don't know any in other asian countries that have this tale to tell. Buddy of mine posts on DragonLadies website. They are experts in what parts of filipines the scamming is coming from. I read the site some. And my friend tells me the filipinas actually admit that they do this a lot, and so do their friends. Some say they are the only of their friends who don't do it.

There are plenty of nice filipinas in Butuan. But also a lot of scammers. They lie for any perceived peso. Who can tell the difference? Certainly not the tens of thousands of foreigners each year that filipinas scam?

See where that will get you. She will definitely will be bonking other men during your absense. Same goes to all the women including Indo women. Alabama girl will not be scamming online for money. That is the only difference. I had a GF when I went to School in Kentucky and she lived with me. We had a very good relationship. Listen. I go to PHI for mongering. Along the way If I have normal girls who want to spend time with me here and there so be it. I do not mind helping them financially but I do not go overoard and love them to death. It does not matter to me if she is screwing around.
