It is an apartment building. Claudia always stays in Atlantis, two buildings further away from the Hilton than el Conquistador on the same side of the street.

I paid them 60K a few years ago. For the last year or so, I have given them 80K. That includes nude stills and video of everything. But I am a long-time customer who used to live there. One of Claudia's sisters is married to a friend of mine in Florida. I like them both.

The facial coloring comes from their make-up. The color is distorted by the camera.

I can't disagree that that's not overpriced, but not all of us got off on negotiating the price. For me, that's just too stressful: if the price asked is too rich for my taste I'd rather just say so and go fish elsewhere.

I'm not in the mood right now to post a long report on updates. To protect the innocent I can't go into much details. Been meeting other americans and Cartagena regulars the last few days. It's amazing how many people I've met from different areas of the world.

In a nutshell Venessa from LDV turned out to be too clingy so I had to put a stop to that. With the help of my friends. Been hanging out with this hottie from Medellin the last few days. Name Judy. She hasn't become too clingy or manipulative. Yet. Good sign! I guess we're in the rainy season right now. According to weather reports it's going to be less likely for rain on Friday, so Judy and I are going to be going (at least as of now) to the rosario islands. I'm going to buy the tour recommended to me at the Hotel Decameron. They got a great deal where everything is included and you get to party it up at the island. Food, drinks, transportation, kayaking, snorking, all that jaz. Sounds like a good time. (It was my idea to go, it's one of the goals of my trip). Worst case, if the plans fall through I'll just go myself.

After talking with the locals here, I've now come to realize that there is abundance of women to be had just around the city. The major benefit of a girl from LDV (or similar establishment) is that you can call them up the next day and don't even need to pay a house fee! I really like that. I'm now trying to figure out why anyone would go to a casa. I think the primary reason would be just to get in and get out. Since they are 'locked up' so to speak, you can keep your amitity. Hmmm, yeah, I'll visit that casa again.

A word about prices. My opinion is that prices are three dimensional. The first dimension is the price. The second demension is the quality of the chica and the experience. The third dimesion is risk, as in going to jail as a sex offender risk. How much people value the three dimensions is different between all of us. I put a lot of value on the second and third dimension, so I'm willing to let the first dimension slip sometimes.

Colombia women offer far far greater benefits in the second and third dimensions. Thus comparing prices you would find here to prices in the USA is like comparing apples to oranges.

So today the maid is coming to clean my room while I get a in-room message at the same time. Life is tough.

I read this discussion before, probably de word "overpay" appears a lot of times in this forum, more than necessary in my opinion.

I'm completely disagree with this word. I stayed in Cartagena 6 weeks last summer, I’m young and Spanish and with some days of work I fucked some Cartageneras for free, high class cartageneras in Mister Babilla or Joy Slava, but sometimes I decided to go to Elektra, LDV, tu candela, diva's. And sometimes I paid 200. 000 for ST, or 100. 000 for TLN. And one time I paid 400. 000 for TLN with an incredible paisa.

I think that is important for the people to know which is the reasonable price, but no more than this. Anyone will do what he thinks is the best.

I think that there are a lot of Hypocrisy with this matter, I lived one week with a girl that works in Diva's/elektra in a cheap Casa in the centro (near Juan Valdez). In this Casa where leaving at least 10 or 12 working girls and I listen stories, amazing stories about guys paying 300$ or 400$ for TLN and some rich colombianos paying 600. 000 pesos.

And I could check that some of this workin girls have regular (and stupid) novios in USA or Europe, sending 1. 000. 000 pesos monthly because the novio think that the girl is not working since he is paying a milion monthly. I listen those girls talking with her regular novio with the cellular before to go to the work. When those novios come to Cartagena (usually 4 or 8 weeks a year), they leave the work until her novio is in Cartagnea. Concretely a paisa working in divas had two foreign novios at same time, one from Italy and another from USA.

In my opinion these stories are really ridiculous, not pay 330. 000 pesos for a Colombian prostitute.

Maybe some guys have high level skills negotiating with working girls, maybe others have low level. Maybe you will negotiate with an prostitute that will cost you 100. 000 for TLN and maybe I will refuse to fuck with this girl, incluiding for free, but I will be happy to pay 400. 000 for another girl. This is a free market and in a free market any costumer/provider try to make his better deal.

Is important to know the reasonable price, before to make a deal with the girl, but no one can be ridiculous for pay 330. 000 for a prostitute. No more than any Porsche or Ferrari buyer when he could buy one Ford or one Renault.

In response to your post on pricing. I find it quite ironic if my memory serves me correct, that last year you told me you did not want to spend $50.00 dollars a night for an apartment rental, and I might still have your pm saved, but you go ahead and feel it is o'k to spend 400,000 on a Colombian prostitute? As I stated in my previous post, some guys just do not get it, and if you are paying these kind of prices you must be one of them. It is no wonder why the prostitutes in Cartagena are asking for 250,000, 300,000, 400,000 thousand pesos. I know others disagree with me, but it is people like yourself and Junkyard that make the girls feel they can charge $150. to $200.00 U.S DOLLARS for there services. Contrary to other opinions, paying these ridiculous prices does reflect on the pricing structure these girls are asking. However, some people such as myself who refuse to pay these prices receive the same quality service, but it comes down to the principal of it all. Why not develop some conversation skills, and develop chemistry with the puta, instead of paying these outragous prices?. It is exactly why Cartagena is no longer a reasonably priced mongering destination.

Lastly, in regard to the post about the little gifts of crayons, beanie baby like stuffed animals, and other similar items, it is a nice gesture, but do you really think you receive better service because of them?. You are giving kiddie like gifts to these adult girls. I asked a couple of my Colombian amigas about this before writing this post and they laughed when I mentioned these items. They would rather have a small sample bottle of perfume which you can buy on ebay very cheap, or a t-shirt, or something similar. They would much prefer to buy there own brand of makeup or nail polish, so why not take them to some tienda and let them buy the type or brand they use?. Doing this would also allow you to have more time developing chemistry with them. If this is something you do not want to do then why not just give them some extra pesos if there service and company deserved something special?. I am sure they would must prefer that based on the conversation I just had with them. There is really no reason to provide them anything unless you are planning on establishing an ongoing friendship with them. As I stated above, it does not provide you with any better service, as a puta is a puta, and it is all about money, unless you develop chemistry with them through conversation.

If you disagree all you need to do is go back and read previous posts and you will see how the prices in CTG have increased over time.
