I am westerner and have been many times to Korea and several times to RLDs and usually not been allowed to go in.

At busy times A and B rows even stop coin-clicking on window when I or other foreign man walking past. Some of them pull curtains closed when they see us. Okay - I am not Brad Pitt but I am not old ugly man. I am certainly better looking than many Koreans who do go in and I do not stink of stale cigarette breath.

They do not like to entertain foreign men because they fear AIDS because their pimps tell them about the AIDS that ALL foreign men especially African men have AIDS.

The girls think that their usual Korean customer will not take them if they go with foreigners so they prefer to wait for Koreans. It is nothing about inferiority of the men. Absolutely.

Several times I have gone to A rows when it is quiet not busy - early in week or maybe very late at night (or early morning haha!).

When girl sees nobody is watching they grab my arm and pull me in and push me to back of house quickly. No problem to serve me as long as no Korean men can see. After the deed they check again outside looking if any Korean men watching before sending me out quickly.

Some houses have the side door or door at back so you can go out at side or back and nobody see you. That is easy for girl to make sure regular customer will not see.

For me it is simple. They prefer not to take foreigner if that will spoil the business but they want the money more, so pick your time and your place and it will be fine.

Service was always good in Korea - RLD or Itaewon! Wish I can be in Korea again but since factory transferred to China that is where I go now. (Service there actually better.)

Still - often I think about great times with Gina? Aaaaaaah!

[/QUOTE]Our friend Cocoroso is part right and part wrong. Koreans are definitely racist. But the racism can be overcome by grooming and language skills, courtesy and persistence. If you get treated like rubbish, you're not trying hard enough. I don't get treated like rubbish and in many places in Korea I am treated quite well. Including the red light districts where so many of you are getting the cold shoulder.

If racism is part of the environmental conditions, make an adjustment. I've been to "booking" clubs, including one in Kangnam called "Don't Tell Mama". This one is really great for picking up hot housewives. On my first visit I told the host please seat me in a back corner of the floor, because the ladies who might be interested to meet me might not want to [b]be seen by others[/b] to be interested to meet me. They tucked me into a small room at no extra charge. And boy, did that room pull girls. Korean people do not think they are superior than americans or white ppl. Yes, when we see the workers from east asia sometimes we feel superior than them and as far as I know people in the world have the same feeling when they see the people from poorer country.

When we see a lady with a white man we think it is interesting or normal which depends on how the white guy look. if the guy is ugly we think it is interesting but if the guy looks good it is nothing special. For the normal case, we never give a shit. but interesting cases are interesting to ALL people.

It is true that korean guys do not want to buy the ladies who take foreigners as customers because we also fear HIV and STD. Korea is still holy peninsula from the AIDS but it is increasing and we believe that increasing HIV patients is due to foreigners and it is true. So, if a lady takes a foreigner then she will lose all korean customers so they do not want to do it.
Miari used to take foreigners and korean men stopped going there because of the reasons that I mentioned above. So, miari put a plan card at every enterance of RLD said we don't take foreigners. after some time, miari took its korean customers back.

I hvae been to about 20 countries so far and met so many foreigners so I know about america, europe, England, and so on quite a lot. In korea, there is no racial group like KKK in america so if you say koreans are racist then what you are? A extreme racist?

Moreover, due to the dominance of English and necessity Korean people are very open to foreigners.

This will be my last explanation to correct your misconception and I don't want to argue with you guys but having a clear understnading is importnat so I stood here to make you understand. Business is a business and it has nothign to do with racism.

To summarize my idea, Koreans are not racist.
RLDs do not want to take foreigners because they will lose korean customers.

The room I had had a jaccuzi but no shower table.

The girl came about 15 minutes later. I would rate her a 6 for face and a 5 for body. Early 20s and fairly plain, she would not allow any rubbing or extra activities, very mechanical.

There used to be three famous anmas in Kangnam area which were so-called 3S(Sun, Suanbo, and Star) but they are not famous any more becuase anma business got into hard competition. I would like to suggest other places where promotions are on such as 2 :1 or 3:1 for the same price.

I used to frequent Gae-gu-ri(meaning frog in Eng.) opposite of Ramada Seoul hotel(ex-new world hotel).
They offer 2:1 service. one girl is your full service girl and the other girl with mask will come in when your girl starts likcing and sucking in the bathtub after washing your body. Kinda disappointing...

I disagree with those who say RLD's are not racist and only turn away foreigners for business purposes. If that were true then why do so many of the girls give us such disgusted looks when we walk through? If it were strictly business they would politely smile or at most ignore us. They aren't all like that but I've seen my share. Anyway, isn't that racist of the Korean customers to avoid an RLD because foreigners go there? If you use the HIV argument, that's uninformed. There are known cases of married Korean men, going on business trips or sex tours in countries with high rates of HIV, who bring the virus back and passit on to their wives. No single group is responsible.

And here's the kicker. The last time I was in Miarian an ajuma told me "get out monkey!" I nearly died laughing. I'm about as white, blonde and unhairy as you can get.

I think that both are true: it's a business practice and it's racism.


Finally, anyone who says all Koreans are racists is being stupid (I know it's tempting though) and Cocoroso making the blanket statement that "Koreans are not racist" is stupid too. Lots of Koreans are racist, just as are lots of Americans and Swedes and Dutch. Face it, the world is full of racists Cocoroso, your country too. Hopefully you and I aren't.

Lets agree for the time being that in every country there might be racist type people and and none racist type. The difference in feel might be that most of us expats are also selected by our companies due to our non racist and open minded attitude. The racist type of our countries stays at home, while we as guests here in Korea have to deal with all types.

But who cares, I don’t request from any girl that it is her duty to accept me as a customer. So if they don’t want to take me, that’s fine, I don’t bother further.

According to my short stay and the few adventures I had here, I can say already that it is no problem to get satisfied here. If one does not take me, there will be many others who are willing to do so.

This applies also to the RLD’s if this is your favourite playground. No foreigner should go to 588 during the prime time (except only watching), which I accept to be ‘reserved’ for our Korean friends. Avoid the 588 and go to yongsan instead. According to my short investigations you find 8-9’s as well in the B-Rows, not many, but they are there.

And remember a global common experience, that the big A-class stunners in look are by average (exceptions might be there) not always providing an A.-class service accordingly.

What we are all looking for are those girls who have a passion for their Job and enjoy to be banged - right? If this is p4p or through ‘dinner course’ does not matter. I personally accept some lower ‘looks rating’ in exchange for that.

So guys now continue to provide us information how we can come closer to those passionate girls.

The whole thing reminds me of a story one of my Korean freinds told me.

Working on the Alaska pipeline in the 70s, he'd sometimes get "homesick" for some Korean action. As that was in short supply in those days he'd have to "settle" for Anglo and Native girls. He said he was bummed until he realized that "All girls are Korean on the inside."...that once you're in the sack, race doesn't mean all that much and a lay is a lay.
