Medellin Reports

This is a continuation of my report traveling through Panama, Bogota, Medellin and Cartagena.

Facebook girls will regularly contact you over messenger with many from Medellin. I found a FB girl who I connected with in Medellin. Our flirting started early and she sent me plenty of sexy pictures and she expressed her hope that we would have "Chemistry" and I would like her. I had a late afternoon and evening free time from my group so I took advantage of it. Our plan was to meet for drinks and supper and maybe more. When I met her I found her extremely attractive and sexy. We had one beer then decided to skip supper and grabbed a taxi to a love motel. Another amazing evening and a good connection. Nothing off limits. She was offended when I tried to give her some money. We are still talking over messenger daily.

Love Motels are interesting. You are allowed entry into the gates and quickly whisked in to a parking location or behind doors. The rooms were nice and included either a cubby hole with cold beers or a beer fridge. You are supposed to phone the front desk when you are done and they will figure out how much you owe and you pay through a cubby hole. They try to ensure your privacy. The cost was about $100,000 per hour.

I am hoping some others are not ticked of and would share there finds, several seem to be doing so.
My attitude/situation towards all this is:
- " At a certain age you can only walk around that much"
- "So many girls so little time" - Just imagine a dream girl is waiting for you and you are wandering around

All debate this forever without resolution. Some of these girls are not very smart (although very street smart). But I have met a few who are smart. They save their money. Have bought a car. Or even a house eventually (thinking of a few in both Colombian and Costa Rica). And even if they are "smart," most of them come from poor barrios where they are supporting their families and probably a boyfriend. They have no real job opportunities. Education is not something that has been made to be important to them. They see not future. So they live for the moment. I talk to a lot of these girls regularly. They ask me what I am doing and I am usually working. I ask them what they are doing and the answer is usually. Sleeping. Watching TV. Nothing. They just sit around the house. If they have money, maybe they drink. Not much of a life, if you ask me. As for the "stuff". I would argue that it's not necessary. I tend to like the girl next door. Her shoes or nails or purse do nothing for me. These girls do it to make themselves look superior to the others. They is intense competition among these girls. I know a few girls who want to take fotos of every meal they eat and every drink they drink. So they can post them and show their friends. It is unbelievable how important this is to some of them. For me, as long as you are cute and clean and provide good service, I do not care. I don't need the make-up, the shoes, the hair, the slutty clothes. Give me a nice shirt, jeans, a pretty face, and panties that are somewhat sexy and I'm happy.

I find out he was the pilot who flew the plane that got me to Medellin--I would totally buy or at least offer to buy the pilot a drink. I will pay extra for: a special smile, little bit more effort, that special butt, dressed for the occasion- whatever. I am never trying to throw money, have no need to show off or anything (a losers game) - but I will happily pay extra, a tip, whatever as appropriate. When I am on a holiday, I am not trying to save money- I am trying to spend money. People that make me have fun- I will pay them as appropriate. (And I always pay extra for convenience, and no headaches, and the "extras").

Would like to be branded the "Cheap Charlie", I know there is peer pressure, sales pressure and all that, and all that. At the end of the day - "Whatever makes you Happy".
