Your Responsibility
I have a question about negotiating the price of a freelancer.
The last time I was there 20 years ago, I checked into my hotel and walked a couple of blocks to Mabs. A girl approached me almost immediately and asked if I wanted to hook up. We negotiated 250 and I thought she was talking Reals so I said "sure". I had a girl in my room one hour after arriving in Rio but before we did anything I thought I should verify the amount in Reals rather than dollars.
I found out she was quoting dollars. So I had to renegotiate. I found out that the girls try to negotiate in dollars because I am a gringo. Do they still do that today?
Back then it was 3. 5 are per dollar. Now it's 5. 24 are per dollar.
It is absolutely your responsibility to Negotiate at the start / during / end that you quote in local currency. It is the girl's job to misdirect you gringos to pay in USD or Euros. Don't fall for the trickery. You started the negotiations by asking how much. If you don't understand Portuguese, your phone is your friend just put $R in front of your number. I. e. , $R250 or R$250 or $250R, you know what I mean.
But trying to sneak out of a Boate with a girl without paying the "desperta" fee or as it is known in Thailand, the "barfine" is a bad move for a number of reasons including one's personal safety. KKK. But hey, do what you like. I am not your father.
The girls are employees of the places you pay a barfine to take them out of. They get paid a salary. The girls in DV are customers of the establishment the same as the men are. If they do not find a man to go with, then DV gives them necas de pitibiriba (not a got damn thing) to take home.
At LA Cafe in Manila, which is also a freelance bar, the girl has to buy a drink and she is good. If she leaves with a guy and has not bought a drink or has not gotten a guy to buy a drink for her, then she will not be allowed in the next time. This is where I learned to just meet the girl outside around the corner. If the establishment does not see her leaving with a guy then they are square. And the chicks are the ones that taught me to do this.

I do not remember if it was in front of Mabs or Help or Meia Pataca that I found her, but her name was Amanda. She said 100. The next morning I handed her 100 reais (just over $25 at the time). She said it was supposed to be US $100.
I was like why would I have dollars in Brazil? She left upset talking about she was going to get the police or some gangsters or somebody. I did not speak Portuguese at the time. (As a matter of fact, she kept sniffing and pointing to her nose. So I gave her a Sudafed. Days or months or years later realized she was asking for cocaine.) She definitely had to be trying to put one over on me, because thereafter for years on end I was giving chicks from Help 100 reais for all night without a complaint.

Coincidence or Scam?
Why not just tell the girl to meet you outside?
Honest answer? I don't know if the girls get a cut of the exit fee or not. I might be just reaching for straws, but it's a hell of a coincidence that every time I tell a garota that I am going to go pay my bill, they All decide to stand next to me at the desk. So, I bypass that, by just paying my bill alone.
Miami, I am not going to debate with you on your personal preferences and price points. These independent girls choose to ply their trade at DV and as the OP posted, "DV charges either 75 or 100 are to take a girl out of the club with you, <snip it's called a "desperta" fee on your bill. " In addition, a takeout fee is in the price structure of every boate that I know of in SP and as well as DV here in RJ. So, there is nothing new here. No sudden surprises or hidden fees.
MY point is that if you don't like the pricing structure of DV, or Scandallo, Bomboa, or Casarao in SP, or any bordello, club or Go Go worldwide, then DON'T GO TO THESE ESTABLISHMENTS! It is that simple. Or as Vagabunda once suggested, go there to collect WhatsApp numbers and try to hook up with the girls later. But trying to sneak out of a Boate with a girl without paying the "desperta" fee or as it is known in Thailand, the "barfine" is a bad move for a number of reasons including one's personal safety. KKK. But hey, do what you like. I am not your father.
The takeout fee a DV is just a money grab and was never part of their price structure. This new fee might not even be a year old. I agree with having the girl meet you outside.
Yes, I negotiated with her for a lower price but I don't remember the exact amount. It's been a long time. It was more prevalent picking up girls from Mabs or Help. They always tried quoting in dollars without actually saying it.
Oh, I knew when they were asking for exactly 100 dollars. On a busy night, some of the top talent at Help would ask for and often receive 100 dollars. I indulged a couple times at that price.
If not made clear, it's so easy to specifically note "Reais" in negotiations that I don't remember ever having any misunderstanding. Again, problem solved.
I can understand entrance fees, overpriced drinks, etc but why would I pay a take out fee if all the girls are freelancers and do not work for boate? I don't get. Whether I hook up with a girl or not, is not their business.
Well DV doesn't charge the girls anything for entrance or drinks in order to entice them to come in so we have a lot to choose from. So they charge the monger to make up for what the girls didn't pay. They have to make money some how otherwise they would go out of business and then where would we go. That’s not to say they wouldn’t steal from you because they will so you have to question everything and they have answers for everything too.

Girls were hoarding 100 dollar bills because next week they got more reais. They thought they were going to get rich holding dollars but it never happened. Just as soon as the dollar almost hit 4 reais it started to slide in the next couple of years to something like 1 dollar got 1. 65 reais. I knew one girl from south of Brazil who had a large stack of 100's who was told by one of her customers who was in finance that it was going to 5. 5 or 6, I hope she converted before it hit 1. 65. If she asked you for 250 dollars that was extremely rich 20 years ago as well as today.

Dollars / Reais
The last time a girl played the dollar switcheroo was in 1999. Told me "1 hundred" in club help and then specified that she meant dollars when it was time to pay in the morning. We were taking the elevator down so I could catch a cab to the airport, so she was SOL. Even if we couldn't agree on the price, unless she was going with me to the airport, there wasn't much she could do about it.
Something I have noticed recently is the girl from DV saying that "they are going to stay all night". So we leave the club at 3:45 AM, get back to the hotel, take a shower have sex and then the next thing you know she is getting up to get dressed. When I said "You told me all night in the club". She pulled back the drapes and showed me the 5 AM sunrise, smiled and said "See? All night, it's a new day". I didn't mind because I don't like taking a new garota for an all-night session, so I just paid her and walked her to the elevator.

I negotiated with all the girls in Reais but some girls knew the conversion rate and tried to convince me that paying $R100 was too low based on the price of the dollar. It's been so long that I don't remember the exact numbers that we landed on but I wasn't going to be a pushover.
You misunderstand me. A girl's time off is a girl's time off. She is entitled to do whatever she wants when she is off the clock.
I don't employ the get her phone number 1st strategy for the simple reason that I go to termas and boates to get laid not to pick up phone numbers. But after an initial in-house session, I will exchange whatsapp numbers with the girls I really like. For me this works better with SP Freelance Boate girls than Terma girls because Boate girls have a lot more leisure time on the hands. In any case, I currently have several girls whom I originally met and shagged-in house at Scandallo, Bomboa, Casarao, and Bahamas and who now come see me at my hotel whenever I want and we have very good relationships. I posted about my Scandallo & Bombao girls many times.
Well, in some ways I'm with you on that. I also come to termas with an intent of getting laid, not getting a number. DV, however, is different. Like Mr. E says, the girls are not DV's employees. Their primary value for the establishment is to attract male customers who pay the entry fee and buy drinks. So no, my conscience won't bother me one bit to keep my 100 to myself.
So you are saying the desperta fee or barfine is optional? KKK. That's crazy. If it were optional everyone would choose not to pay it and the little dodge the OP suggested to avoid paying it would not be necessary. So, I don't think the bar is aware of what he is doing, but they will catch on sooner or later. You can be sure of that.
And what would they do? Ban me from the establishment? Yeah, that'll show me, LOL.
Just curious, has any of you guys ever been to the legendary Hungry Duck in Moscow back in the 90's? I mean, imagine if the knew the concept of barfine, LOL.
...Like Mr. E says, the girls are not DV's employees. ...
If DV wants to charge the fee, it should regulate the girl and not let them come and go as pleased.

Pernoite noemie bilas Michelle Obama.
I took her to motel lips in centro, 140 r for overnight, and 400 for her. 4 pops BBFS, hours total of fucking. Used the hidro, which is nice. Checked the box. What's the answer to sexual health and endurance? 19 year old bare pussy.
