For those living in Ghana: How do you make a living? I'd love to live there!

You can, however, live like a local on US$1, 000 per month.

Is it easy to find a paid job in Ghana? I'm about to get a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

People get jobs in advance or turn up and find or start something. Experience counts though, so unless you have a packet to bankroll yourself and then start something entrepeneurial, expect to have to do the miles first.

Met this girl a long time ago, then lost touch and haven't seen her around.

Saw her in Vienna again and exchanged numbers. Met up again, after several attempts. Strange evening, enjoyed drinks and food, talking about her course, started playing games on phone as we drove. Some fun but more tension, ended up leaving at hotel.

Most Africans with university degrees in the social sciences depend on foreign aid to get a job that pays a decent wage so that they have disposable income after paying for their children's school fees, food, and shelter etc. That's why they get very aggressive when those flaky development jobs are exposed for what they really are: Just a welfare program for Africa's middle classes with zero impact on the 'poor'. But it is getting better at least in Ghana with the private sector growing. But even female workers and students won't hesitate to exchange sex for some extra cash and most still can't afford the tuition.
