At the right side of the immigration booths there is a counter EAC Visa. Hand over a crisp 100 dollar note. Sticker fixed in the passport you're done. Do you think they called over arrival visa queue to make it faster for us? Fuck no. Am not aware non-Brits can buy the 90 day visa on arrival either, only Brits according to the site. The only benefit to standing in that line so long was the luggage inspectors were too tired to go through my shit by then, I just walked on by them.

You don't need E Visa. You can still purchase all Visa on arrival. In my case it took 5 minutes. I had to go and change a 100 euro note into a 100 dollar note. For the EATV they accept only dollars.

I would guess the Kenyan Embassy in Washington is protecting its own business by not publicising the visa on arrival option, unlike these other Kenyan diplomatic missions below who publicise it.

I am in Nairobi for two nights staying at Ole-sereni luxury airport hotel and wanted to know if it is a good hotel and where is the best place to get girls for both nights and what should I expect to pay and if any contacts available.

It is a good hotel.

It is probably girl friendly, you just have to probably ask the reception if there is a charge for an extra guest.

Best place to get girls is at Black Diamond in Westlands. It is pretty comfortable and safe for a first timer. Do not tell the girls you are staying at Ole Sereni at all because then they will smell money and increase their rates.

You should expect to pay about 2-5 k for a chica for a whole night. Although, 5 k is much on the higher side.

Some general impressions and activity update.

I live in Thailand so mongering is not something totally strange to me and have travelled to South Africa and Namibia a few times but Kenya is different.

OK arrive out of Abu Dhabi into Nairobi. It took longer for the girl in the Airtel booth outside to activate a new Kenyan Sim card for me than it did to clear customs and get my bags. Is this normal or has election stuff scared tourists away. It was just dead dead quiet.

So first thing I notice is how helpful, friendly and nice people are. Organised taxi at airport. Why I did this and not ubered it I don't know. Always a bit jumpy about getting uber at airport, had a funny experience in Phuket a year ago. Taxi to down town Westlands is 20 US. Staying at Grand Orchid Plaza. Azure. Check in hotel again nice smiles and laughs from all the girls. I've only been here 1 hour and seriously noticing the difference in peoples attitude here compared to Johannesburg. There just doesn't seem to be the same racial or even tribal hangup here towards us whiteys.

Rooms here at Azure are OK. Bit pricey and I will use it this time but may look for something else next time.

Anyway a wee afternoon kip and I'm only feeling half jet lagged. So its out to see the town.

First Stop is Brew Bistro in Ngong Road. Its not far from Westlands, Uber ride about 5 USD. Brew Bistro is upstairs in Peidmont plaza. Nice place good atmosphere, good food and beers nice. Its only 8:30 pm so not huge crowd in but same same again. I'm liking all the smiles and the Hello,'s from people. Had dinner there and decide to hotfoot it to Black Diamond. I think the Uber cost as about 400 KSH from Brew Bistro to there. Black diamond is in Westlands and everyone knows it. A few Tusker beers down the hatch and sitting back watching the world. About 10 pm some really cute ladies wander in and place is looking good. Has nice friendly vibe and I'm really liking Kenya and wondering why in heck I've flown over it so many times and not stopped here. Anyway cute looking girl walks by smiles at me. I smile back and then about 10 minutes later go and join here at her table. Now here is the other thing I like. OK I'm used to Thailand where girls English is hit or miss but here in Kenya their English. Well its more English than the English. We have a good old laugh and its back to hotel. No issues with bringing a joiner here. Very enjoyable night and morning. Girl was a real honey and heck of a looker. So that first night over. Big thumbs up from me. Couple of general observations. And no I'm not joking. Why is it when I'm sitting in a bar such as Black Diamond I feel like I'm in a David Attenborough video about Africa. In Attenborough voice. The lion sits quietly at the waterhole waiting for the prey to come. And come it does, first a few nervous ones and then the main herds at about 10:30 pm. The lion knows not to bolt early. Best to wait to watch and select the target. Ha ha. Another observation and you will think I'm bonkers but the water here is like soft I mean really soft. Like it used to be in Melbourne. Anyone know reason for this. Off to Westgate Mall now but so far Day 1 big big thumbs up.

I worked a long time on Ngong road but never ever went to brew bistrow even though I always meant to go check it out. Sounds like your on your way, just keep an eye on the things in your room a and your pockets on the matatu if you use them. Black Diamond, gypsy and Havana I know well in westie.

Good hunting![/QUOTE]Thanks Neddy69. Yeah hear what you say. Fortunately I have seen so much of it in Thailand I'm practically immune to falling in love now. Lots of truth in the saying that Marriage is like a Tornado. At first allot of blowing and sucking and then you lose your house.

Started off the day doing some work on laptop. Internet here at Azure is very good. Then off to Westgate Mall for a wander around. Art Cafe is great place, good food great atmosphere. I was there over lunch so not a huge amount of table sitters there plus its Monday and place seems to go into Monday it'is mode.

Using Uber allot and it really is cheap and convenient and cars everywhere. Big thumbs up for Uber.

The previous nights wreck the bed contest had me feeling a touch weary so didn't plan on having a big night. Decided to have a look at Gipsy's in Westland. Uber guy who picked me up had the worst, I mean make you gag, BO. I had the passenger window down and non too subtly had my head out the window.

Gipsy's was dead. Monday night. Nice set up though and I imagine its lots of fun on a busier night. Decided to have a few beers in the bar at extreme right as you come in. Tusker Malt. Not a bad drop. Only a few guys sitting at the bar and then this tall statuesque Nairobian walks in to go to bathroom. Our eyes catch and we smile. She is very very classy. Anyway she comes out of toilet and immediately starts in depth conversation in private way with barman at other end of bar. He goes a gets some paper and she writes something on it and gives it back. She goes back out to other bar but not without a huge smile towards me and then barman hands the paper to the other Caucasian guy sitting at the bar and then looks confused takes it back and then follows the girl where she had gone into another bar. Moments later the girl comes back walks up to me and says " I asked the barman to give this to you but he got it mixed up and gave it to the wrong guy ". Ha ha. That amused me. Anyway we talk and arrange to meet later in week for a drink. She is there with another guy so can't do anything that night but she was quite a lovely looking girl. Got to love Kenya. Phone numbers being given to you just by virtue of a smile.

Its colder than I excepted in NBO so decide I should leave the somewhat barren hunting grounds of Gipsy Bar and proceed to Havana's on foot. Only had about a dozen children pursue me for money and one of then saying I need money to buy books. Thats a new one. Anyway Havana is cool place, like the place allot. Not many singles around so I resign myself to Monday night being a quiet one when all of a sudden get msg from Miss Night before. She. Wants to join me. So she arrives a few minutes later we have dinner and then go to Black Diamond together. The food in Havana is really good. They do this beef Bruchetta which is very very nice.

Black diamond allot busier on Monday compared to Sunday which surprises me however I wouldn't rate the Monday quality as being great. A few drinks and then back home with Miss Night before who by virtue of last nights activities retains that title.

I now find myself in a tussle of Prioritizing. Before I came here I hit afrointroductions and Baddoo pretty hard and have gathered a virtual harem of girls who are all wanting / willing to meet. So my what's app is going off like crazy. And I am in very serious process of pruning. Got to love Kenya. Too many girls not enough days. Anyway dinner tonight with a lass from badoo organised. Should be good and if its not pay here uber fare home and off into the underworld again.

Going to Nairobi again, just for one night.

Kenya Comfort Hotel has now reasonable prices, 60 dollar / night. Anyone know if this is girl friendly hotel. I remember somebody giving comments about this but forget if it was about the expensive prize, or that they don't allow friend girls?

I send email to hotel and asked, but no answer.

Tungsten2 told me that Down Town hotel is like Terminal, where I used to stay before. And very near of Terminal (which is now terminated). Unfortunately Down Town hotel has only phone number in web, no online booking or even email address.

Hmmm. Maybe I can call them when I arrive to Mombasa, I first go to Mombasa and visit Nairobi just for one night.

Woodmere service apartments is available online in Kilimani, and cheap, this is what Naked Gunz recommended.

Looks nice for longer time stay.

Last time I stayed in Kahama hotel, Nairobi. Don't go there, it is in bad location. This was told me in Forum, but too late, I had paid my room already. Also room was small, and breakfast not good. No problem with a girl since I had booked for two.

There were not so much cheap flights available like in September, between Mombasa and Nairobi. Now Friday flights to Mombasa were full. Students travelling to Mombasa? (I hope). I wanted to stay in Nairobi on Thursday, since it was so nice nightlife night on September. Friday was too packed, and it was not so monger friendly as Thursday, too many normal customers disturbing mongerer-working girl encounters. But since cheap Friday flight to return to Mombasa were gone, I visit Nairobi on Wednesday instead.

So, my question is: Is Kenya Comfort Hotel girl friendly?
