Only issue I was trying to get to (when I started this) was, are there rackets / scams. Lots of bars (in many parts of the world) - have a separate drink and a separate (very high) price for this so called "ladies drink". You don't ask the price, they don't tell you the price, it is not listed on menu- you get a bill at the end for 25 $ (something like that). In Paris I was once handed a 500 E bill for a bottle of Champagne. So shit happens, be careful.
If that is not the case here in Medellin (as we are being told here) we should be fine, just confirm the price upfront to be doubly careful.

It is more like a big house with rooms rented out and is gated in. So people can not just come in freely off the street as they could at the Hilton, where there may be hundreds of rooms and hundreds of people staying there.
Aside from Conejitos (and the two cheaper alternatives either side of it), those other two clubs 5 minutes walk away and Fase Dos. Are there any other strip clubs in Medellin?

There is a locked security gate with a camera and a remote lock release at the sidewalk level. You won't get near the girls or guests unless they want you there. And, maybe I'm wrong on this, but somehow I think I didn't have a key to that gate, just got buzzed in, or maybe I was buzzed and forgot how that worked, LOL But, in general, no way are you walking in that place without the front desk guys allowing it. There have been severe situations that put people and their possessions at risk. This is one of the measures taken to control admission.
